That moment you realize Arkham origins had more boss fights than Arkham knight
It had the best boss fight out of them all. Such a shame Arkham Knight could not follow up. Oh well, All are special in their own way.

kevin texter Replying to an old comment here, but I’d argue Batman was more of a detective in this game than City and Asylum. Instead of just scanning finger prints or tracking booze in the air, he analyzed the hell out of all the crime scenes, and even had the ability to simulate the crimes in order to help him determine who the suspect was, or where to find other vital clues. That’s something that the previous two games lacked, and I’m glad it returned in Knight
@@jakobhoffman3199 you are right, but when I think of story this batman came closest to killing Joker, in the church when this music is playing I always imagined Bruce looking into the abyss deeper than he ever did later. Maybe it's my own head canon but I alway imagined up to this point batman always thought he could simply out muscle anything he came across. Hence why Bain and Joker are both here, one is stronger, and the other messed with his head.
@@jakobhoffman3199 I'd go a step further and say Batman is at his most dangerous when he's more detective and brain than brawler. Anyone can beat someone up. But a guy that that find and track clues that the best detectives in an entire department can't find, track you to your house and watch you from unknown shadows until he knows your every pattern right down to what you beat off to, has already sent all the evidence to the police and just before you hear the sirens while sleeping in bed after a night if crime, your closet opens and a six foot bat walks out and warns you to go silently or else.
@@shawnscientifica6689 that is true, perhaps my own head canon has me feel he at this stage is Batman to fulfill a blood lust to make others hurt as he does, but only by the end chooses to become hero over vigilante, like again at the church he truly wanted to kill Joker and knew he would enjoy it. However choosing not to allowed him to have the purpose of saving Gothem over just vengeance

+Zheru Zhong not the true arkham fans..I, as a genuine batman/arkham fan, consider Knight to be the weakest link among the 4 games..Asylum was great,City was perfect,Origins was good and Knight was a disappointment..End of story.

Origins is my favorite. Best story, most gritty, best boss fights, and I really enjoy the time frame in Batman's career the most. He needs to be a shadow, a legend, a scary story. The later games he's too domesticated. He's just walking around talking to people and cops like he's Superman. It loses that spark that makes Batman special. He isn't a friendly neighborhood Batman, he's a ninja wrapped in stealth shrouded in urban legend.

I don’t understand why people gave this game mixed reviews, all the Arkham games were absolutely phenomenal, they are without a doubt my fav video game series. They have best music and everything they also began the series and ended the series perfectly!!! Hands down 10/10!!!

Also the fact that WB focused more on DLC rather than fixing the game at the time also soured things out quite a bit.
A bit of a shame. Cos I decided to play it again recently and I'm having a good time with it.

This was it. This was my introduction to the Arkham games. I got it as a christmas present too. I love the title screen's theme and the game as a whole was really fun. I will forever cherish the memories this game gave me.

Malcom The One I agree on the theme... but I disliked the game's gameplay. Everything was so buggy, the controls weren't as polished as they could.

Yeah, I've been playing Arkham games back to back. I am actually on credits of the Arkham City atm. I started off with origins... but I never finished it, I just... it's so annoying to play! :D
I once got killed in the Firefly fight because the everytime I tossed a glue bomb at him the camera went close to him. This wouldn't be bad on itself... but sadly Batman can take damage while this happens and can't move. So when I tossed the glue bomb, he tossed fire grenade that blew off screen, causing me to get unavoidable damage.
Soooo annoying. But that's not even the worst bit, the magnetic enemies and just completely rubbish flow of combat is annoying as well. Predator encounter enemies are even more blind then they used to be as well!
Well off to Arkham Knight now.

Very underated game, I feel like it tells the story of Batman's origins well, depicting him as a more angry and vicious hero, compared to his maturity in the later games. Great characterisation, not too mention the soundtrack is class. Really hope to see another prequel game like this
I would love a game set just after this.. Or even just before. Either way, I'm down. But I don't think we'll be getting any more Arkham games, now. Not fresh/new ones, at least.

I personally love how it fits its own theme while also squeezing in Carol Of The Bells as well as The Dark Knight Rises.

We can't deny that WB Games greenlit this as a cash grab to market on the series' popularity but this is one of the few times where a cash grab ended up being really good.

Once again, a bloody soundtrack to one of DC's greatest creations. I have to say it does have a sort of classic Danny Elfman brooding sound to it but with a combination of Zimmer's intense score to the dark knight films.

What a treat to be able to play this game when it first came out. When I first booted the game this main menu sequence gave me goosebumps. So grateful for the Arkham series, they’re all masterpieces and even the lowest rated one is nothing short of a gem.

This game is so special to me. It came out when I was in a rough time. I remember staying up ALL NIGHT playing it over and over because I loved the Christmas setting and the story of multiple assassin's after Batman's head in the one night he shouldn't have to deal with it. I would get a large soda, some snacks, and just enjoy this game to it's max. Thank you Warner Bros. Montreal and Rocksteady.
This theme literally gives me chills. It has so much power and melancholy in it. It's hard to explain. It literally says to you "That's not that lonely wolf batman you're looking for. That's the young, angry batman, who will beat the shit out of you if you even try to commit a crime"
It perfectly captures early years of Batman, being more violent and still hasn’t learned what it fully means to Batman yet
That for sure can detail the title theme is more chaotic yet intense in comparison to the others were there more chill.
