@@FrostReavetbh drytron wouldn't be as relevant nowadays, most decks can just chain block the effect they use to deal with the infinite negate. For sure that requires skill. There is no skill vs stun. You just have to draw the correct card. I prefer seeing 2 meta decks going at each other with well timed effects, chain block, baits and an epic back and forth instead of just flipping a card and proceed to just beat down while the other side just passes because he didn't draw his outs.
Seeing change of heart make a resurgence has been very interesting. Its so strong against Appoulousa and snake eye both, allowing you to shut down multiple forms of disruption and turn it into your own form of disruption without triggering any destroy effects.

@@exursistas an unchained player... We can often play through niburu. But only though specific lines. One trick is to not activate Shyama's GY effect and keep a card to be popped if the nib does drop (eg. Any backrow). That will trigger Yama, while the nib + token will give you two extra bodies. Pak has a more detailed video on playing through Nib if you want to take a look. As you can guess, it's hand dependent and sequence dependent. So it's not something we can pull off every game, especially if we're not expecting a nib.
I'd rather get stunned by a fossil dyna and a macro cosmos than get stunned by 10 disruption yubel. The good thing about stun is it doesn't waste your time. It's literally peak yugioh. And it's not always a full board lockdown turn 1, there's only so many legal cards right now with floodgates being heavily limited that you can't lockdown immediately turn 1 usually. When you get a tier zero meta with a deck that takes SOOOOOO much time to set up a board you'll change your tune.

There's a PAC video explaining how to play around Nibiru (and Bystials too) with unchained. The gist of it is the use of the lvl 8 dog and to have shyama effect to special from grave available (either by having it in grave or in field). I remember that he was able to go to caesar or gryphon + muckraker, really suggest to watch it to anyone interested in unchained. Of course the downside is running one more brick
ppl keep sumon primera first... but primera is the only tunner in the centurion deck and everyone who know about the deck is just waiting for her... so you shoulda get the trudea first... they dont know if you have another primera on hand or not! if you use the field spell to summon trudea! also centurion is decent it need to mix with another engine to be decent, most of the time bystial but you can always add another one. and always put a chaos angel in! primera+any lvl 6 bystial is a protected for all of your synchro! and instead of summon chaos angel on your turn you can do that on opponent turn and banish one of their card. put the angel in defend! remember it protect your other synchro!
Well, Tenpai is necessary for the Game to be honest, a winrate Ratio 63%-37% going first is more than just unbalanced for a Game like yugioh, its still beatable and to be fair, the only "problem" is the fieldspell and yeah its annoying but as I said, going first is way to strong rn.

42:20 The Centurion player misplayed hard by activating Primera. Seems like people (including Dkayed) don't know about Primera's effect which gives protection to all Lv8+ centurion monsters. All the Centurion stuff had protection but it went to waste by activating Primera
If Centurion didnt summon Primera 42:11, LVL 8 Trudea wouldnt have been poppable by the unchained monster because of Primeras effect. Only the face down and the samurai card couldve been destroyed
I see people hating on stun, and I usually only play it when things get really bad, but I get it. After matching into 4 sefk and losing all 4, winning a coin flip, and then losing to Yubel OTK because, I get why some people juts want to normal a card, set 2 and pass.
To be fair as a tear player they kinda knew it was over after the bystial and called by ...they only hoped the opponent bricked after all their disruption so they could attempt a follow up 😭😭
im the tear player in the video, after winning my top 16 i checked the other top 16 i was in the bracket with, and after realizing it was a centurion mirror i knew it was over for me the next match, i wanted to try out tear post banlist because i tought it was a good meta call but these bystials completely shutted me down and there was nothing i could have done about it

Tenpai can do 37,000 damage in a turn. Now decks are teching against other going second decks because they are preping for tenpai. Ancient gears is a bad deck already and now people are more prepared for it

I regularly play decks that beat Stun. A lot of these are considered "Tier 3" or Rogue since their matchup into mass disruption boards w/handtraps isn't as reliable as the ones into Shifter nonsense and floodgates(though this often leads to more reliable ladder climbs if you build right). Stun decks ironically only work as consistently as people complain about if most players are building to play or beat the best decks(weaker decks copying the playstyle of higher tiered ones are unfortunately going to get caught in the crossfire).

I play Swordsouls mostly and i have never had a problem with stun, i have lost to them but i have won more bc i run board breakers. The one who have PTSD by stun are only sheeps who have learned their combo through tutorials in YouTbue

Sometimes I feel like the only reason I've started respecting Stun strats is because I regularly play decks that have ways of beating them. A lot of people though like to sit on one deck they specialize in that has no way of dealing with floodgate shenanigans, leading to all this rage. Sacking into wins with optimal floodgates isn't all too different from sacking into wins with Tear mills outside of the time it takes. Some decks are just better at dealing with monster effects than Spell/Trap effects, Yubel can't do squat against backrow besides try to turbo out a Knightmare or S:P or something during their turn or if the opponent puts up a monster, while they can easily put up more Monster Negates than the average deck can handle, there's plenty of ways to take advantage of that that these tournament players clearly utilized to push the "best deck" out of the upper half of Top Cut, while many on ladder would rather complain and ask for bans than adjust their decks in any way to beat this kind of nonsense effectively(though to be fair not every deck is built to deal with things like Stun or a Turn 1 R-ACE/Centur-Ion board, all of which have very similar weaknesses, though the last of those can bait out Thrust more easily to make adding that one of out more consistent in exchange for being better protected against Destruction effects, give and take I suppose).
They got dominus impulse and simultaneous equation canon not realease yet, every new trap cards are they supports, but yeah not the real archetype one. I'm a lab player tho and I really want them to release the sister with the scissor, and maybe with a new archetype trap card too

It takes a good chunk of Deckbuilding strategy to build something that can top an event, especially when you have to consider that you might be up against Rogue entrants that don't care about the majority of your most important floodgates, forcing you to think on the spot of ways to take on those anomalies. That's why I often consider Rogue to be an answer to anti-meta, but Rogue decks often have their own issues keeping them from being played at the same rate as the top decks. That's why there tends to be a slanted triangle between Meta, Anti-Meta and Rogue matchups.

@@neilpersen L Take. Most decks only play 1 or two backrow removal cards that aren't searchable. You're essentially saying "dRaW tHE oUt." Which is a terrible argument. Tierd decks have interactivity for when they go second or board breakers. All of but a handful being played help against stun
