These duels are against plat players who don't even know their own decks. Dude messed up his turn 1 combo, then played his own monster in the iron thunder column AND blocked the monster zone. These are meta decks played by horrible pilots
Im just gonna say it relinquished should get a ritual spell styled monster that searches relinq on summon and then has a quick effect on field to use monster in your hand or 1 spell or trap your opponent controls as the tribute material
Worse part about it is they didn't even do the combo right they're supposed to link off the lvl 7 to make the rank 10 which would have given them another tower

I'm just using my imagination here, but I think a retrain of the monster "Doma the Angel of Silence" called "Doma the Angel of Eyes Restrict" would be cool (feel free to write your own lol). Here's what I would write: *Doma the Angel of Eyes Restrict* "While you control a Dark monster, you can Special summon this card from your hand, then you can activate this effect; Special summon one 'Golden-Eyes Idol' from your hand or deck, then add one 'Fusion' or 'Polymerization' spell to your hand. If a monster effect is activated (quick effect); you can banish one 'Golden-Eyes Idol' from your hand, field or graveyard. During your Main Phase you can activate this effect; add 1 banished 'Golden-Eyes Idol' that you own to your hand. If this card leaves the field because of a card your opponent controls; you can Special summon one 'Illusionist Faceless Magician' from your deck or hand. You can only use each effect of 'Doma the Angel of Eyes Restrict' once per turn and only once that turn." Doma would fit the theme given it was in Pegasus' deck in the anime, and the original monster has a big eye on the side of its shoulder. The effect is probably a little OP and could be split across two different cards, but I find it fun to get creative when making up card effects - there are plenty of other cards out there which are really OP anyway :P
Personally I feel like Lava Golem would mix really well with Millenium Eyes Restrict cause you can remove problematic cards from your opponent's field AND equipped a 3000 atk brusier to it without suffering the drawback. Plus you can have as many as 3 Lava Golems to get rid of your opponents annoying monsters, and if needed you could add 3 Volcanic Queens for single monster removal.
I used to use Lava Golem in all my Eyes Restrict decks, especially since it was one of my favourites I owned in the TCG. But then I discovered Kaijus and learned I could tribute monsters with them without using up my Normal summon. Before Millennium-Eyes Illusionist was added to Duel Links, I used to summon Lava Golem, summon Millennium-Eyes Restrict, end turn, then chain Millennium-Eyes to Lava Golem when its effect activated
Update: I got to Plat with a similar deck but with Illusionist Faceless Magician in it for a little extra resilience... though I'm starting to see a lot of Banish-heavy decks... I guess this is where the fun will end 😅 I even went against a Ghoti deck; Millennium-Eyes had all of their important starting/extending cards equipped and negated, almost completely paralyzing their deck... then they just banished a Trap from their GY which added the water Kaiju to their hand... _pain_ 😩

I run a similar deck, love the relinquish line, only suggestion I have is a lava golem for a kaiju, being able to sack 2 in this meta is pretty good. Especially with say baron and sp little on the field.

The only folks who have a problem with Maxx C, are the folks who are a part of the special summon solitaire problem. I definitely understand the hate, dealing with hand traps that negate and boards that you can't beat without six different forms of Kaiju, but Maxx C isn't an issue in MD. It's funny how you use it more reactionary to punish the opponent, more than you just click it and forget it. That's the whole point.
DM is better with Diaballastar since she can send any garnets to the GY Also branded is good with DM But a pure DM deck? Unless they get great support like blue eyes is getting, they are just too slow and reliant on a cards that need to stay on the field with lasting consequences
