Haha. My pleasure! I guess I could have gone with Onionskin paper for max crinkle...but I don't like how fat it makes the lines look. Also, it would be too noisy.
Hi Shak. Nice video and a beautiful LeGrand. How would you compare the feel of this LeGrand to the others in this collection and others in your collection? Which one do you prefer for writing? Thanks.
Thanks! I would say that this solitaire is quite a bit heavier even compared to most other Solitaire versions. The nib is typical Legrand medium nib...quite stiff . I feel like a BB nib or OBB is best suited for the heft of this pen, and I'll send it out accordingly. I personally prefer the gold leaf Solitaire with a flex nib the best out of all of them. Out of the 100 anniversary...I prefer the doue because of the nice cap. None of them are as awesome as the 149 though 😀
@@Shak-MD I agree with all your comments especially about the awesomeness of the 149. The Solitaire is beautiful and so is the Doue although more practical for daily writing but if they don’t release any more 149 MST 100 then it will not only be a great pen but a very unique one. Enjoy.
Hi Shak, thanks again for a mesmerising video. I wonder when you are letting the lined paper go. And go freestyle on a blank page. I'm sure it would suit your style. All the best from Norway
Thank you so much. I feel like I still the rules to follow. When I write on blank paper, my profession is revealed :D :D I do have some cotton paper that has subtle striations, not lines, I may try. Like this: ua-cam.com/users/shortsslpmXPRGefg
Thanks. This is French (séyès) ruled clairfontaine 90 GSM paper. I got it from Renaud Bray in Canada. I'll leave the link where I recently purchased here. Love your video and review, thinking to buy the same pen with fine nib
I sent mine for a nib exchange as well 😀
You have the fine nib now?

Nice review! Is this pen and nib closer to the size of 146 or 149?
It is based on 146.... but the pen is about size of 149 due to metal. Nib is 146 size
@@Shak-MD Thank you!
