Love this song. I remember trying to learn how to double tonge fast. My mouth hurt for 2 days
All you gotta do is take it slowly and very gradually(don't rush it) speed it. You have to take your time. It does feel rough on the tongue at first but you get used to it.

How long would you think a high-school trumpet player would take to have it presentable?
Depends on how good the player is 😬 I’m not sure the average high school trumpeter could get this “presentable.” It’s a very difficult piece. But an advanced high schooler probably could with a few months
yea i’m in high school rn and i can play almost half of it in my own tempo. i’ve only been playing it for about a week so in about a month or two, i should be able to play it.
