When the Shiva theme started, you kind of know that you're about to watch Ysayle's last moments. She kind of grew on me during the journey through this patch, just like Estinien. And that "NOOOOOO" from Alphinaud was heartbreaking for me.
No tears for those two dragons at 1:39 ? That so loyal, they obey their father's (Hraesvelgr) order to the death. To give Ysayle more time for her transformation. Fare you well, mighty dragons..
God, the little details are so good - like the pained smile at 3:00 when she sees you escaping and is sure that the Garleans are shooting at her now, and not you.
I love so much about this cutscene. From the badass music to Ysayle coming back after her loss to Ravana, how she flew in on the wings of a fucking dragon god and had wyverns shield her as she fell, the fact she skydived into the fight, and the fact that it ended with Estinien, a character who began as the standard overly-serious and generally miserable modern FF character, showing off his character arc by displaying a powerful respect to the ultimate heretic which is special because a character arc for one of those characters is almost unheard of in modern FF.

Shiva is the most iconic and OP summon in Final Fantasy history and you can’t change my mind.
I was gonna lose it if Shiva didn’t use Diamond Dust. Fortunately she does in the primal fight; unfortunately she uses it here 😭😭
May not be able to change your mind but I will still propose a counter-argument:

This scene broke my heart, as i loved Iceheart, but the thin that made me laugh for a sec was the useless Wyverns. Why were they there exactly?
+Kaiba Yoshiteru From what I can tell, they were there to act as meatshields so that Ysayle didn't get shot down by the ship's cannons before she could transform.
