Phuket Old Town sunday market is certainly a great place to be in. Its closed to traffic and has a fantastic array of delicious street food and performances. I was there in March 2024 and enjoyed the beaches, wonderful cuisines and all things Thai. Have fun.
Nepal has limes only not lemons but the limes are called lemons over here. I was surprised at first when I moved to Australia and lemons were named limes.
I mentioned this before but I say it again, Phuket town is so spotless clean even with the night market stalls are being set up, Kudos to the people of Phuket 👍👍👍
Well done Adriana…I feel like it’s impossible to be strict vegetarian if you are eating street food in asia. So many things cooked in broth or mixed with meat oil, hard to tell. But when you are easy going about it like adriana, and remember you are the one making the rules about what you eat, then you don’t have to stress, + can just try your best! And enjoy!
"I absolutely loved your video! As a Thai citizen from Phuket, I really appreciate seeing content like this. Please keep making more fun videos! Phuket has so many amazing places for you to explore, but do keep an eye on pricing-some food in malls or certain local restaurants can be a bit pricey. I'm so glad you enjoyed your time in our country, and you're always welcome back to Thailand! 😊"
I noticed jn asia many say lemon for lime and in Mexico too, limon means lime, i think they mostly grow + have more limes on hand and use them in place of lemon
Loved thius guys! but it made me miss Thai food even more! I recently did a street food crawl in Makati, and it’s always fun to compare the different flavors and experiences. Keep up the great work with your travel vlogs!
35 degrees Celsius with probably high humidity is very hot. I think you guys are way ahead on your videos if this was filmed during Chinese New Year. Great video. I always enjoy watching the food videos.
In Mexico, they say limon to refer to limes noting that limes are widely used in the cuisine. But the European Spanish translation for limon is lemon. But no one says lima to refer to the the lime fruit.
And this is why I love you both, wow can’t get over how cheap food and drink is in the old town of Phuket. As a vegan I will have to pre check 😂. Great stuff guys and very enjoyable 😊😊
I’d suggest chillva market if you wanna be able to walk around and enjoy yourself. Sunday night market is a sea of Chinese tourists mostly. And all the vendors from chillva go to Sunday night market anyways.
Hi guys. Yes, lemon and lime have the same name in Thailand and Laos. It's more of a classifier for sour citrus. An orange is a citrus but has different name because it is not sour. Keep up the great content. Love you guys
Some Thai people misunderstood lime with lemon for west plants. They use English dictionaries word book or from google translation directly lemon which not same plant type species to replace Thai lime one.

Pity the 15% off is only off the FULL price. I just tested it & on the pair of shoes I picked it was actually $16 MORE after the discount than if I'd bought them direct with the discount that is already on most items (i.e. not with your link). I think I'd be having a word with them!!.
Let me explain about Lime and Lemon in Thailand. Lemon and lime are both Manow (มะนาว) in Thai, but both were marketed as Lemon in Thailand. Some people called Manow as Lemon and Manow Luang (มะนาวเหลือง) or Yellow Lemon as Lemon. While some are just using Lemon as Manow and Lemon as (Actual) Lemon. You got me? lol

Yup lemon and lime are interchangeable in some asean countries, depending how it’s taught and marketed. It is very clear to certain people.
And lemons aren’t grown in tropical climates. Limes are able to.
