"I see you in the dark, I know where you went. Go back there. I'll come find you." May be the most chilling and threatening, yet uncomfortably comforting dialogue I have ever witnessed. Can not wait for the release
@@nkosiroma As somebody who hasn't shot film, do you treat it like cine EI? do you shoot 2 stops over, and then pull down (when developing or in the grade) like you would digitally to clean things up? or is this just how modern 16mm film looks? You've got me very curious to learn more, and I'd love to get the chance to grab a coffee next time I'm in town.
@@colemoweryI usually shoot 1 stop over and process normally to get a denser negative, which allows for more detail in the shadows. Feel free to shoot me an email through my website!
Looks very interesting! When I read 16mm in the description I thought the teaser would just focus on a stunning cinematography but in addition the acting, the sound design and the soundtrack were highlights for me. I am very hyped for the final short! Another proof that its important to put money into production elements in front of the camera.
I’m glad you got more than you were expecting. This has been an absolute dream project for me to bring to life and I’m glad you’re seeing even a glimpse of the value we put it.
Im currently a freshmen at NYU Tisch using all of these digital cameras and people are always arguing about which digital cameras are the best. To myself I can't help but laugh because they want these 10 or 20 thousand dollar cameras (once rigged) and yet literal. 1-2k setup of a 16mm camera looks better arguably than even the high end ARRI cameras. Like yeah film is expensive but to get anywhere close to it digitally is actually exponentially more expensive.
Thank you for the kind words! We are currently setting up in person premieres for the film starting in Colorado where we shot it, followed by a few other cities. Following that it’ll likely go into festivals and then a wide online release!
This needs way more views
I agree! Feel free to share 🙌🏽🥹

Yes sir!!
you cinematic ACE, you.
We had a BRILLIANT team on this one!!
Let’s Gooooo🔥
This looks incredible! How did you get the 16mm looking so good?
A lot of practice to get exposure dialed and a good combination of low grain film stock (200T), proper lighting, and glass at the right stop.
