actually I did the same exact thing to replace my bench seat with bucket seats. I used the original bench seat brackets and ran L channel steel to connect the brackets front and back. it made the best sense rather than putting holes in the floor pan and having to reinforce the area with double sheet metal. the last thing you want is to have seat mounting fail in an accident
Great video. I have those same seats that will be going in my 1st gen Dodge. I’ve been thinking about how I would mount them. Got some great ideas from your video. Thanks!
This is a great video. I have a '78 W150 that I'm restoring and I've been doing research about changing the seat.

Glad the video was helpful. Thanks for watching!
Great video and explaining what you guys did.
Do you sit closer to the door than you did before?
Do you sit higher than the stock bench.
Cheers eh!
I need this . Where are you guys located
How far does your custom frame stick out beyond the stock bracket?
What are the seats from?
What are the dimensions of the custom built framework?
Hey John. First, thanks for watching. Second, I can get the dimensions for you this weekend.
Would you happen to have those dimensions on hand still? Ik it’s been 3 years but I’m doing 3rd gen seats in my 75 power wagon
