In this vlog: It's 1st December and we're excited to open our advents! I am working from home with the lurgy and I am making plans for our backyard chickens in "flockdown".
This Little Wonderful Life is where I share vlogs about our daily family life, home organising, crafts and adventures living in the south east of the UK. A normal family of four, in an average house, living a normal life. Making the best of this little wonderful life we have.

Advent calendars have certainly evolved over the years. When I was a child you opened a door to a Christmas picture then my children had chocolate ones. Our granddaughter has a Playmobil one this year.
That little drop of Wonderful is so good. I am not an amigarumi maker but I need to make some for my family. x

She’s from Australia! She has a lot of little amigurumi for free . Dragons, dinos, an octopus and *drum roll * A LOBSTER!! He’s so adorable!!
Give her a look. I think you would love it! Her octopus is the best I’ve seen!!

Always love seeing your Vlogmas. Also forgot to tell you how much I enjoyed your October vlogs and back then meant to tell you thank you for letting us know that Dr Who was on. I have it on record but would not have thought to look at my recordings if you hadn't mentioned it. Loved the little drop wonderful and little lobster. Been making your little drops of wonderful for my granddaughters for Christmas. Hope all of you get to feeling better.

So sorry you're all not too well, hope you improve soon. You're doing a great job with the chickens and I have bought the feeder today for my girls as its a great way for them to pass the time. If you have a local food shelf, (or a grocery store) sometimes they have to throw out food (free) that your chickens might enjoy. My mom worked at a food shelf and was constantly bringing home food destined for the landfill. Those were some happy hens! I would love an eglu if I were to only have a couple chickens. I look forward to seeing the bigger run.

Thank you for taking time to put a new vlogmas series up for us! We wish Phoebe speedy recovery and same for you! I love cold winter but it comes with snotty nose and other messy “ presents” . I see now why one needs an advent calendar full of presents to compensate for the not so cheerful part of winter: the cold. May you have a rest of advent in good health, peace and joy! I love how you keep even the chicken entertained! They seam very happy. Joy to the World!

It is so lovely to spend Vlogmas with you again this year! We used to burn Advent candles like the one you have when my children were young. On year on the first, we lit it and forgot about it, and it burned right down ! Luckily I had another, so on Dec 2nd we lit the new one --- and did it again!!! There was no Advent candle that year. I do hope you are feeling better!

I feel your pain in having to work from home when you'd rather be at the office. Currently at my office we have no internet access so we've been sent home to use our own internet for work. It's especially annoying for me due to my cat who is fascinated with what I'm doing. LOL
