5:40 - 6:15 is my exact thoughts on Security Breach. I was laughing throughout that whole rant because that was absolutely what was happening during that time.
What toppings would you give Freddy in Space 2, Security Breach: Fury’s Rage, Freddy in space 3: Chica in Space, and Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2?
You purchased a video game, just to hack it to pieces like a scene from a horror movie, and put it on a pizza, which you proceed to throw in the damn bin. I understand it’s expired, and I absolutely agree with all the points you have made, ESPECIALLY about security breach, but if that isn’t a testament to this series in it’s entirety, I don’t know what is. 😂
You know, I think I know a better topping to describe FNAF AR. Gold leaf. The people that can afford it might view it as enhancing FNAF, but in reality (augmented reality, heehee), It is an expensive topping that adds no flavor.
@@JC-kk4ph wouldn’t give it a topping because it’s an add on and not a stand alone game. With that said, since it’s an add on id make Ruin garlic dipping sauce
Well I did make a bet with the community to destroy the disk if the game wasn’t completely fixed yet, which it wasn’t when this was released, so I kept my word. But you’re pretty much right, I don’t care about FNAF anymore. Too many toxic fans for such a tightly knit community and if this is the future and where FNAF is headed, yea I’m good with walking away.
I'm gonna be that guy. I really liked security breach as a game. Keep in mind I only played it for the first time after several patches and didn't find any major glitch or bug. The ambience is extremely well done and although it isn't scary, it sure felt like a good and fun game. It just shouldn't really be named after fnaf, it should be a completely different franchise.
...I was about to write a comment about wasting food. Thank you for using expired food for this gag. Also yeah, I feel the same way. If Security Breach is how FNAF is going to be from now on, then I don't really care about FNAF anymore.
I like FNAF but I don’t like the direction it’s headed. SW is killing the franchise for me. As good as help wanted was it still has a ton of glitches that still aren’t fixed so I have a feeling SW is just going to keep releasing buggy messes
I played Security Breach long after most of the bugs were ironed out (I never encountered any, but I'm sure there're more). I really enjoyed the actual gameplay and setting, but it just didn't have the same feeling I got from all of Scott's previous games (and the camera system loading in as a circle around you instead of as an entire area was infuriating). I really felt betrayed by SB, because Help Wanted was such a great game, and I though Steel Wool might have what it takes to take on the mantle. I'm sure a lot of people felt the same way, and this really has strained my relationship with the franchise. It really doesn't sit right that Steel Wool released the game so buggy, especially when I absolutely despise that that is how games are being made now a lot of times (especially with early access. I hate early access. Just release the game when it's done, and use closed beta testers). When Ruin came out, I was a hairsbreadth from dropping the franchise completely. I've come back from that point and have come to still love it, but Steel Wool's really on thin ice now.
I hear you, they tried to be innovative and had so many games that came out before this as the blue print but they disregarded all of them and made a game that looks and feels like it was created by fans getting into game development. What ended it for me was the fan base blindly defending this pile of shit saying it was my hardware vs the game not being finished. The bugs squashed in 1.05 was over 5 pages in length and that’s a me problem?! SW now went with what worked which is Help Wanted but I feel like it’s a step backward. I enjoyed Ruin, they were onto something, but going back to what people actually liked instead of trying to try something else because it’s safe and SW can’t afford to take another hit to the goodwill by the fans. Good luck in future endeavors but I know I’ll never buy another full priced fnaf game that isn’t directly created by Scott. I’ll wait for it to be 15 or less
I dont think ive ever seen someone destroy a fnaf disk but this was very entertaining to watch edit: gonna play security breach soon and yes i am aware.
I played ruin and I enjoyed it. SB was just an absolute mess of a game, I was very taken back how it felt so much like an unfinished fan game. Ruin though is definitely a step in a better direction.
@@BigSeaMonsterThing I’m still hesitant, mainly because of the movie. HW2 is obviously going to sell well since HW1 was good and it’s easy to make a game full of mini games rather than trying something new again. The movie however looks like it’s going to be a train wreck that’s going to split the fan base further.
@@BigSeaMonsterThing the FNaF movie is kind of in a weird place because the games, as child like as they may seem to some, have an extremely dark undertone. With a PG13 rating it’s going to be very hard to portray that dark tone accurately making it seem more like a water down child friendly story. It’s understandable because if they make it a rated R movie it’s going to alienate a humongous portion of the fan base and won’t do well. I feel with it being water down, long time fans are going to feel underwhelmed while the younger fans are going to think it’s cinematic genius causing more tension within the fan base that started with SB. SB introduced a much younger group into the fold with how childlike it is. ruin is more of what SB should have been but now we have a new younger set of fans introduced to FNaF. Let’s be honest the fan base as of late is extremely toxic so both sides are going to think they’re right in their opinion and no one is going to budge. Lastly the script has been written, rewritten, scraped, rewritten again until we have the story that is what’s going to be on the big screen. In all of my years of hearing how movies flop because the story is all over the place due to its incoherency, this is usually the culprit why. They’ll take one aspect of one script, mix it with another portion of a different script till you have mishmash of a story that just doesn’t make sense. If I’m wrong I’ll be the first to admit it, but if I don’t like it I’ll just be considered a hater to those that did.
I have to disagree with a few things here. First of all, mushrooms are shit, so fnaf world can be like a pineapple. Controversial, but tasty. Second of all, FNaF AR is ok, but I hate corn. Make fnaf ar tomato or something. I'll only have it if I have to. Third of all, security breach is at least something. Seeing the shit you talk about this game makes me kinda mad, but hey. What can I say, i'm just stupid and have based opinions. Based opinion incoming: Security Breach is good, it's just being overshadowed by bugs. Interesting take on this franchise and very creative. Keep up this stuff! 👍
My point is reinforced even more when you say mushrooms are shit because FNAF world is hated by so many people. I get the appeal of FNAF AR but when the game isn’t supported anymore and the servers shut down where’s all your progress and money gone? Away. Away is where it goes. I’m glad you like security breach but I find the story, gameplay, cut scenes, and lack of playability to be extremely lazy. It’s unfinished and lacks any real competency to the direction where it’s headed. Based opinions, I got one, FNAF is about to head in a downward spiral.
I love fnaf security breach just not as a fnaf game if that makes sense. Similar sentiment to fnaf world only at least fnaf world isn't trying to be the exact same universe in the exact same timeline. If they had ditched afton, bug tested the game, made the story more horror-oriented and alienated greagory a bit more maybe i'd accept it as a fnaf game and love it as one. But it doesn't feel like fnaf to me, and part of the reason i love it is because it was so damn broken it made it funny so maybe im giving it too much credit. If you separate it from the rest of the series and ignore the first release being a nightmare of too glitches, softlocks, and getting lost, I think its ambitious (overambitious at points) and amazing, but it ruins the rest of fnaf. Personally as a pizza topping i would've made something edible and that tastes good but is objectively bad on pizza, maybe strawberry. I like strawberries but they do not belong on pizza, security breach doesn't feel like it belongs in fnaf. Despite my liking to it, as a fnaf fan it was very underwhelming and disappointing, part of me loved it, but the part of me that loved and cherished fnaf was upset at it. But i had already felt that fnaf shouldn't have continued after pizza sim so it might not have hit me as hard as others as i wasn't expecting it to be as good.
tldr: good game, bad and disappointing release, horrible fnaf game. Strawberry pizza, but if you were to make this pizza at the time the video did it'd be like.... Unripe strawberries or worse moldy strawberries.
Great video Gribbon!!! Now I understand finally why you despise Security Breach so badly, and honestly, it is understandable. Because if you make a game for a console, you make to be playable, have decent framerates, etc. The thing is I found out the 1.04 version of the game (the one I played, you played and is on the physical copy) is not even as bad as the 1.0 version. Apparently Steel Wool last edited the game in May 2021 (not even kidding) and uploaded it on PS Store (though private) in November 2021. In the 1.0 version (which has 9GB) the cutscenes are not even finished, the framerate is terrible, and overall just dissapointing. If you wanna see the video with the prototype, here it is: ua-cam.com/video/-C4PA1_QAro/v-deo.html I really hope Steel Wool understands how bad this hurts us overall, because I really want the next FNAF game (which I hope to be the last one, the series goes on for too long) to be something at the levels of FNAF VR when it comes to creepy factor.
Sad thing about this is I heard 1.05 fixed a lot of the issues that people had with the game making it playable, then when I bought the physical 1.06 dropped which actually brought it back down in quality.. like how do you do that? Steel wool I don’t think learned anything from security breach in the long run cause they still have die hard fans that will buy anything defending it and saying people like me calling it out are the problem. Make my words FNAF is about to get whored out wherever it fits and even if it doesn’t just to stay relevant. You’ll see Springtrap in dead by light, you’ll see Freddy in fortnite you’ll see a toy Bonnie mask skin in apex. These have all be brought up in the past but just to keep the name in peoples mind, we now just may see it with Steel Wool at the helm of creation moving forward.
@@Gribbon1020 As someone who (until recently) was stuck with the PS4 version, I sympathize. Even after the giant update that we hoped would fix the PS4 version, it was only brought up to a state of just barely being playable. Often, I'd have to wait 10 seconds for the map to finish loading every time I booted up the game or respawned, the resolution in many areas was still absolute garbage, the framerate was still wonky, and the game overall was more frustrating to play than anything else. I found myself constantly thinking about how terrible the optimization still was and I can't even imagine what it must've been like trying to play the PS4 version of this game at launch. Fortunately, I actually managed to get my hands on a PS5 and the PS5 version of the game fixes a lot of the technical issues. The fundamental issues with the game are still there but at least it's nowhere near as frustratingly broken as the PS4 version.
@@teamtx1578 it’s still up to steel wool to fix their product. They’re completely disregarding a portion of their customers by giving them broken garbage that 6 months later still isn’t fixed. Xbox and switch people are getting restless too with their version of the game. I cannot wait to hear how fucked up those versions are. Steel Wool wasn’t ready for this venture and it should have been handed over to someone with more experience.
@@Gribbon1020 I agree. The game was way too ambitious for Steel Wool to handle. If you ask me, they shouldn't have announced the game so early. All that did was put more pressure on them to get the game out as soon as possible. They should've waited to announce the release date until they could be sure they would be able to release a finished AND polished product in that time frame. Even with the update they released yesterday, it seems like PS4 players are still getting the short end of the stick.
@@teamtx1578 I’m convinced the Sony console exclusivity is what forced them to announce and release so early. I’m not sure who’s idea that was but it was a stupid one. And exclusivity was just a couple month deal so not only are they playing catch up with their already buggy crap then they have to port to the other consoles which I’m 99% convinced will also be buggy trash. Now you have 5 different versions of the game the are all in a different state of catch up and we didn’t even get into the dlc that’s supposedly coming out for this game. I don’t agree with your opinion about SB but still respect your opinion but can I ask question how the hell does the game look passionless steel wool clearly loved working on the game they just fucked up big time to some ppl
Because the story is lackluster, jumpscares are subpar, gameplay is second rate, and the game as a whole doesn’t operate as it’s intended. As much as they put into the game you can’t tell me that the endings/story aren’t at best lazy, and at worst forced out the door. I understand steel wool had good intentions making the game but they’re playing catch up. Also catching heat because other consoles players are wondering where their port is of the gaming knowing damn well it isn’t even ready for the console it plays on so what about them? Plus help wanted still had a dump truck full of glitches and bugs that still haven’t been addressed yet. The PS4 version barely runs. Also needlessly revived Afton for the 1000th time, because that's very original. They shouldn't have released the game as a buggy mess even if they have fixed some things. Also, for PC bugs, watch astral spiff, he plays PC and shows pretty much all the bugs.

They can acknowledge their fuck up till they’re blue in the face, actions speak louder than words. To be quite frank HW2 kinda feels like a cop out. They know they royally screwed up with SB so in order to mend fences they’re releasing something that has already worked in the past trying to bring the ones they alienated back into the fold. It feels like a crutch more than innovation. I know you’re a fanboy of SW but it doesn’t sound like you’ve been burned enough times by companies in charge of your favorite IPs. Ah ok
I like fnaf world but I don’t like mushrooms
Same here, but most don’t, hence the topping choice.

Also yeah, I feel the same way. If Security Breach is how FNAF is going to be from now on, then I don't really care about FNAF anymore.
Do you still like fnaf gribbon?
I like FNAF but I don’t like the direction it’s headed. SW is killing the franchise for me. As good as help wanted was it still has a ton of glitches that still aren’t fixed so I have a feeling SW is just going to keep releasing buggy messes
Sw is decent
Security Breach totally deserves to be destroyed
Good riddance
Bro you roasted ar one of the best games and then killed one of the best pizzas i ever saw by wasting 40$
Calling AR one of the best games is a very hot take.

I played ruin and I enjoyed it. SB was just an absolute mess of a game, I was very taken back how it felt so much like an unfinished fan game. Ruin though is definitely a step in a better direction.
@@Gribbon1020 Does this give you hope for the future of FNaF?
@@BigSeaMonsterThing I’m still hesitant, mainly because of the movie. HW2 is obviously going to sell well since HW1 was good and it’s easy to make a game full of mini games rather than trying something new again. The movie however looks like it’s going to be a train wreck that’s going to split the fan base further.
@@Gribbon1020Why do you think the movie is going to be a train wreck?
Maybe security breach could be a beef. It's not as good as a sausage, but i guess its just there. :/
When I talk shit about SB, I ignore all bugs. Because in my opinion game is still garbage by it's gameplay design and story.
@@Gribbon1020 honestly, you are based. i agree. I'm worried for this franchise going forward. FNaF VR and FNaF 3 will forever be my favourites.
Security Breach represented perfectly as broken
Disk yes, game no.
Poor security breach
No real loss here though
Ahhh pizza 🍕. I love pizza
Not this pizza lol
If you wanna see the video with the prototype, here it is: ua-cam.com/video/-C4PA1_QAro/v-deo.html
I really hope Steel Wool understands how bad this hurts us overall, because I really want the next FNAF game (which I hope to be the last one, the series goes on for too long) to be something at the levels of FNAF VR when it comes to creepy factor.
Because the story is lackluster, jumpscares are subpar, gameplay is second rate, and the game as a whole doesn’t operate as it’s intended. As much as they put into the game you can’t tell me that the endings/story aren’t at best lazy, and at worst forced out the door. Also catching heat because other consoles players are wondering where their port is of the gaming knowing damn well it isn’t even ready for the console it plays on so what about them? Plus help wanted still had a dump truck full of glitches and bugs that still haven’t been addressed yet.
