I know this is probably weird. But I respect the way you speak on your sponsor. That was a really straight forward, honest, no fat overview of their services versus cost layout. bottom dollar is by far my favorite primary in the whole game. Glad it's getting the love it deserves.
I honestly don't find stability to be too important. I play on controller, and with the low fire rate bad recoil isn't a huge problem for me since it's still completely controllable
For those who don't want to suffer through Gambit, you can craft the taken handcannon since it's also a void 120. At base, I'd say Bottom Dollar beats it in stats.
When using the origin trait of the taken HC though, it has better stats than Bottom Dollar

xur had a hammer forged, accurized, rangefinder, explosive payload and range mw about a year ago and while the handling definitely needs targeting mods but you can 3 crit out to like 46 meters and it just feels good.
I thought it had subsistence instead of rangefinder. Or maybe he had two

The roll was HFR, or Smallbore/Accurized, or Alloy Mag/Subsistence/Explosive Payload/Stability MW, and I don't recall Xur being bugged back then with changing rolls. I suppose I'm wrong though, if other people are claiming otherwise.

I’ve got an Outlaw/Iron Grip/Flared Magwell/Range Masterwork Steady Hand, and it absolutely crushes in crucible, especially with Dragons Shadow

I remember getting an absolute beast roll as soon as it dropped on beyond light, Fullbore,accurised, i think it was rapid hit and multikill clip and using it for trials very underleveled and dominated, it had like 45 mts of range
It's funny, the stats he has with slideshot active are nearly identical to my igneous hammer's stats (literally just 1 stability off), and it has quickdraw + snapshot to give it good handling too.
The live comm is exactly what I needed ngl this is the gameplay I prefer
I have a roll with arrowhead, accurized, range mw, surplus, explosive payload. I love it! Wish it was fluted but 5 handling isn’t a big deal. A max handling roll with slideshot would be beautiful tho.

side note:: You should do random DIM videos- play any gamemode, but just randomize the loadout. it would provide alot of content for you, and let us watch alot of different rolls that you saved. Even offer an explanation as to why you may have saved the weapon. Just an idea. Love you wallah
I have pretty much the same roll on my Bottom Dollar ( Corkscrew/Fluted - Magwell/Extended - Slideshot Explosive - Stab MW) but I really can't get used to how explosive payload feels on a HC. Every time I whip out this roll I just feel like I whiff a lot more of my shots compared to my Round Robin or Targeted Redaction/Crisis Inverted ( 140 I know but I love it )

My Bottom Dollar carried me through the 120 meta when they adjusted Trials. I have like 144 kills on it and most of them are from my first time playing Trials seriously. I believe mine is fluted, maybe accurized but might be flared, surplus, explosive payload. Love that gun
Should I use 120 in iron banner? Or use a 140
got a hanner forge, accurized, range finder, explosive payload I also glitch it with a adept range mod. that's 100 range, I also pair it with last word and lucky pants. its amazing
They really do need to bring back steady hand, idk why they ever took it away in the first place outside of reusing it as content lol. It could've stayed in legacy focusing.
Been coming to this video since it came out just to reference the roll you considered in your opinion was best. We’ll just about an hour ago i got hammer forged / corkscrew rifling, accurized rounds / alloy magazine, rapid hit / slideshot, explosive payload / opening shot. Handling MW and I use the targeting mod instead of quick access sling. It only took me 5 Gambit resets! Been using it and mannnnnn do I love it. I see myself using the opening shot over the explosive payload. Thanks for the vid wallah
Same! I grinded gambit for two days and two resets later, I got a roll with small bore, accurized rounds, surplus/slideshot and wellspring/explosive payload and a range masterwork. My only wish is it has opening shot instead of wellspring but this thing is beyond a 5/5 godroll lol
I have a slideshot opening roll that’s pretty solid. But I just crafted RR so I’ve been using it a lot 😂. I’m also on controller so I feel like I don’t slide mid fight as much to make full use of slideshot
Yeah that one specific spot on rusted lands sends you flying for no reason in you slide into it.

After seeing that 50 matches video I went and focused some BD and got one w/ fluted accurized slide and opening with a handling mw. It works well.

Bottom dollar is a great feeling gun but suffers from being a gambit weapon and a large perk pool

+25 handling from enhanced rounded x2, And +25 more from the handling boost on grapple. + flinch resist and AE. Use the woven mail exotic helmet and camp your points and you’re an absolute menace to society.

Big dawg, keep grinding. Your third column should be Surplus. Fixes the Handling problem, Range at 70 is PERFECT with Explosive Payload, Quick Access Sling as your Mod.
I have 8k kills with Bottom Dollar, and have been using it since 120s was dominant with small damage perks. I know the recipe.
I'll also say this roll assisted me with the new Trials emblem. Stasis and Strand users rejoice as each charge counts

One of the bright sides of being someone who plays mostly PvP and a fair chunk of Gambit, is that I have multiple personal god roll Bottom Dollars. I even have a 6 perk selection roll that is amazing imo. I have always been a big fan of Bottom Dollar. It has a good "feel" to it.
I got the pve roll sub and explosive pretty solid but falls off when you have to reload
