@@FordyRuns Yes, very happy with them. Had I waited a bit longer, I would have gotten the Maxroad 5, which I'm still considering as a more cushioned shoe.
Good Review! Just got a pair of These and fully agree regarding the midsole. Feels little bit to firm and low to the ground. Unfortunately this video is too late for me. Will use them as sneaker and perhaps some track work on tarthan.
I love the Maxroad 3 and the Gorun Ride 7. They (plus the Razor 3) are amongst the best running shoes I've ever had (10 years of running, tried multiple running shoe brands and models). I skipped the Maxroad 4, and a bit disappointed with the GoRun Ride 8 (although I did wore them up to 600km...). Now confused about whether to get the GoRun Ride 9 or the Maxroad 5. Thanks for the review, looks like I'm more certain to get the Maxroad 5 now.
I don’t know if it’s because I’m a heel striker, but these felt like I was running on a block of wood. 😧My knees hurt so bad after running in them (only did one run). Do they just need to be broken in?? They feel nothing like the 7s.
Great review. Skechers_GOrun_Ride_9 is the worse shoe for me. The heel bevel is to steep inword and you land on the M Strike area and as a heel striker I crash land every step. Very bad for my knees. This model is wider than the Razor 3+, softer but more dull. Avoid if you heel strike.
I have 4 pairs of the Ride 8, I totally love them. I definitely see myself trying other Skechers models.
You should!
I m running currently with these and the run is AMAZING
I’ve had earlier versions of this model & really liked it! Digging my Razor Excess currently 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Those excess rock
