    Two of my favorite bands fused together. Making metal a better thing. Loudness w/Yngwie is truly magical!

    Man! I wish I could go... Oh well... I guess I'll just have to hope that they one day come to Canada.
    *Fun fact (I read somewhere):
    Hideaki Nakama, a friend and fellow musician of Norifumi Shima, lives in San Francisco... and apparently he has his own band there... This will probably be a good opportunity for Shima-san to jam with an old friend.

    really nice stuff shima rules! and yeah i totally agree with you sasukingu! im so damn tired that all japanese bands often are classified as the same genre just because of the country!

    If you mean that his guitar is an Yngwie's strat, you're wrong.
    It's his own signature guitar produced by Schecter.

    Every band, not only japanese ones, is influenced by older well known bands! Every songwriter writes songs that he would like to listen. If he likes Rainbow, Deep Purple, Scorpions and Malmsteen like Shima does, he will write that kind of songs!
    I know about songwriters, who make weird songs they don't even like just to make them different and so noticable!

    They remind me a bit of Ark Storm or Galneryus, which is just AWESOME. I love it!

  • @prowler986

    @FOXHOUNDsolid Galneryus are a totally different genre. Besides them both being metal and japanese, they have little in common.

    @CAIUSOLIVIUS Nope, this singer can actually sing that high on live performances. When you see Alcatrazz for example bonnet can never get to the height of the studio recordings.

    Can someone send me the lyrics of Concerto Moon "From Father to son"? please I need it!! and...I also love the song!

  • @Faradine
    @Faradine 15 років тому

    they sound exactly the same. The opera-style vocals, the high-pitched wah-induced solos, and the suble keyboard.
    I heard Galneryus first, been listening for a long time, found these guys recently. I like them, probably because they sound just like Galneryus.

  • @prowler986
    @prowler986 16 років тому

    It should be vice versa. Beacause Concerto Moon is an older band than Galneryus and Ark Storm.

    I have no idea what he's singing, ever. It's a genuine handicap of some sort on my part, but this is an overkill. Can't even find most of the lyrics on the interweb.

  • @Gianfrancoco
    @Gianfrancoco 16 років тому

    Yeah, if there's one thing I wished Concerto Moon would improve, it's their lyrics. Even if I do get the main idea of a song, it's still not the same, because there are so many mistakes. Oh well... I guess it's not really important... I just wish they would've kept writing in Japanese, with only the chorus being in English. I mean c'mon, Takashi's voice was MADE to sing in Japanese. Just listen to Destruction And Creation!

  • @Gianfrancoco
    @Gianfrancoco 16 років тому

    Exactly like Sasukingu said, labels like J-Metal or J-Rock can only cause harm to the Japanese music scene. I mean for God's sake, J-Something is not a genre! People should start using real labels, because otherwise, even Death Metal bands from Japan will be considered J-Metal.
    Oh, and by the way, this is Neo-Classical Metal, plain and simple. Feel free to add the word Heavy in there if you want.

  • @Gianfrancoco
    @Gianfrancoco 15 років тому

    Well I still disagree.
    The only real similarity between Galneryus and Concerto Moon is the Neo-Classical influence of their melody-driven compositions, nothing else. There's no "operatic-style" vocals. Concerto Moon's vocalist is Heavy Metal oriented, Galneryus' vocalist is Power Metal oriented. So I don't understand how you could say that they sound exactly the same...

    Maybe there is a difference between J-Metal and US/British Metal, or is it because you guys just like to piss on japanese culture? Either way, you guys are funny, keep it up.
