I had this problem with a guitar.. didn’t have nut files . So dropped down a gauge size . Went from 10”s to 9s. Huge difference. Will try the torch tip cleaners .. good tips thanks Jake 😊

I can already see it is not intonated...the nut is likely binding...a couple more wraps on the tuner post might also be helpful
