    TIP: Before inverting/removing, plz. do wait for at least 36 hours so the the pot get dried up.

      How many hours before i remove in plastic molder. Mine was 24hours then it stucks and igot hard time removing it

    Very informative. I am trying some small candle holders from cement . I like the technique

      Penny Yokubaitis Thnx for the Interest. yaa you can remoister your pot by adding little water the next morning, followed by another morning. not need to wrapp. also if it is cold or rainy season u need not to moisten the pot.

      Namita Prusty Thankyou so much. Wooden frames can easily be prepared at home , but only with the help of proper tools,. Without tools it is not possible.

    So helpful I used the same process but 4:1 ratio it's came out very easily but the outside not so finishing as yours I think the cement layer after oiling not touch all the space I make 4 very big size pot using old bath tub all are looking so good thanks for your video (Q- can I use immediately after 4day in rainy season?? )

      Jonathan Gordon Yaa (Amigo)/bro Sand will work but you need to add more cement to it, to make it strong . cos sand particles are small.

      lu lu thnx for the Interest,. Stone dust is similar to sand but its garvel (particles ) are larger then sand.

      Vala K sir you must wait for atleast 20-24 hours so that cement pot become hard and mature. invert on some soft cloth. any other problem or question ask any time.

    what is the time interval between applying the cement inside and then removing the mould . Means, after how much time have we to invert the mould and remove the pot . immediately or allow to dry.

      Vaishal Desai you must wait for atleast 1-2 days generally 1 day is sufficient and let the content dry., then invert the pot mould on some sack or cloth.

      @@stellanion5794 I think you should apply lubrication oil (like refinfld oil or any engine oil) before putting cement mix. Then wait for 20-30 hours depending on season there eg winter or summer. and lastly remove by thumping slowly slowly al around the mould. Or you can watch the video one more time. Make sure your mould should be flat from the bottom.it sould not have legs.

      Firman Juli thnx for the interest. plz. wait for 2-3 days as the cement dried up , it will shrink and u will be able to remove it quit easily.

      Ya after 2 days it should come out easily if not coming easily plz invert the pot and make it strike softly in up and down movements. Plz make sure the plastic pot you use dont have bottom supporter inside it near bottom.

      aditi kamath Colour depends on the region and river,. Some river carry morang and some carry sand. And yes you can use sand too, to make Cement Pot at Home.

      Ejaz Khan yes bro it is strong enough. The pots you buy ready made they made @1:6 . But if you want you can also take the mixture @ 1:4.

      Preitty A Sangma I dont think it will happen because cement is very fine, it wont stay on the walls as it release excess water from it. If you dont find morang use some other substitute like stone dust or even you can use sand. Also if you create pot with only cement it will be must costlier.       Pat Glenn , It is a building Material its(morang) particles are larger than sand particals around 4 times larger. It is found in river Betwa in India. but you can use sand too.. but it will be better to use stone dust or morang.
