Sheff Utd Fan. It looks like it really is going to be an amazing stadium. What many clubs fail to realise is that the supporters take a pride in their teams stadium just as much as the team that they passionately support. Goodison Park has served Everton well, I hope the new stadium does too.
Liverpool fan: This looks fantastic. I love the traditional football stadium elements they are emphasising and believe this can only be good for the game as a whole, hopefully encouraging other new stadiums to go in this direction.
Inside it’s class, but outside it does just look like a generic bowl, and the various shades of grey cladding don’t do it for me (I’m a Spurs fan). This looks amazing, it’s a real statement of design style. If Chelsea build their one also they will be in a whole different league in terms of the stadium aesthetics imo.
Came for the clickbait… but honestly I love the design of Everton’s stadium. I’m a Spurs fan, and the commercial revenue Levy is generating is great. But the stadium on the outside could have been so much more. The inside is good though, especially the south stand. It’s great to see Everton actually getting something to be proud of, after so many years flirting with Tesco tie ins moving to Kirby etc. Personally can’t wait to go to the stadium when done.
As a city supporters I didnt twant to leave maine Road but you have to move with the times and it's nothing less than the Everton fans deserve great fans loyalty through the bad times the good times will come has they have at city ctid griff
Im a Brentford fan that travels to away games, and i am looking forward to going to this new stadium as soon as we play Everton at the new stadium, aslong as we are still in the Premier league that is
Sheff Utd fan here: Initially thought there's no way the Everton new stadium can possibly be better than the Spurs stadium. However you make some good points, which opens up the discussion. I'll wait until it's built and operational before deciding. Looks something to be proud of though and will be the stadium used in the Euro's instead of Anfield.
There are a lot of hollow boasts in this ill informed video. The stands at the Tottenham Stadium have varying angle and the one used in the comparison, is the shallowest. However, its angle is already very steep and isn’t significant relative to Bramley Dock. The South Stand ‘wall’ exhibits the steepest allowable angle - it was a design consideration. Furthermore, the footprint of stands themselves were designed to sit as tight to the pitch as possible. No other modern football stadium has achieved this, by design; Arsenal has a perimeter buffer whereas West Ham has a solar system. Those stadiums feel like classical ‘bowls’ whereas the Tottenham Stadium actually has internal right angles to the pitch. It IS a completely different experience. Overall, I don’t follow the logic of what apparently makes Bramley Dock “better” ? 🤷♂️ There’s reference to relative cost - but, so what? There’s reference to concerts - but again, so what? There’s also mention of the sliding pitch - guess what, so what? None of that influences the football match day experience. What Tottenham has built is multipurpose. But where it’s at another level is in how Levy didn’t make any compromises, in persist of that aim. That is why the price tag was so high, but also why Tottenham now has such a quality end product. What they’ve built truly elevated the standard and it is for others to now match it. PS: I am a stadium enthusiast and member of SSC. I have no affinity to Tottenham. I assess buildings on their architectural merit.
The new Tottenham Hotspur stadium is a superb modern arena. I’ve haven’t seen anything like it. It’s a complete new build from scratch. It also has the large club shop in Europe.
I've always said, it's not that Leeds or Everton have more passionate fans than other teams, it's that modern stadia aren't built with acoustics in mind. Which is crazy when you think that every theatre puts acoustics at the heart of their design. Elland road has a low roof that reverberates & amplifies the noise of their fans & you can see from the design images that Everton will have a similar roof. It's going to be amazing!
Not sure mate. Went to white hart Lane away last season and it was seriously loud, and outside almost silent. It was as if all the sound was self contained in the stadium.
@@Napoleonicwarfare That's really interesting. Maybe they've learned lessons from their North London neighbours as The Emirates is often cited as a ground that doesn't provide a great atmosphere?
Went to the lane and it was very very loud. Cleverly constructed to amplify noise especially from the 19k south stand. Had chills for the full 90 minutes, not even joking. It was only a fa cup 4th round against Brighton.
@@dwaynedibley997 Whether they did or not, I think 4 individual stands, each one with side-walls were acoustically amplifying. As I said, every theatre ever built has considered acoustics.
One of the main reasons some Bundesliga grounds create great atmosphere is that they use safe standing (rail seating) for domestic (though not UEFA) games. Everton's Bramley Moore stadium will have the same in place in the stands behind the goals before a change in FA legislation. This along with the steepness of the terracing and extensive roof covering may make a crucial difference in the capacity to generate noise.
The main reason they make noise is because of their Ultras groups who basically see fan support as a job .. highly organized highly coordinated... spontaneous chants don't really happen everything is controlled by the Capo
@R&S At Hajduk, the North Stand has ultras but where I sit in the East has not but still creates amazing atmosphere (also our stadium is no standing) ua-cam.com/video/U5gzX1EDSuU/v-deo.html - East stand Feyenoord has no capo also
Spurs stadium is one of the best for atmosphere. And because the stadium can host different events it means it makes more money which means it has an influence on spurs finances. Rules r changing in football which says clubs can only spend what they make. Evertons new stadium will make next to nothing compared to others affecting what u can spend. The future of football is multi use stadiums and everton will have an out of date stadium before it even opens
Absolute nonsense comment. Everton’s stadium will host just as many concerts and boxing events as Spurs stadium if not more, except, Everton’s main design is focused on football. Not focused on NFL and Harry Styles. Cheers
The reason why Everton have more season tickets than Liverpool is because Everton can’t sell corporate seats they haven’t got the same fan base as Liverpool , I have been on a season ticket list at anfield for over 20 years and still nowhere near getting one ,the new stadium looks nice but goodison definitely has more character
That is not the season, yea Liverpool have more corporate seats but that doesn’t add up to how many extra season tickets we have. Your stadium is way bigger than ours but you give out around 7000 less season tickets than us just because your owners are greedy
Nothing to do with that mate we also have 22k on our waiting list for ST and obviously at a brand new stadium we will have plenty of corporate seats . LFC are greedy there not interested in working class local fans they'd rather charge £350 for a £50 ticket by including a cheesy b& b room with the ticket and get 7 times it's value hence why the atmosphere is crap it's full of tourists . UTD can sell more corporate than anyone they still have more than 50% of tickets for ST holders so locals can go the game too. Your ground holds 54k at present you have 27k st ours is 31k st 39k capacity. Man United have over 50k st just checked so I rest my case the most famous club in England has a 20k bigger capacity than yous and 25k more st than yous. So when new stand is finished are the releasin 8k new st no there not cause there greedy fuc7ers . Capacity will be 62 with 27 st that's wrong they don't have 35k corporate seating mate I know I live 200 yards from ground there greedy simple as horrible bas7ards they are fu7c the locals who made the club .
That's why Everton fans can get tickets even though every game sells out cause we put our local fans over the corporate and let's face it a lot of them are tourists paying £350 for a ticket hotel combo cause the owners care more about that than they do over having the fans who put them there .
Great explanation as to why this stadium is going to be epic. Football fans across the country will be envious of this arena. Everton are going about this properly, it’s great to see. Can’t wait to see the stadium in the flesh.
The Dell was an atmospheric ground for Southampton back in the day, I'm a Liverpool fan and I would go to the Dell in the seventies when I was in the army in Dorset, it was a cracking atmosphere whoever Southampton played
Been to goodison park a few times when Middlesbrough were in the premier league, Everton have a good set of loyal fans and deserve a new stadium, hope they stay up and do well in the new stadium
Im Millwall & although a modest 18.7k -The Den will more than rival it in atmosphere. Even my Everton supporting old mate from throughout the years agrees with that one. Funnily or not the Us & Everton might be set to meet again next season. Hopefully in the Premier League as we are going well & Everton should stay up. I look forward to this “Dockers Derby” when it comes round. Gotta say Everton’s new home looks fucking amazing. 🦁👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I have just made a similar comment and I am in my 7th decade of attending Millwall matches. But after 30 years from The OLD DEN,I miss that Stafium every day where we broke The Home League record by going 59 games unbeaten and that was partially due to fans on all 4 sides being right on top of the pitch, mostly standing. Good Luck.
millwall is the deadest atmosphere i have EVER seen. it was just a bunch of simpletons being really quiet and a few teenagers sticking their fingers up at the away fans. seen better atmospheres at costcutters

Awful team, club and supporters, second in every respect to your mighty neighbours and Liverpool are also better than you as well as Tranmere..lol Most of the Millwall boys are banned from The Den but they will be at Bramley Moor when you, finally, do fall. The OLD DEN had a better atmosphere than Barcelona said several Fleet Street Football Writers. Congratulations,in advance, of finishing 17th..
I hope they expand it to 63,000 . I’m certain that they will fill it. Fitting home for an historic club and like my club one of the 12 founder members of the football league ( I’m a Derby fan ) .

Where are they going to add 10,000 seats? They could add many rows to the smaller end that has the big tv screen but that looks like it will only add around 5,000. Are there gaps between the back row and the roof of the other 3 stands so there could be space to add more rows all around the entire perimeter, I am just curious.
It'll be sad to see a grand old stadium go such as Goodison. I've always had a soft spot for Everton, though the designs for the new stadium does look impressive. 👌 as a spurs fan, I've seen us move into our stadium, admit the atmosphere isn't as good as the old White Hart Lane
White Hart Lane was fantastic, we should have stayed, spent the money on the team and we could possibly have a couple of recent trophy's in the cabinet.............
@Harry 1561- I am a Spurs fan and the atmosphere at old WHL was crap, once standing was outlawed. It was pretty good with the old standing shelf, but to be fair not against the Kop, Stretford End, Roker Park and the old Elland Road. Plus we are effectively still at WHL lane in a larger stadium, which we sell out and 38K was never going to enough and we would have been left even further behind.
@@QuotidianStupidity Nearly every PL team is already 100s of millions in debt .... and Spurs top the list because of the new Statium costs. .But I get your point. It is an improvement over the old ground.. and it is in the exact same location, whereas Arsenal, Man City and now Everton moved to a new location
The Millenium Stadium in Wales which is my personal favorite in the world. Everton seems like its borrowing from that a bit. but i think the cherry on top for Bramley Moore would be a retractable Roof, Then you would really feel the Roar of the Crowd.
I’m surprised no one else seems to want a roof, even Wembley, and they want to host events like boxing or live music. Millennium stadium is very unique in that regard
While our stadium was designed purely for football, the reason we're moving is purely financial. Criticising clubs for making money which at the end of the day will all end up in the players pockets seems pointless.
I was trying to work out what Spurs stadium reminded me of. As soon as you mentioned the US and then seeing it decked out for NFL,,,,It soon became obvious.
Great passionate content, I agree wholeheartedly with everything you say however some teams in US of A are down sizing stadiums as a way to increase demand & push ticket prices up.
Yes .. I always wondered why NFL stadia have lower capacities than the biggest college stadia - which are huge. I always thought it was because of amenities and corporate and press box facilities etc. needed at NFL stadia. The college stadia are just bowls full of seats, whereas the NFL stadia seam to have lots of other stuff that reduces maximum possible capacity. Most of the NFL stadia are are still very large though.. bigger than most EPL grounds!
A bowl does provide overall better sight-lines of the pitch. Thats why they are popular, but more expensive. As every seat is angled towards the centre circle. In a traditional stand if you are on the goal line of a sideline stand you spend most of the game with a twisted neck looking at the majority of the field.
Spurs stadium was not simply 'dropped' into North London...its remains on the original White Hart Lane site and includes materials retrieved from the old stadium...while no modern stadium can avoid some corporate compromises, most Spurs supporters love the new stadium and the atmosphere that is generates...
The reason Tottenhams new stadium is in the middle of north London is because it’s were we lived over the past 120 odd years and Everton are copping Tottenham with the south stand
That wasn’t a criticism it was a fact. The video is comparing the 2 stadiums, location included, if you think me mentioning that Spurs’s ground is Tottenham is a negative thing then that’s on you, and kind of says it all really.

Spurs/Enic built the stadium this way to diversify and generate different revenue streams because without that a club cannot exist financially..Do you really think in this day and age that this is not a great strategy?? 2 points I’d like to make are 1. You didn’t keep the old buildings on the dock because you wanted to it was because you HAD to as the engine house is listed so restoring it was a must. 2. Anything can look great in a CGI format.. I’m sure your stadium will be great if you want a bog standard stadium but compared to the spurs stadium it’s not even close and yes it’s located slap bang in the middle of north London BUT it also sits on the same site as the original white hart lane and as a fan that’s important to me..
Don’t agree. Spurs Stadium works as a corporate bowl AND a sell out stadium for the local community. I’ve stood in the Park Lane and the atmosphere is phenomenal. And hopefully sampling some prawn sandwich hospitality too soon. BMD looks like a great stadium and will do its job. But it’s gonna have corporate hospitality too. But it’s not going to me a major income driver like NWHL, which is a Swiss Army Knife of a stadium, looking for capital from NFL, boxing etc... As for the spaceship argument, Tottenham is a hole and this is a lever for London gentrification. That’s an issue for the local Tottenham dwellers of course. In time, it’ll bring the area up. And hopefully still retain Chick King. There are plans for the development of High Road West to further improve the area from WHL station to stadium BMD does look a great stadium. It’ll suit the Toffees
Agreed, it’s almost as if the largest single tiered stand in the U.K was ignored for some reason and there’s no mention that the Everton Stadium will need to make money just like Tottenham’s Stadium…………from hosting concerts to other events.
Its right, the soul has been lost in stadiums, newer steel stadiums. I think Everton, ticketed prices will rise naturally, fans coming in last minute rush so less build up of atmosphere. It will take time to readjust, to break it in.
I've said this from the moment the stadium was announced. When you look at the season ticket waiting list at Everton I've no doubt we could fill 60k every week. Why should the likes of West Ham or even Tottenham have bigger grounds then Everton?
As a Southampton supporter , miss The Dell yes a small stadium but had soul and noise and always full , now looking at St Marys it has lost all that ,,, should have made it 20,000 at the time with the idea of adding more seats down the line ... never full now and even the most honest Saints supporter has to agree lost its noise etc ....
We’re talking about atmosphere, stadiums and fan-bases. Not two nothing results the last 2 games, your ground is a sell out NFL stadium, your chairman cares more about creating an NFL franchise, your manager doesn’t wanna be there and won’t last the week, Kane desperate to go this summer, Son is finished and your atmosphere is awful. Thanks for watching x
Well you’re wrong and you have been duped because not a single seat has been added to the stadium yet, they are still building its structure. The seats won’t be added until 2024
Tottenham is a super stadium...but, Players cannot comfortably take a corner kick on the pitch....and I think it was even worse at the near completion stage and some modifications had to be made !
Are you totally mad? I am not a Spurs fan but even I know how the Spurs’ stadium is built for football. The stadium is not a bowl. Have you been there? The steep Dortmund like supporters end . The closeness to the pitch. My god I think you really need to study the THFC ground. Remember when you are in the stadium you cannot see the outside. I am really looking forward to see EFC ground finish. Remember where the ground is, it has to blend in. You don’t show pride in your stadium by bashing a great football stadium. I spent years watching the videos on THFC being built. I am now watching the videos of Liverpool’s new stand, Everton’s new stadium and WAFC’s new stand. The only problem I can see with Everton’s new ground is that its next to a you know what. I hope that can be sorted. So stop being so negative about an opposition’s ground. Just be happy you are going to get a great stadium. So cheer up. 😀Remember life could be worse, you could be a QPR supporter. 😓
I’d go halfway with you here because Tottenham do have one stand based on the principles you talk about but the other points you make are brilliant, The problem for Everton is the distance they’ve slipped in the last 20+ years . The new stadium is wildly better than West Ham and it’s better than arsenals .
Everton FC are the first and senior club of the city of Liverpool. When Everton left Anfield after building it and moved to Goodison, they tried to get a team together to continue playing at Anfield but no one was interested. They tried to call this team “Everton Athletic” but the league denied it as there was already the original successful team Everton that had existed long before, by default the league name the secondary afterbirth team “Liverpool”.
The video is comparing the two very different designs and how they compare and contrast. Real match-going football fans don’t care about the financials, they want the best stadium
I know I’m not knocking your video but you said Everton sell more season tickets than Liverpool the reason for that is Liverpool don’t want season tickets holders because it’s less revenue because it’s less revenue per seat and that’s all it’s about
Can we compare "greatness" to simply how much capacity a stadium has? I tend to think that Spurs is the best-looking stadium in England. I have no doubt that Everton's will be speculator too when completed in 2024, but it's still classed as a small stadium in comparison. I think it will be the second-best looking stadium in England, but due to the gargantuan size of Spurs' stadium, it will always be number one. Wembley is nice too but it's just so generic.
@@darrendickens4287 72,000! Are you kidding? The council, under safety grounds, would never allow such a restricted site to hold that many. Many fans are _gullible._ The structure may at a squeeze hold 60,000, but the site precludes such a capacity. Safe standing in the UK has a seat in each space. Each space is numbered with a ticket allocated. Safe standing does not increase capacity.

Really nice stadium, some good ideas... but i don't understand why they let this wide open space behind the roof, especially in potentially, cold weather cities, it let the cold, especially the wind, enter the stand via air streams I was once at the San Mames stadium in Bilbao on a REALLY cold ( and rainy) day, and was impressed how the closed roof covered the cold wind, you didn't feel cold at all in the stadium, same thing when i saw a game in Munich Many stadiums have this problem in potentials cold countries: they don't "block" the cold wind enter the stadium, and i still don't understand why, maybe because the architects never go to popular stands to see a game...or never go see a game at all in a stadium
It doesn't look "open" to me. Looking at the pictures I think there will be glass or plastic screens. O I think it is effectively an enclosed space, and the only way the wind can get in is over the top and down through the roof opening, which probably won't happen. The prevailing wind is from the West - off the sea.
It is a nonsense to call Tottenham’s stadium a soulless corporate bowl. It was designed to have the fans close to the pitch and it has an incredible atmosphere, it helps the club to maximise other sources of revenue but it is first and foremost an incredible football stadium. No doubt Everton have got their design right as well but if the brief is to have the fans close to the pitch, that idea was inspired by what Tottenham has done not in spite of it.

Not counting cup games a club has 19 days of football out of 365, that's about 6% of the year. Spurs have events all year round that you don't even know about that brings in millions of £££. That doesn't affect or impact the match day experience for Spurs fans. The stadium atmosphere is brilliant and the bars, food malls and bands inside are open for hours before and after the game.
I genuinely think the spurs fans are the friendliest of all other fans. I don’t think I’ve ever read a nasty comment. Hats off sir.

I’m sure you’re stadium will be a wonderful place to play football, but trying to denigrate the Spurs stadium is just daft.
It’s a contrast and comparison to the 2 different designs.
The new Tottenham Hotspur stadium is a superb modern arena. I’ve haven’t seen anything like it. It’s a complete new build from scratch. It also has the large club shop in Europe.
The old white heart lane ground was one of the best grounds I've ever been to for a closed in atmosphere.
It's going to be magnificent. Only a year until it opens.
Your comment makes no sense because back in the day they wouldn’t have considered what acoustics even meant when the old stadiums were built..
Imagine tripping and falling down those dangerously steep terraces! The Everton fans will break every bone in their bodies and become amoebas! 🤣🤣🤣
Yeah now they will be able to hear the boos even louder
@R&S At Hajduk, the North Stand has ultras but where I sit in the East has not but still creates amazing atmosphere (also our stadium is no standing)

@@saraprva4172 Yes Hadjuk and Feynoord are great but the Germans are highly organized they can't seem to do it without Ultras
Cheers
The atmosphere in the Tottenham stadium is woeful
12,000 extra capacity will generate plenty of extra cash.

“World famous dockland”
It may be in liverpool but no-one else has ever heard of it …
Looks like a brilliant design, most new stadiums suffer with out of town soulless locations, but I actually think this one will be perfect
It’s taken a long long time to find a location. They’ve been looking for around 20 years, but hopefully worth the wait
#noonecares
How do you know, you haven’t sat in it yet 🤦♂️

The Millenium Stadium in Wales which is my personal favorite in the world. Everton seems like its borrowing from that a bit. but i think the cherry on top for Bramley Moore would be a retractable Roof, Then you would really feel the Roar of the Crowd.

While our stadium was designed purely for football, the reason we're moving is purely financial. Criticising clubs for making money which at the end of the day will all end up in the players pockets seems pointless.

It's usually bowls that have no atmosphere but I've never once heard a tottenham complain about it. I think they pulled it off.
A bowl does provide overall better sight-lines of the pitch. Thats why they are popular, but more expensive. As every seat is angled towards the centre circle. In a traditional stand if you are on the goal line of a sideline stand you spend most of the game with a twisted neck looking at the majority of the field.
Just a shame they won't have the likes of Southall, Ratcliffe, Sheedy and Sharp to play in it...

As for the spaceship argument, Tottenham is a hole and this is a lever for London gentrification. That’s an issue for the local Tottenham dwellers of course. In time, it’ll bring the area up. And hopefully still retain Chick King.
There are plans for the development of High Road West to further improve the area from WHL station to stadium
BMD does look a great stadium. It’ll suit the Toffees

Really nice stadium, some good ideas... but i don't understand why they let this wide open space behind the roof, especially in potentially, cold weather cities, it let the cold, especially the wind, enter the stand via air streams
I was once at the San Mames stadium in Bilbao on a REALLY cold ( and rainy) day, and was impressed how the closed roof covered the cold wind, you didn't feel cold at all in the stadium, same thing when i saw a game in Munich
Many stadiums have this problem in potentials cold countries: they don't "block" the cold wind enter the stadium, and i still don't understand why, maybe because the architects never go to popular stands to see a game...or never go see a game at all in a stadium
It doesn't look "open" to me. Looking at the pictures I think there will be glass or plastic screens. O I think it is effectively an enclosed space, and the only way the wind can get in is over the top and down through the roof opening, which probably won't happen. The prevailing wind is from the West - off the sea.

You’ve missed the point of the video.. I’m saying Spurs’ stadium design had a big focus on NFL/events/concerts.. Everton’s design - whilst still having big plans to host concerts/boxing - is purely focused on having best possible modern football ground.
@@terryfinnegan I think you’ve missed the point too, regardless of what goes on at the stadium, when we go there to watch football it feels like a football stadium and you wouldn’t know what else went on, it doesn’t affect the atmosphere or the match day experience.
@@Bertie22222 Again.. it’s not about what else goes on there, it’s the design that is flawed in comparison. The build of the Tottenham stadium just being bowl shaped like any other generic American type stadium with no regard for acoustics, tradition or dimensions that magnify intensity.. this definitely affects atmosphere in comparison with a stadium build which has incorporated all of these into their design
@@terryfinnegan you make it sound like the new ground will be fantastic because it’s focus is for Everton football club and I’m saying that when I go to Spurs I don’t see any other reference or focus on anything other than football. If you weren’t told it had other events you wouldn’t know.
@@Bertie22222 You would instantly know the difference if you were to look at the difference in design in contrast to Everton’s new stadium.. which is what the whole video is about
Yes, with one unique flaw. The capacity! When people talk about Spurs now they say they are a big club due to their 60k capacity. BMD will only be 53k, which will eventually be the 10th lowest in the PL. you say, we have a waiting list but they want to keep numbers down to increase atmosphere. What business turns people away? Dan Meis said he wants to restrict capacity to make it the “hottest ticket in town” Wtf does he think he is? New York? He’s in North Liverpool. I’ve written to Dan Meis many times & asked one question “does he think Everton are a bigger, smaller or the same size club as Spurs” he blocked me! I just don’t get the Dan Meis love in, he’s killing our club.
It can expand in capacity with rail seating to 62000 if required but let's not get too ahead of ourselves just yet!
I can only think of 6 grounds that will be bigger...arsenal spurs west ham Liverpool Utd and City...who are the other three?
@@RickyBrownsword Do the MATHS lol
He said 10th LOWEST meaning 11th place so 10 years are higher, according to him, which means another 4 teams
😀
10 "teams"
Don’t worry about having the 10th lowest in the PL, instead rejoice in the fact that you’ll have the largest stadium in the Champo🎉🎉🎉😂
Good point!
To compare Liverpool season tickets to Everton is stupid. It just says Liverpool club have corporatised anfield more with hospitality tickets and members tickets. They make way more money per game than season tickets which are lowest revenue value ticket per game.
Liverpool have 70,000 fans on their season ticket waiting list.
Everton new stadium will be corporate too have to pay back the spend
It’s not stupid.. Everton sell more season tickets fact. The fact that Liverpool’s owners have made Anfield corporate isn’t something to brag about, the atmosphere is appalling most games at Anfield now, they’ve sold their souls and it’s sad to see.
I’m not bragging about it…just stating facts 🤷🏼♂️
My point is Liverpool could have 70,000 season ticket holders, they just don’t because the club make more money through hospitality. It’s an American owner scandal for local and passionate reds fans…
Also as I said that will happen at Everton’s new stadium
Spurs stadium a soulless bowl? 🤣
Emirates stunning.
Etihad after extending behind the goals stunning even London Stadium hammers fans are growing into it
Emirates is about as stunning as a giant turd 😎
I have a few fans that are Everton fans and they keep saying how they want to stay at goodison cus the history
Best thing is Anfield will very soon be the poor relation in the city
I hope this will kick us on to challenge for the big trophys 🙏
😂😂
😂😂😂
love it
It's gonna be a stadium to be proud of, no doubt. But it's not Goodison.
Liverpool could sell all their tickets to season ticket holders during covid. The tickets for these reduced capacity games when football opened up again had to be sold to local fans, due to travelling restrictions. Instead of selling tickets to local people Liverpool cash in on tourist fans. Despicable club , despicable players despicable fans.
Without doubt, it will be a Great Football stadium ... yet you are moving away from the area of Everton!
The words of your song "If you know your history" will sound very hollow now!.
I don't think k efc sell more season tickets than lfc
It’s fact, they do. Google it.
Season tickets...they do.
they do, the majority from the Merseyside area, around 75%, compared to approx 16% at Anfield
@@terryfinnegan Liverpoo fcl don't want season ticket holders on grand scale ..they want tourists match day dough ?
@@roadend78 ..and there lies the problem
If you close your eyes you can hear West Ham fans crying... 🤣
Lad ....theres no better atmosphere than Anfield , especially on a European night , granted v's burnley , fulham etc its quite subdued, but when we turn up , the atmosphere is rivalled by no body , your new ground look great, but youll still not come close to our atmosphere, i swear ur like the little brothers that f%ckin annoy you , and want what weve got 😂 atmosphere comes from our hearts , and , our special stadium is recognised world wide , miracles happen there and we play our part , still in our shadow lad no matter where you move 2 👍 but still mate 🫶 hope yous stay up , premier league without the Merseyside derby won t feel right lad
Gary, you can try be as convincing as possible by starting your comment with “Lad” to try to kid me that you’re from Liverpool, but like most match going Liverpool fans, you and them are not from the city. I’m mates with many Liverpool fans who have been to games this season and say it’s the atmosphere is the worst it’s ever been, it’s full of tourists in full kits and socks and desperate to take selfies during the game whilst not knowing any of the songs, the stadium has been described as an absolute freak show. In terms of a raw, genuine atmosphere in a proper football ground Goodison Park just can’t be beaten.
The location is only thing that this stadium will have over the Spurs stadium.
Everton’s better on every single aspect. Watch the video again to see why 👍🏻
@@terryfinnegan
"Everton is better on every single aspect"
How about capacity?.
He mentioned Spurs new Stadium is "dropped right in the middle of North London", it is about 100 yards along Tottenham High Road, from where the old Stadium was, in fact there is a mark by the bar in the single tier stand showing where the centre circle was on the old pitch.
How far is it from Goodison to the new Stadium? I bet it's more than 100 yards.
And stop listening to this soulless bowl crap, fans make the atmosphere in Stadiums, and if you think it's "Soulless" in that new Spurs Stadium you are very much mistaken.
And if you are going to spend hundreds of millions of pounds building a new Stadium surely it is only sensible to try to utilise it as much as possible, instead of just being used for 30, maybe 35 days a year?
But i ain't going to argue about which is better, if you are an Everton fan I can understand how proud you must be feeling, just as I am with the new Spurs place.
@@daneelolivaw602 If you were to actually watch the video you would understand how it has absolutely nothing to do with capacity..
@@terryfinnegan Sorry mate, but you said it was better in "every single aspect". Every single aspect would include capacity, don't you think?.
And I did actually watch the video, that's why I commented on the use of the stadium outside of football, because after spending so much money I think it's a good idea to use it to make money for the club, or am i wrong in this?, i am sure that is a good idea, don't you think.
What Spurs have built is a very special place, I'm not saying that this new Everton stadium is not just as special, to Everton or it's fans. But stop this, My new Stadium is better than your new Stadium bollocks, and just be pleased that you are getting a new Stadium.
@@daneelolivaw602 Every single aspect of the DESIGN. As the video shows, bigger capacity doesn’t mean better. If that was the case the best stadiums and atmosphere would just be in giant bowl stadiums like Wembley.. but they’re not.
You keep trying to say it’s better that the stadium makes more money from attendances or better because it makes money outside of football.. that’s purely financial.. none of these suggestions make it a better football ground than what Everton are about to complete.
It’s not a my stadium is better than your stadium argument, it’s a comparison of the two completely different stadiums. One a big corporate sports bowl, the other a proper modern stadium designed for football.
Very impressive!%%
stadium not stadia
Stadia is pural.
@@johnburns4017 exactly
@@johnburns4017 Well Corrected. It is good that someone has traditional , grammatical standards.
By the way, what is the Plural of the Pural you mentioned?...
Dont compare them its a good stadium but not to the level of the Tottenham stadium 17000 single tier stand! And unlike ither new stadiums ours is closer to the pitch then any other , you mention the acoustic our stadium roof is designed to keep the atmosphere in ! Yours will be up there in the league but no offence its not as good as ours and thats a facts its a cheaper copy version! Also bang in the middle if london no its pretty much on the same site as whl in fact the stadium goes over the old stadium we are not gypsy to pack up the caravan and move to another site tradition is important! Also the capacity is very concerning for you lot why so low cant fill any. More??i think you should research more before doing videos our fans are practically on the pitch
Because they can fill it with illegal immigrants
