    TRANSLATED LYRICS!
They don't know what I'm talking about
    Dirty clothes bro', muddy
    Yellow cigarette between fingers
    Me with the cigarette walking
I'm sorry, but I really believe in it
That I can make this leap
And even if the road is uphill
    That's why I'm training now
And good evening, ladies and gentlemen, out with the actors
    You'd better touch your balls
You'd better be quiet and good
People here are strange, like drug dealers
Too many nights I was locked out
I'm going to kick them through these doors
    Look up like climbers
So sorry mom if I'm always outside, but
I'm out of my mind, but different from them
And you're out of your mind, but different from them
We're out of our minds, but different from them
We're out of our minds, but different from them, ah no
Me, I've written pages and pages, I've seen salt, then tears
These men in the car and don't climb the rapids
I wrote on a tombstone "There is no God in my house"
But if you find a sense of time, you'll rise from your oblivion
And there's no wind to stop the natural power
From the right point of view, you feel the intoxication of the wind
With wax wings on my back I'll seek that height
If you want to stop me try again, try to cut off my head because
I'm out of my mind, but different from them
And you're out of your mind, but different from them
We're out of our minds, but different from them
We're out of our minds, but different from them, oh
    Speak, people unfortunately speak
He doesn't know what he's talking about
You take me to where I'm afloat
That I miss the air here
    Speak, people unfortunately speak
He doesn't know what he's talking about
You take me to where I'm afloat
That I miss the air here
    Speak, people unfortunately speak
He doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about
You take me to where I'm afloat
That I miss the air here
But I'm out of my mind, but different from them
And you're out of your mind, but different from them
We're out of our minds, but different from them
And we're out of our minds, but different from them, ah
    We are different from them

Damiano gave an interview recently where he talked about his stage personality, and how it's him, but yet not him. It's him without boundaries, pushed as far as he wants without limits. But it's dropped as soon as the last beat of the last song is done on stage. Because if you don't go back to 'normal' as soon as possible, then it hits you harder when you go backstage, and the lights and the applause are gone. And all that's left for you is leftover and cold pizza because the vendors are already closed by the time you get out of the dressing room.
( the entire interview is actually pretty interesting. It's Allison Hagendorf talking to Damiano David)
Another thing he mentioned is how all four of them share the same manager, assistent, crew, stylists... and it helps keep all of them in line, because none of them want to be the 'bad guy' who is asking for too much, and taking away from the others, and then get 'bullied' by the rest of the band for it ;-)

I’ve GOT TO check out that interview! He is so spot on as far as I’m concerned.
A lot of my time in radio was spent back stage at concerts as we’d do interviews and go on stage to introduce the bands and whatnot. So many times I’d see rockstars bring their stage personality off stage with them. They’d eventually become that intolerable person. 🥲
Don’t get me wrong, the stage personalities contribute to the experience but could you imagine being around that version 24/7? Yikes.

You'll never regret falling in to the Maneskin rabbithole, lol. I discovered my two new favorite groups in 2021, one was a kpop group called Stray Kids (check out Megaverse or LaLaLaLa, they rock) and the other was Maneksin. the first time we've ever watched Eurovision, and they came out and killed it. it was like everyone else was at a talent show, and they were just at another gig. Such a tight group. I got lucky this year, i got to see both groups in concert and they are up there on my top 5 concerts (and i've been to a lot of concerts the last 25 years, almost all of them rock). My husband and I were teens in the 90s, and I was raised on classic rock, so that's what I tend to. Maneskin in concert is 100% the whole time. It had me wondering if this is what it felt like to hear all the classic rock bands that I grew up on when they were first starting out.

They're currently managed by Fabrizio Ferraguzzo who has worked with them as a producer ever since they started out, and still produces for them to some extent. They've said they consider him a friend. I can also only hope that they'll survive the dark corners of the industry and time will tell how working with friends works out for them. I'm always a bit sceptical about that type of arrangements, but it can also be an advantage.

Loved the reaction! They're so, so fun, especially live. After seeing them live, I feel like we're seeing the beginning of something that will become iconic for years to come, and it's so exciting to be here for the ride, considering how young they are still.
I liked that you mentioned their stage personas. There's definitely a lot of that, especially for vocalist Damiano, who's a lot more introverted off stage. He's mentioned in an interview before that the stage is like its own little universe, where limits are mostly off, but that liberty is over once the show is done. Real life is a different beast entirely, and one can't normalize the stage, or the fame. It's not normal, it's a privilege. And once you're done with a gig, every roadie, every production guy isn't there to serve you, they're your equal. I find it refreshing (and a relief) to know they think this way. Ego has killed too many careers before.
Can I suggest a couple of my favorites? "La Paura del Buio" and "Amandotti" live are both spectacular. As for the english songs, "For Your Love" (also live) and anything from their Glastonbury set last year is worth a watch. For heavier stuff, "In Nome del Padre" and "Lividi Sui Gomiti" are also excellent.
Just saw another reactor doing "Kool Kids" live in London and that was great fun! The live energy is electric.
Keep up the good work, I'll look for the other reactions you've done to them in case I missed any! Thank you!

Awesome info! Oddly enough, they seem really humble once the stage lights go off. I’ve watched some behind the scenes tour vids and they seem like a solid group of level headed friends which is insanely impressive… especially when you see how many rockstars become their stage persona full time.

Thanks for reaction handsome 😁👍😘Måneskin (Danish pronunciation [ˈmɔːnəˌske̝n]) are an Italian rock band formed in Rome in 2016 and composed of Damiano David (vocals), Victoria De Angelis (bass), Thomas Raggi (guitar) and Ethan Torchio (drums). the Danish name Maneskin meaning moonlight was chosen because Victoria's mother is Danish and it was an unknown word in Italy. they started their career playing on the streets of Rome, they are aged between approximately 22 and 25, they are all very young. They achieved fame in Italy at a very young age in 2017 following their participation in the eleventh edition of during X-Factor. The following year their debut album Il Ballo della Vita was released, containing the single Torna a casa, which established the group nationally, allowing them to undertake an extensive sold-out tour in Italy. In 2021, the second album Teatro d'ira - Vol. I was released, containing the song Zitti e Buoni, which allowed the formation to triumph at the 71st edition of the Sanremo Festival and the 65th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. The success at Eurovision allowed Måneskin to establish themselves on the world stage, entering various charts around the world. in the last one they won platinum records all over the world with various songs, they opened the Rolling Stones concert in California, and recently Mick Jagger declared that they are the best rock band around at the moment, they were guests of the honor of by Ellen Degenerist and other American and European shows, they participated in the Coachella rock festival and dozens of other important rock festivals around the world. they sang the song from the soundtrack of the Hollywood film about the life of Elvis Presley, they released the song gossip where they collaborated with Tom Morello. they have just recorded their version of Jolene in collaboration with Dolly Parton, their new album Rush was released at the beginning of the year and in the last few weeks they have released another five new unreleased songs, their latest songs are almost all in English, if you like listen to other songs, they are all beautiful and I recommend them. for those in Italian it is better to use subtitles because the texts are very interesting. thanks and greetings from Italy 😁👍🏻

I’m not gonna lie, I kind of wanted to stop reading after your opening line. 🤪❤️😘
I honestly was not too excited to check them out because (let’s be honest here) a LOT of European rock is very light and relies more on lyrical hooks that translate well in English than actual song style and presentation. Also, European rock has a tendency to be much more sexual in a man-on-man way which is fine (if that’s your thing) but just doesn’t grab my attention.
This hit me different. Their sexuality on stage is more of an 80s hair band vibe where you just never know what they might do. It’s decadence for decadence sake and I love it. I’ve nicknamed them Marilyn Dancin when I talk about them locally as they have that sexual freak vibe that Manson brought but their songs are upbeat high energy which works amazingly well!
That said, living 2 hours east of Dolly Parton, I avoid the song Jolene whenever possible. It’s SO hard to get out of my head. Someday I’ll check it out though. They deserve that! 😎🔥🤘

@@ReactionsThatRock I wasn't joking when I said handsome, I think you are, after all every man has his own tastes.😁🤷🏽 anyway I'm a 46 year old who grew up with American and English rock, to make you understand my favorite bands were Queen, Guns n' Roses, Metallica, Nirvana, Green Day and Aerosmith. I obviously also listened to Italian music and Italian music, unlike those who don't know it, is very different from opera or classical music which is usually the only one that comes out of national borders, Italian music is made up of pop, rap, classical and even singers. by many good rock musicians. in any case, Måneskin are something new, but they have the scent of the past, they are something particular and very interesting, their songs are all different and both the songs sung in English and those in Italian manage to be beautiful. many of the harder rock songs with strong lyrics are in Italian, such as "Nel nome del Padre (In the name of the Father)" and "Paura del buio (dear of the dark)". try listening to their works you will find dozens of very beautiful and interesting songs. kisses and hugs by Alessandro from Italy 😁👍😘

I honestly don’t think Italian rock gets the credit it deserves. I was a huge fan of Lacuna Coil back in the day and some of the Italian metal and goth is just phenomenal. Sadly, US mainstream like to push very formulaic bands. 🥲
I don’t listen to much radio anymore but I doubt Måneskin gets much play (if any) since they aren’t a traditional US sound. Also, radio is now designed to serve as mostly just commercials for concerts. You get played more when you’ve got an 80 date US tour.
