Fact: I optimized my deck to counter tenpai specifically
Tenpai dragons shouldve been hit. Idc if it didn't win, it should've been hit. 99% of the deck is handtrap.i rather fight runnick, sky striker, or labrynth tbh.
I run runick and sky striker and i know people want to fight those decks cuz they are trash. Got them into master 5 or higher but they cant keep up with the meta
i prefer tenpai than runick.
A going 2nd deck this strong should not exist in best of 1 with no side deck.... its just not fun
but it didnt even got to the finals. there so many ways to counter them. just adapt to it
brother he literally just said it is a best of one with no side deck adapting to it is literally "draw the out" Which isn't realistic in the slightest lol. He never mentioned the tournament at all just the fact that in a best of one if you don't know you're fighting Tenpai you can just get steamrolled just cuz.
@@Altares_Vbro you know you’re fighting tenpai because it’s everywhere. Are you building you’re deck to beat cloudians? xD
right lets ignore snake eyes fire king, ritual beasts, yubel, branded, labrynth, etc because you're clearly a retard. Don't respond to a guy ignoring the entirety of the context of the original post
I took tear format for granted… at least it was interesting mirror matches
I’m hard stuck d5 with lab. I win every match I play but I can never draw lord of heavenly prison againist tenpai. It just never happens and I faced 5 in a row
just say fuck it and run solemn judgment, thats what am i doing, i switch from furniture build into trap build and i never lose to tenpai after that, playing more backrow heavy build give a much better result because it makes their 20+ handtrap useless
@@jabermogwai5996 yeah I have a trap build too. I got both version and the problem with my trap build is the same I play the lord and solemn still lose😭😭
Add dark highlander (fiend synchro+no synchro for both players) and a copy of waking the dragon. It works fine for me
Smelt some cooking here. Nice ideas guys
Dimensional Barrier has been working for me
Damn, ritual beast are so boring, i preffer a Quick duel vs tempai that waste 20 min vs that deck
Ikr😂
Why is everyone talking about how bad matches are in MD, i only got a few tenpais, mostly Msochist challenges for me
I am not a fan of the Tenpai meta but I really enjoy making them rage quit because they couldn't just otk. Feels so good, much better than when Snake eyes were dominating
I'm out here crying bcs I came back to the game one month ago and I randomly pulled all the centurion cards...and I sold out all of them to make my dark lord deck....
Anyway, does anyone know if you can drop out of diamond 5 from consecutive losses? I want to try out some decks and I don't want to seriously climb all the time
You cannot drop out of Diamond 5 unless you wait until the season ends. Then you will derank to platinum.
I found the most toxic way to beat tenpia with tearlments and I’m gatekeeping
My girl Winda mentioned!!
Free floowandereeze
;lab making top 2
konami: let's get big welcome to limited
I'm a big fan of Yu-Gi-Oh
Time to add kiteroid to MD
Tempai gets cooked a lot too if the opponent knows what they are doing.
I’ll always laugh when someone activates 2 gammas in a row (and only has one driver).
Lol at least my duel links knowledge have something to do in md now
not a problem at all there are alot of decks that can deal with it. ice barrier mathmech terahertz lightsworn tear ftk protos stun. its just an otk deck nothing special once you figure out their gimick its quite easy to shut down.
Dekayed you fool ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ im going to quit yuigoh master because of tenpai dragon
Idk what people are talking about; format is bad, but runick format was the worst ever for masterduel. No debate.
Summoning to 1 i feel like would help a lot.
I just wish they would bring branded back or give it more support.
My god, in this video about "how surrender in master duel?" 😂
Pretty sure red reboot has been banned for 2 or 3 years in the tcg. Definitely long before tenpai
I know some people are struggling against Tenpai. In my opinion and experience it’s actually extremely easy to counter. Most just don’t know how to or the techs.
Tenpai has been giving me the most free wins in master ranking. I will gladly go first and all if they make me or I’ll pick it because I know I’ll end up winning for going first.
Centurion should be the limit in terms of what a deck should be able to do.
Cosmic blazar + 20 handtraps?
Don't really see much of a difference, between this and any other format.
As long as it’s entertaining I don’t care if it’s toxic but the battle phase konami that’s just wild
I've been kicking tenpai dragons ass with mathmech all day lol
As a lab player for a while, tenpai is the most underwelming of the supposed top tier deck in the past formats. Nowhere near tear release that was just simply impossible to play, purrely impossible too and snake eyes impossible to keep up with their recovery. Playing tenpai with lab just requires to flip one darumma and instant scoop
The matchup for lab is horrible bro. Yeah if you hard draw daruma you are good, but that’s literally hoping to „draw the out“. Try to set daruma from the deck in your lab combo and you will see it’s not that easy. Lab is okay against most board breakers, but tenpais 24 handtraps and quickplays make sure, you well never be able to chain lady to your traps.
@@Jackinthebox1719 play arias 3 trap trick 3 daruma you can also play 2 dimesional barrier and 2 waboku, theres too many options, also lord to protect backrow. tepai has been easy for me. Much rather have tenpai than snake eyes or tear piles honestly
@@timesnewroman3880 yeah the trap heavy version is really good against tenpai but gets destroyed going second by yubel & co, which require you to see handtraps. But thanks man, you inspired me to mess around with arias and thunder of ruler/ waboku.
Endymion has been destroying tenpai for me personally
Mighty master my favorite boss monster of all times have fun crushing them👌🏻
I mean, a deck that pumps out 10+ negates going first and is resilient to handtraps? No shit it was good against the blind second deck.
@@hoainamvu1937 Aren't you the smart one 😉
@@PineapplePizzaBiS No offense actually, not trying to downplay your achivement, I just think that it was pretty obvious
@@hoainamvu1937 I'd typically agree, but if it was as you said, it would be more heavily considered as a counter. Unfortunately, that leaves only condescension as your purpose 🤷🏽 It's no biggie
me, personally, i have never lost a match against tenpai. I am playing ancient gear.
Yugioh is a puzzle game and when a vast majority of players are giving you the same puzzle to solve maybe it's time for you to scratch your head a little cuz boy oh boy you need to work those brain cells to find a solution. Been ending on terahertz with mathmech and had sweet wins. I ain't cryin
It must be nice to stuck in silver 3
Terahertz against tenpai is basically a floodgate lol
@@Jackinthebox1719 tenpai fan or what
@@chaotic.rampage hate that deck, but most of the players in diamond master play HTs and boardbrakers so things like terraheartz don’t stop them in my experience.
@@Jackinthebox1719 wurm protects against backrow removal/change of heart and superfactorial goes against droplet
At least it's how i made it to M5 my friend
Nooooo Iorisaur you were so close 😢😢😢
