That was quite an old comment of mine, so in a way, that's what I used to think also, haha. I do still prefer Concerto Moon to this date though. But my ears have definitely matured, because I definitely do not dislike Doubler Dealer anymore. They have tons of great songs!
That's what I used to think until I gave them another chance and now I prefer them over CM. Just disregard the first album and try each song individually and you may surprise yourself as I did.

They don't suck so much. It just shows that Takao has way higher voice than Takashi. So whenever Takashi has to sing the old songs, he has to do a good job to reach to those heights. The pronounciation is a problem for almost all Japanese.

Malmsteen he isn't, he's way better. remember this his style was derived from Ritchie Blackmore(DeepPurple/Rainbow) even Malmsteen was a student of Blackmore.
