I'm glad these videos exist! Being an adult an all means I can't play straight through. I hate forgetting what the game is about because I haven't played it forever.
Uncharted 2 was the best. The best villian the best story and that surprising lost city at the end with the monsters
The most forgettable story in all of gaming, was fun while it lasted though
aren't they going to cover golden abyss it's considered cannon.

When i played uncharted 2 and 3 i thought the grpahics and animations were incredible but uncharted four makes it look like utter shit
Uncharted 2 and 3 were leagues above games of their time and uncharted 4 is leagues above current games

I'm usually the guy who shouts loudest *against* sequel after mindless money-grabbing sequel in gaming, but I'm actually really gutted that Uncharted 4 will be the last Uncharted. I will truly miss these characters.
And to think I was going to re-play this one after UC2 to get on par with UC4. Thanks +Gamespot and *Lucy*.
However, I'm surprised how every game has the same story between *Nate* and *Eleana*. They're separated in the beginning, but after 12 hours of adventurous gaming, they are back to give another shot at it again. I wonder if real world marriages work the same way. Though I'm less inclined to escape multiple life threatening scenarios just to give another shot to failed relationships.

Supposed ancestor. it's never confirmed and often hinted that it's not Nathans real last name, however you still don't need to share the same name to be related to an amcestor. that being said, it's implied that Nathan drake took the name after an obsession, and didn't actually aquire the ring from being passed down from generation, but stole it. so it is entirely possible, and even more likely that he is not in fact related to sir Francis drake. the fact that we are left to wonder is a testament to naughty dogs storytelling genious.
One thing she forgot to mention was that Nathan Drake is not really a descendant of Sir Francis Drake.
They cover this in the game, they say he's a descendent for a bastard child of his.
+Nick Lawrence Marlow reveals that his last name isn't Drake, and you find out that his name is Nathan Morgan in Uncharted 4

That's not actually confirmed until Uncharted 4.

To me, when I played it, I thought, man that campaign was long... But then I heard that uncharted 4 was twice as long
Forgot to mention Cutter went ape shit because he got shot by one of those darts too and nearly kills Nate

This was the only game were the designers were like "ok lets make as many set pieces and somehow put a story in them".

probably because a cement lid that size would probably weigh over a ton, maybe even two.
+EATGLUEGETSTRONG I can't find a force coefficient for concrete on concrete but assuming its at least as large as cement on metal (.58), Drake could bench press at least 1200 lbs, making him AT LEAST the strongest person in the world.

it wasnt fake money drake and sully pretended to make the deal go sour so they can then track them back to there warehouse

What about Uncharted 4?
Weakest story in the series. The subject of Drake's origin and true identity is broached but then goes nowhere. Worse, the essential thread about him putting his friends at risk by pushing forward with this adventure instead of letting it go is completely abandoned instead of being harnessed for character development. The fake-out over Sully's death is annoying, too, both in itself as a trick and for failing to play into this theme of Nate endangering those he cares about. It's just not a well-considered story at all because too many important pieces are left dangling and isolated instead of coming together or at least receiving individual conclusions.
Now that you mention it yeah that's pretty disappointing. I did like the gameplay ideas/mechanics/levels (other than the aiming) though...
They leave the true basis of his identity for U4. Also the fact that he sees Sully die is a warning and sort of an indicator to stop treasure hunting because it endangers those people. Which is why he is living a normal life in U4. He has to prevent Marlowe from getting her hands on the hallucinogenic water and the Djinn first, which is why he doesn't leave Ubar.
It's not really an acceptable excuse that those themes were addressed in Uncharted 4. An individual game's story needs to stand alone better than that, and, again, the ideas seemed to be abandoned within U3.
