I didn't love the Hyperarch insole so I swapped it out with another one. I agree though. This shoe is super comfortable on foot; the Hyperburst midsole is buttery soft but bouncy and it's lightweight. This is going to be a very underrated daily trainer for those who don't want to break the bank. It's US$125.
The arch fit insoles seemed ok on my left foot, but uncomfortable with my right foot. They need to ship the shoes with 2 sets of insoles,1 set of ordinary and 1 set of arch fit😁
@@stephenrees1110 I've used them with some old Hoka insoles and the arch feels less extreme. However, I've recently put the original insoles back and I like them better now. I don't know if I've gotten used to them or if they've broken in a bit.
I really enjoy Sketchers. Haven't bought any in a while just because I've got so many and New Balance Rebel v2 is such a great shoe at good price I've been sticking to those.
@@chriscummings9387 I'm into my 4th pair. With the rebel v3 coming soon, they are cheap here too. I found that Nike streakfly which is also cheaper has that nice soft feeling rebel v2 has but is even faster. Forget which sketchers max road version it was, 2nd or 3rd, but it was so nice and soft nice a sponge.
The midsole feels slightly softer than the midsole of the ride 9. Didn't get on with the arch fit insole. Personally I feel that if skechers are going to continue with the arch fit insoles, then they should sell the shoes with 2 sets of insoles. Once I had swapped out the insoles with my ride 9s,they felt awesome 😁
I really liked the GRR8 and the GRR9 is even better. The 8 went over 500 miles, 800km and the 9 is also wearing like iron. Great shoes. I use them for mid distance runs, 10m-1/2 marathon, 16km to 21km. Can't wait to try the 10. The 10 also has the carbon H plate wings doesn't it?
Have owned more Skechers GoRun/GoBionic running shoes than any other brand. I loved (most) of the shoes (particularly GoBionic ride, GoRun 4, GoRun 5 and GoRun Ride 7), but got so annoyed with getting hold of the shoes in this country (the Skechers shops don't stock the GoRun range, the website was awful) and after a couple of disappointing shoes (particularly the GoRun Ride 8) I've moved to Reebok and Puma
How does it compare with Ride 9? I read it sumwhere that they are using the same midsole outsole setup as the 9s, is it true softness and comfort wise?
Looks a good one Fordy but it’s all about the MaxRoad 6 for me this year! Any idea when we might see it!? Thanks again for all you good work on our behalf. 👍👏
@@heyman4899 hey hello there. Oh ok thanks for that. The MaxRoad 5 has been impossible to get here in the uk for at least a year so not surprised that the 6th version will be some time away yet!

Absolutely love Skechers runners!
Great review and I’ll definitely test them out, keep up the good work Fordy! 🤩
Thank you!

In the UK newbalance outlet stores have the Rebel V2, if that’s any help to you, for £65 I’ve just picked some up and agree they are awesome!

New Zealand - we don't get Sketchers Performance shoes here at all ... sad really
Do you see any difference b/w Go Run Ride 9 and 10? if YES which is better?
10 for me just love the rocker with the softer feeling hyperburst
@@FordyRuns If Go Run Ride 9 is available at 40% cheaper price, Is it worth to buy this shoe instead Go Run Ride 10?
Just sent for a pair from Running Warehouse on super sale for $87.46 until September 23rd.
between the gorun ride 10 and gorun razor excess, which one is better for long distance running and overall comfortability?
Ride 7 still the best from series, Ultra Flight midsole still the most comfortable midsole from Skechers
Good revièw as always...is this the same as the 9?
Fantastic video Chris would you recommend the shoe. looks like a great looking shoe
Thanks Penny!

How would you rate these for long Sunday runs? Trying to get hold of maxroad 5s but can't get them anywhere??
I had version 6 & very much enjoyed it. Good looking shoe!
It’s very comfy
Fordy, would you rank it as superior to the Puma Velocity 2? Same niche of shoes in the market. which is a better running shoe? Thanks.
for me it is this but due to usage ... this is the shoe I just slip on if I am falling out of the door
good overview.. I didn’t get along with the razor speed 3 a few years ago (when it seemed like everyone else was), and I have not returned since..
These are like slippers
I *LOVE* version 8, I'm still rotating 4 pairs. Skipped the 9, I might need to try the 10.
Number 10 is a winner

Just a sweet sweet ride
I’m going to have to stop watching these reviews Fordy, otherwise I’ll not have any money left for a mcPlant burger!
Great overview as always 👏
Totally agree Chris.....I've not eaten for a month as my budget is also blown...
Skechers go run pulse is a must-have
Super

Hi bud I’m betting on September but let’s see
Max Road 6 is not gonna be released until 2023 (Skechers told Conner/Runningwarehouse)
