Did Tottenham announce how much money was generated for this game?

crazy that NFL games in england get higher attendance than man city does for their matches at the etihad.
That ain't really an achievment but alright

As a American Im genuinely sorry you guys got sent to see the Jets and Falcons . that was very very uncool of the NFL.
I believe the nfl always sends bad teams. if they wanna grow the fan base in Europe, they should send teams that compete yearly for playoff spot. The falcon have suck ever since they lost the super bowl and jets never had a winning season
@@vegeta9411 the nfl is never going to send a good game to london, they make wayyyyy more money by putting them in the united states. They could send a high selling game such as the pro bowl to test but i doubt any good teams will ever be sent, I mean we've tried a Uk version of the nfl
Better than the Jags game lmao
Very true, Mexico actually gets top teams like New England Patriots, Dallas Cowboys, Oakland Raiders, etc.

I was there yesterday and it really pains me to say this as an arsenal fan but it's an incredible stadium.
Better than the Emirates?

Don't worry, we have a great stadium and a shit team. It balances out.
As an American I have to say I love the passion you guys show for NFL. It would be a dream to see some premier league games in America for me. Also I kinda feel bad for the crowd because NFL is pretty complicated to understand. It took my several years to understand all the rules. Once you get it all it really is so much fun to watch. Also COYS! and 49ers!
i must say i'm loving learning all about NFL! it's quite complicated and i still have a lot to learn but it's definitely a fun spectacle

As an American Tottenham fan American football will always be number one for me. It's a great game.
For my local NFL team (Dallas Cowboys) it’s hard to find PARKING for less than $100. If you want to park anywhere near the stadium it’s gonna cost you like $300. Cheapest ticket for their thanksgiving game is $153 for a standing room ticket where you literally have to show up 2 hours early and SPRINT to stand in the front to be able to actually see the field. Then you can’t move or someone takes your spot. Just not worth it to go.
That’s the price you pay for supporting America’s favorite team 😂
@@Rickyfffff lol I guess so! Jerry Jones is a hell of a businessman
George, thanks for the vlog! Sad that you had to see the New York Jets play, but sounds like it was fun!
10.00 a beer is actually cheap compared to the 12-16 we pay in the states
In America they always let you have the beers in the seats
You should name this video ”How to get mugged by the NFL”….
ENIC you mean
The beers inside the stadium.
Try to get to Harlequins Big Game at Twickenham, similar atmosphere.
I've done that and it was fantastic (it helped that the game was a try-fest).
Not a bad shout. George???
It's crazy how can't drink beer in seats at a England football match. Hope they change that
i doubt its changing anytime soon, our fans and beer dont mix that well
If you wanna know why just Google hooliganism in the 1980s.
Hah that cheeky free pepsi 😜
Prices actually seem on par with most NFL stadiums. I'm from Jersey and Metlife charges an arm and a leg for food and beer.
$9 for a beer and $13 for hotdogs actually is a deal 😂. I unfortunately don’t remember exactly how much the prices were at SoFi, but they were definitely more than this.
Lmaooo at 5:24 was that not vuj behind you ??
yep!
Looks like a nice stadium. Do they serve budwieser for the soccer games too?
no , the locals do like dishwater . There is a brewery in the stadium that makes its own beer called Beaverton . Very good , plus its not soccer its Football
What song did you use for the intro
There is never anything free at any sporting event in America. Except if you sign up for a subscription you can get a free blanket.
Not true, Ford Field home of the lions often gives out free merch to first few thousand people inside the stadium on gameday
£72 for a standard ticket FYI
£72 for a ticket, £7 for a pint, £10 for a matchday programme, £9 for a hotdog...........how to get ripped off in London
Nothing compared to the prices for a BIG game in the US!!
Did you get your nhs app checked?
You Londoners need to perfect tailgating and save yourself some money!
We don’t have the car parks! Would love to experience this in the US one day though!
why do they go to the uk when both clubs are american
That’s an absolute rip off!
and when you include the overpriced food and drink…… it’s an extortion.
Go to an ATL home game...hot dogs and beers $5US. Nfl is gouging Londoners.
Man United D-Zone offence 3 to zero .
Never, and I mean never, root for the Jets. Unless you're a masochist.
I love how I couldn't get a ticket, but Nike gave two tickets to people who don't even know the rules lol
Because they're more known than you?? They were given tickets to show off the experience of an NFL game in england
No tailgates, but everyone socializing outside and having a beer is pretty nice.
$150 for nosebleed seats and 2 beers. sounds about right. At least they didn't get you with the $60 parking.
dont forget the 12 dollar dogs haha
@@imthepopcornman Parking? Apparently you have never lived in England....as an American who lived in England for two years if you drive to the game, good luck. You act like there isn't $10 dollar parking 3 blocks away. Walk, it's good for you
@@andrew348 I wish i walked as much as you do
diehard NFL fans in the UK usually leave the stadium and go to the hipperdome casino to watch 8 more hours of football which would tick on about another £20-40
George, as a Greek living in Atlanta and a Spurs supporter my whole life, I enjoy your match day vlogs, keep up the good work. If you are ever in the Atlanta area, a visit to an Atlanta United game is a must and getting to watch the Falcons in their own stadium, is a treat. I hope to make it to London soon for a Spurs game.
100%! The stadium looks unreal in Atlanta so I definitely want to visit at some point
Also live in Atlanta, lifelong Spurs supporter (North London born) traveled to London, great atmosphere but Jet fans definitely outnumbered us in volume.
I'd recommend it be Atlanta United instead of Falcons since they bring a better atmosphere.
@@hmmyes7807 the falcons havent been right since the Superbowl loss
i love seeing all the different jerseys supporting the game! awesome to see.
For a much closer experience to the EPL, you need to see a college football game in the US. That's where you see the ferocious tribalism, the traditions, and the chants. What's amazing about college football is that there are literally stadiums all across the US even in small towns you have never heard of like Clemson or Columbia that have 80-100,000 seat stadiums. I will say however, that Tottenham's Stadium is absolutely beautiful. Those NFL prices however, were shameful.
That's because most usa stadiums are built out of town while British stadiums are in the middle of cities, obviously roads and housing restricts the size of our stadiums. But we don't drive to games. Its a tradition to walk to a game in your own neighbourhood, not one miles away on acres of wasteland.
Tottenham fan here in California. I just happened to stumble across your channel. This was really done well and gave a thorough look at the NFL experience there in London…That stadium looks otherworldly. I would say your gameday prices might be better than here in the States. In any case…Spurs and Man U start up in a few hours (9:30 a.m. here). Let’s hope they get back on track.
LA Spurs fan here, let’s ignore the last part of your comment, but I agree I really want to make the trip to London to see a Spurs game soon. And yeah way cheaper than going to a Chargers game at Sofi, and when he was complaining about the beers being £6.50 instead of the usual £4.50😂😂A pint in an American stadium is like $12.50 lmao
@@fmita_ Yep…I was genuinely surprised that a pint was less than $10. Wish I could pretend that game last weekend never happened…

Let's be honest compared to Munich this was a dud the only reason they play in London is $
Come over to he USA when this Covid Insanity ends, soon hopefully, and go to an NFL game and experience the Tailgating scene with all the food and drink that fans prepare outside the stadium. Its like a giant back yard party only in a parking lot. You will find it at both NFL and major collegiate games.
I agree, I was in Tampa bay for an nfl game and there was so much bbq stands and parties happening around the stadium it was pretty awesome

It’s funny because it in Atlanta beers are like 5 or 6 dollars I think they’re probably like the cheapest in the NFL tbh
Awesome video! I'm American so it was interesting to see some differences, I couldn't imagine not being able to take a beer to my seat during the game
Not just the NFL, but any American professional sports game you’ll get absolutely destroyed trying to buy food, drinks, merchandise at the stadium. But it is cool to see the new stadium pretty much at full capacity for an nfl game. Good content as always George!
That's why as an American, I almost never buy any merchandise lol. I'll save for a drink and something to eat, but I'm not a material person I guess lol. Also, I love American Football, but I kinda prefer watching from home. The College Football experience in the US in my opinion is the most fun atmosphere in all of sports. Well, cheers!
@@tommyrex6648 I completely agree. I’m American as well. College sports here are easily the best atmospheres.
Not just professional sports... Same thing applies to even college footballs...

The stadium is totally full and every NFL game sells out immediately. .... it is almost impossible to get a ticket as demand is so high!!
This stadium is exceptional - the NFL field is on the bottom level, they have a soccer field that they slide over the top.
It was completely designed with both sorts of football in mind - right down to the player tunnels! ...
On NFL day, the teams come out through seperate tunnels like in America - on a normal soccer day, both teams come out, as usual, through the same central tunnel
It's a design masterpiece that honours both sports equally,
It's a case of "if we build it - they will come ..."
... And so they have!
$9 for a beer is so good I paid $15 for a pint at a baseball game a couple months back
seeing a lot of comments about how it's quite cheap here compared to america which is mad to me because these prices in our stadium for the NFL are higher than what they usually are by £2-3
You know what's mad? How up and down the UK, depending on where you are it's different North American sports that are popular.
I'm in Nottingham, nobody here gives the slightest fuck about the NFL. But hockey is pretty big. London = total opposite it seems.
is that david vujanic chilling in the back
bro this game was like a newcastle vs norwich
Great video...amazed how the fans are reacting to the NFL in the UK. I live in Phoenix Arizona, home of the Arizona Cardinals, who as of now is the only NFL team undefeated! 👊 They're stadium is about 15 min drive from where I live. So after viewing all the UA-cam videos on NFL London, and knowing that the NFL just signed a 10 yr contract to continue playing in London. Do you think if the UK got an NFL team permanently, the team would survive in regards to popularity, knowing that American football isn't that popular with a majority of the country?
The game will not only survive but thrive.
You see a lot of fans belongingto other franchise at London games. It's their only opportunity to watch live games in London.
You also get American football followers from Europe making it to London and some from the States as well.
If a franchise is established in London, you surely will get other teams coming to play there and the home fans, the visiting team's fans and neutral will always make it a packed event
@@RAJ-Jamcal Its only sold out because its one game. Trust me no one cares about the NFL in europe
@@jjbabatunde2773 You're wrong on that one. You do know Americans live in the UK and in Europe? You also know American football is screened on TV's in Europe?
Do you also think the shrewed Levy would practically build a stadium to incorporate AF in London, at great cost, if the figures don't point to such?
No one is saying every city in Europe should have a team but the interest is there and is easily sustainable with more than 4 games a year....
@@RAJ-Jamcal The stadium is owned by Tottenham and they sell out every game
@@jjbabatunde2773 I know, I support Spurs 😊 But majority of those going to the NFL games are not Spurs fans.
Americans travel from the US to catch the games. Americans across Europe and Europeans travel to watch live games.
Unlike NFL games in US which tends to be 2 sets of opposing fans, the London games sees all fans watching the game, regardless of the team they support.
Don't underestimate the taste for American football in Europe. It's obviously not going to meet the same demand as in the States
bro - was that vujanic in the back 😅
it was indeed 😎
That is a dramatic difference than what I just spent going to a NFL game here in America two weeks ago. Your conversion into American dollars for your total trip was way cheaper then what I spent on the tickets alone wich was $250.00 American. That's not including the travel expense, and the drinks at the event wich if your curious was an additional $80.75 American. Wich was a total of $330.75 American.
But thank you for giving the Insight of a UK NFL game Cheers
I imagine the NFL lowers the prices to promote more attendance and involvement. Here the prices are so high because people will still buy them lol. Even the Jerseys at the UK game were cheaper.
@@Pushingbuuttons yeah that's probably true especially with the jerseys. It seems like it would be worth going to a UK game especially with the cheap prices.
Here in the US that pint would have been 15 or 16 American so you got off easy bro.
Of course they jacked up the prices on things cause it's a "special" event. There are teams in the U.S. that are bad, and want to get fans in the seats and do deals like 4 seats and food for like 200 bucks. NFL teams are notorious for jacking up prices in the stadiums after teams win their division or the super bowl etc.
Love to see this behind the seen of the London games as a Falcons fan from America
Rule 1: Never go to a football game thirsty & hungry. ^^
for people who don't know nil this game is like derby county vs Watford
As a American it blows my mind that your not normally allowed to bring beer to your seat.
At rugby games/stadiums it's common place but football stadiums don't allow it due football fans turning into crazed lunatics after a few pints
As a Scot I was shocked to find I could not get a glass of wine to take to my seat in a cinema in South Carolina. I guess it's the custom, but you cab usually take beer to your seat at rugby games.
@@danielclitheroe1869 Thats more of a South Carolina thing the theater I live near let’s you order alcohol and take it to your seat
There is a hard salary cap in the NFL..Teams are not permitted to spend over the cap, which creates parity..There are many differences..If London had their own team, it would be bananas I think..
unfortunatley a london team would always be at a disadvantage. id perfer to see the NFL bring back some iteration of the European NFL that existed until the mid 2000's. that way the NFL can take that void of the second pro market that the XFL has attempted at in past years. and fill it with their own presence, and potentially even create a D league style system where practice squad and draft drops can make it to a league somewhere. young college kids can ditch school and go use their skills on the way to the NFL.
Honestly want to see a franchise in the UK. While I get the issues that come with it, I wont lie waking up at 9:30 for a game is a great morning. It works perfectly with most of the US schedule besides the West coast.
Out on the West Coast the first slate of games start at 10:00am and it´s great. NFL Sunday from 10am to 10pm.
😀Great to have this series back George
I love this
I keep hearing him say Spurs and I keep thinking San Antonio Spurs. Gotta remind myself soccer exists
Give us a premier league match and we'll send better teams!!

With the info provided, I can sure plan a potential trip accordingly....
5:35 why bhavs is so sad 🤣
Only thing missing is the tailgate. Bring your own beer, own bbq, save money.
Costs about the same to see a game in Buffalo!
its sad how expensive it is but its even more sad how expensive a normal "tottenham" ticket is xD
in germany if you go to like a bvb team which is cleary the 2nd best team in the league the most expensive seating ticket is 59€ (49 GBP) the cheapest 41€ (34 GDP) and the standing ticket i always get is 18€ (15 GDP) xD
in what world are your prices a "fair deal" for a team in the middle of the league xD i cant understand british football prices it rly kicked all the "old" fans out the stadions
I loved seeing all of the different jerseys by all the fans (even saw some Lions jerseys)
A beer in an American stadium is $12-15 you guys have it easy in England.
For the seats you got. It would be like triple the price for a jets or giant game at MetLife stadium (there Home Field). And it would cost more if you went to a home of a team that was actually good. Which is not the case with with the giants or the jet 😢🙃
You cant take drinks into the stands? Thats wild
Really surprised you cant bring drinks to your seat at a match.
In english football you cant. but with rugby you can. its very strange as I tend to go watch alot of rugby matches in the same stadium as a football match but cant drink alcohol at the football like i can watching rugby.
for reference beers inside American stadiums are 10 dollars minimum for all sports
You're a good guy and you said Nike paid but this is EXACTLY why I don't want the young to be fooled by The NFL Machine.
As you could see by the ridiculous prices, it's all about $$$$$$$$$$$$..
£6.90 for a Bud. £40 for a Scarh ??? £60 for a Sweater.
I wonder how many REGULAR fans will attend...
Sadly, the conversions line up to what it costs in the US. But there's only 8 home games a year so....
You can drink beers on the streets here in the States and Canada, so it's nice to see you guys have that freedom.
Trust me, if there’s one thing you don’t want with English hooligans is alcohol. When England came to play in my country, our authorities had like extra extra security around the city in case something somewhere happens.
American Spurs fan here, its great to see the NFL get more popular around the world I know there are lots of ads and its a bit stop and start but to all you English football fans I recommend you give the NFL a chance. Think of the game like a chess match not just people hitting each other. (:
@AUTUMNVIBES levy is shit lol I’m with u on that one
6.90 for a beer is a steal compare to here in the US.
Drink in the pubs around the area before & after the games, give back to the local community & pay less than £3.50 a pint.
No matter where the NFL plays, you will over pay and get screwed.
