- In today's Thailand travel vlog, it's a bit of a race against the clock. Our time in Phuket is quickly coming to an end, so we're exploring Phuket Old Town before heading to an island that Ashley has been dreaming about visiting for years.
From cafes, local food, and sights you have to see, we'll take you on a picturesque journey through popular places like Thalang Rd, Soi Rommani, and an old secret Chinese shrine. But you can't forget about the beautiful buildings and cute Instagram-worthy cafes, so we'll see some of those, too.
Before the clock runs out, we'll stop in for some local favorites at a Phuket staple, Lock Tien Food Center. With just minutes to spare, we check out of our hotel and board a ferry to an undisclosed location-you'll have to stay till the end to see!

Yes! We can see why. The southern region of Thailand is so impressive and beautiful. That’s why when we arrived in Koh Phi Phi, we just hung out and enjoyed the scenery. So peaceful. We could live there forever.

Thailand is always pretty hot, but August and after isn’t quite as bad as April-June. But it will likely be quite rainy. 😊
@@mikeandashley How is the English ability there in conversation? At least in stores malls food places transportation etc
In Phuket, it's pretty good everywhere, though understanding a little bit of the local language is always helpful. Phrases like "hello" "thank you" "spicy or not spicy" and understanding how to say numbers like 1-10 are all really helpful and have aided us in our travels. Surprisingly, Thai was quite easy for us to pick up, where as Khmer and Vietnamese has been proving to be more difficult haha.
