3½ years with a Fearful avoidant. She got triggered, deactivated and broke up. And then she rebounded 26 days later with a complete random polar opposite guy. Meet him the first night she went out. 11 months since the breakup, 10 months they are still together. Yes to the public display and yes to lightning fast intro to her family. We'd both been single for almost two years when we meet. We were together for more than a year before we even told our kids about our relationship, 1½ before the intro and going public on facebook. From the first meeting with the rebound to "in a relationship on FB", 2 months. Crazy. Have lost hope, but sadly not my feelings for her. Still sooo painful, every day.

What about a rebound to someone they already knew. A friend of the family but not someone they hung out with or anything. Just someone they knew as kids but never romantically involved
What if you dated your ex, then stopped because communication style didn’t align. Then reconnected 2 yrs later, start dating and 7 months in he confesses that he was dating someone when we started dating again but he left her for me? He still is unable to fully be present as he’s a fearful avoidant I’m learning now, that an ex hurt him badly by cheating and he now says he’s never been able to stay with anyone. He still wants to be friends but I’ve stopped reaching out, it’s just making me miserable as he will not meet up with me to really talk. In my opinion he found someone else to be with, he can’t handle difficulties in a relationship since he avoids vulnerability 😢. Am I the rebound if I met him a few years ago and he left his last girlfriend who he says he was about to breakup with anyway?
I had just ended my rebound, when I saw ex and she made like she wanted to give us another try, a month later she had a new boyfriend that she's moving way fast with. What's funny is she says she wants to go experince (was very much a shut in for most of it up till me) and she's gotten with a couch potato! She even went off with me as friends for New Years and didn't see him for 2 weeks (he lives 2 hours away and I live very close by) this weekend she had him come and stay the whole weekend with her, like she's over compensating
We've been in 8 year relationship. I was 19 and she was 17 when we met for the first time and our relationship was full of moments and good times. We went on trips, vacations, dinners and we have same hobbies. We also adopted a dog that I still take care of. The last year was kinda rough, there was a lot of arguments for stupid things.. and eventually I wanted from her to take a break for a week to settle things down. Then a week later I realized she is already meeting a guy that was her friend in a college and told me how everything is perfect with him and there is no arguments etc.. Is that the typical "grass is greener" and "rebound relationship? I tried to fix the things up for 1 week but she ignored me. She still keep everything from me and our pictures are still in her social media. I am so confused at this point because she is just behaving so immature. I am in no contact for 2 months now.

Just do you and work on yourself. If you were good to her and had good memories she’ll be Back she probably left you for a little reason that the other guy did better than you and she hold on to that. She may tell you she moved on but you can’t forget all those good memories and a good guy. Iv been going ok no contact for 5 months since she broke up with me and three weeks of being blocked when I asked her about the guy and how she got in a relationship so fast and she told me she moved on. She moving pretty fast with him since she already moved in with him just within 2-3 months.just be wrong bro and keep me updated
@@keithbrown2425 It's been over 5 months now and I am in no contact. She never reached out, but I am perfectly fine. I've met another girl and she is gorgeous. She behaves like a grown person, she have a well-paid job, she is intellectual and we are both contributing to this relationship. I can assure you that in time you no longer will regret the breakup. Even if she reach you after months/years, don't be delusional to enter that trap again. She will play with you and use you as a supply because that's what narcissist do. Time heals everything and you gotta know your value! Go to gym, read books, work hard and do your favourite things in your life, the right person will come at you.

My Husband was having an affair and has left me to live with his mistress, it has been nearly two years so I assume he is not coming back. He has put in for a divorce now so I believe he will come back. It would have been 37 years we would have been married. He goes on holidays and introduced her to his family. I just want to know if he will ever regret what he’s done and come back to me. I have hoped for so long.

@@remyd1984what is the difference? explain how the results are different? seems to be 2 different starts with the same endings due to not taking time between, but i’m not sure.
@@h7pubg the person who rebounded is just lost and hurt so jumps straight in to hide the pain (still morally a good person) the person who monkey branches has no moral’s because at the very least was emotionally cheating! The rebound to be fixed and worked on. The monkey branch should be let go forever imo
@@remyd1984the only real difference is with monkey branching you got to know the person a little more than a rebound. But you can monkey branch into a rebound. Like for example for bf you with might be a little soft hearted and you find a guy that’s maybe tuff and you talked to him for a bit and monkey branched towards him and left your bf because he had something you were more attached to. But your boyfriend was really good to you and you both had a good relationship.

My ex gf got married like in 2months. We broke up in June 2023 then she got married in August 2023. I was with her for 1 year and 6 months. How can she move on so fast? Same thing happened when l saw her at her workplace, she kept saying that she’s in a better place a lot of times when she was talking about her rebound lol, l know deep down she’s not in a better place.
