@@hudl3r618this gun truly is mid in normal PvP tho unless you mean you told people about this in checkmate? It’s kind of a double edged sword because you can max out your other stats and focus nothing into your abilities but then you truly are going to have no abilities throughout the match. Honestly tho if you’re on dawn with Icarus dash this is worth it

Ive said it before and I'll say it again - if this gun had Keep Away in slot 3 instead of 4 I would never take it off. We were on the verge of greatness. We were **this** close.

Well rounded my friend. I have high ability uptime, this handcanon likes it when you have no abilities which I'm cool with because the weapon just feels ss+ tier. That with well rounded increasing stability handling and range with keep away is a dueling beast
So glad to see people finally using the origin trait. Its so good and basically always up since you usually start gunfights with your abilities. Idk why people immediately dismissed it as if saving your abilities did anything other than waste energy.
Youre supposed to use your abilities when you need to close a fight, open with advantage, recover from disadvantage, or escape. You shouldnt just be tossing up abilities for the sake of it. And some setups like Titans who arent ape shotgunning, it can be hard to just burn your melee charge without throwing your life away. Even then, youre running 100 in whatever stat is your class ability, so at best, the origin trait works for 30 seconds. Realistically, it works for 10. Youre also trying to run stuff to get abilities back, which is counterintuitive to how most ppl play Destiny where you want to have an ability for at least half your battles, and in a perfect world, youd have an ability for every battle
@SuccimusPrime sounds exactly like someone who doesn't know how to utilize the weapon. I.e void titan. You run with obershield barricade for team. Use void spike to block off an area and go the other way. Use shield throw or shield bash movement. That's uptime on the weapon making it feel phenomenal, keep a shotty/fusion for rushers.
Correct, it's really good in a setup of secant void lock as well. Spike nade for zone control, you use your rift for devour and child of the old gods, and your melee can help you get devour with a final blow. Meanwhile, you get the benefits of the origin trait while you cycle your abilities and keep devour running
I didn’t even think of using this HC for checkmate, but it’s lowkey gas.

I've been using this as my main hc since it came out. Striker titan chucking grenades to keep well rounded up. Thruster to try to play fast and burn all my abilities to keep up undated hunger. So fun
I'll say this. After the mid season patch, perfect float is gonna be goated for this gun. Up to 12 seconds of flinch resistance and increased AE. Can't wait to use it when that patch hits

Now that I think about it unsated hunger might be amazing if you run a triple 100 resil/recov/mobility build since you won’t get your abilities back often while having perfect neutral game.
Could be super fun if you love nothing but gunplay.
Could be good for something like arc hunter and just run full neutral on fragments and aspects.
I just love how it looks, it almost looks like you have Memento Mori on it.
Targeted Redaction has quickly become my favorite legendary hand cannon. It looks amazing, feels crispy, and has slept on synergy between Well Rounded/Keep Away/Unsated Hunger. I use it with Gyrfalcons and the volatile rounds add even more lethality.
It's amazing on hunter if ur going strand, you could have 40 AE with the gun only (while having 88 range, 50 stability and 71 handling), no aspects no exotics, (and if you just build up with it you can enjoy it better than a decent 3/5 igneous hammer)
Try using it with fluted barrel, extended, well-rounded, keep away, handling MW

I said this thing was fantastic when it first came out. Bungie had it bugged out and having the exact same recoil pattern as spare rations. It was so good.
I say this a lot but I really like these play by play commentary videos, as well as your Rumble videos which have become a lot rarer recently.

Bruh run this (or any energy slot primary with well rounded) with strand hunter. Use navigator and threaded spectre/maelstrom (or use the grenade aspect instead of spectre if you wanna swap out navigator), grapple, ascent, cyrtarachne, and that one fragment for tangles on kill with woven mail. Could be insanely strong in the right hands
when the crafting glitch was happening i was rocking this with slideshot keepaway, it was so nice
same, was actaully hosting private lobbies with "legal" craftening weapons. pretty much same frame weapons but with perks that would make them better like ammit with kill clip, slideshot round robins, etc

Grapple activates well rounded from neutral and grappling again to your grapple point while on Hunter will give you well rounded x2 with keep away and thread of ascent it makes the gun feel great.
Proud to say i recommend this hand cannon in checkmate 🧐

This used to be better when you had the Spare Rations ornament on. It would change the recoil pattern to a lightweight frame. When I tried it in pvp, it was oddly good. When they fixed it to keep the Aggressive frame recoil pattern, I haven't used it.

I cant use this gun anymore, i used to love it ane get decent kills with it but the sight is bugged now and there is no red dot 😂 ive crafted the gun multiple times since then to fix it but it still isnt 😢

Monte Carlo + Peregrine is filth in Checkmate. Monte Carlo by itself is mid, but cheesing your melee back after a kill to access Peregrine while your opponent cant use nades/strand bs/stasis bs to stop you is pretty wild.
Juest use the trails hc.... you can get 80 rang add adept mod and keep away for all time 100 rang..
Or get 100 base rang

Just pointed out a big issue with the game mode which is how everyone is slow and clunky with low ability regen while warlock has insane mobility advantage due icarus dash cd being out of the whole equation

Honestly like, so much setup just to have to compete and lose to Igneous, especially old igneous with something like elemental capacitor, it’s sad to see but igneous is always gonna be the best hc (energy at least if u don’t think in general) until it’s power crept out of that spot

@@Trevoroxx old igneous with elcap was fucking insane, my old one had, fluted, ricochet and elcap on it and on void it was 60 stability on arc it was 100 handling on solar its near max reload it was wildly good
@@Trevoroxx old god roll. Old igneous with elemental cap and perfect stats/adept mods could hit 90 range, 60 stability and 90 handling all at once, and that’s just with elemental. Combo that with like rapid hit, or killing wind, and it got even better. Old igneous is absolutely insane. New one is too, it just can’t get the levels of handling as the old one (which imo is made up for with the accuracy boosts of keep away)
well rounded roll is goated with my ozy build as I always lead with a nade. Stasis builds are so easy to get T40+ as well, mine is, 90/50/100/100/40/40. As much as i love wallah, don't listen to him. he's not a build crafter😂

Not sure what it is about this gun but it feels like dogshit compared to other 120s like igneous or malediction
could be the fact that any new or returning gun of this season has a experimental deterministic recoil like bungie mentioned a few twabs ago. basically new gund recoil predictively which make them much easier to get use to and learn. unless this the deterministic recoil is rolled out soon to all guns the new weapons will continue to feel better than past guns. its why everybody sweard by the seasonal hand cannon kept confidence.
