Prayers continue for your complete healing Brenda🙏❤️ I’m recovering from shoulder surgery and I’m able to stitch in my sling! So happy I began stitching again. What a wonderful community of talented and sweet people I have found! Just love EVERYTHING about your floss tubes! Hi to Laura too😁
Brenda so glad to hear you have a diagnosis , plan for treatment and a positive attitude and a circle to surround and support you. Your flower motif stitch is a Beauty . Laura I love seeing your Wips and stash. Faye’s finishes just enhance your wonderful stitches. Till next time happy stitching !!!
Brenda and Laura, just wanted to let you know what a joy you two bring in to my life. I started cross stitching late 70’s. Stopped for many years ( no LNS) and just rediscovered it a couple of years ago when I stumbled upon floss tube videos. Thank you so much for what you bring to this community. I look forward to each video. Brenda you are in my thoughts and prayers. Love your positive attitude and what a great friend you have in Laura and it shows. Love to you both and hope to meet you someday. Thanks again, Sandi
A treat to see you both a day early! Brenda - I’m glad you have a diagnosis and have started treatment. I’m still saying prayers and working on my #fortheloveofBrendaSAL piece, so, many loving, healing thoughts are being sent your way! Laura - so many interesting projects, plans, etc! Love the haul, OMG those project bags are giving me palpitations! Thanks, Brenda, for showing us your needle books- I’m trying to think what I have finished that I can make into a needle book stat! I about hyperventilated over those blue toile button boxes! Be still my heart! Fantastic episode in every way! Have a wonderful couple of weeks!
Oh Laura, your needlebook is fabulous!!! And your PS Santa!!! You must be thrilled!! Brenda, your needlebook collection is gorgeous!! What special treasures! Continued prayers for your health Brenda and love to y
I feel like I’m the slowest train car on the train and you two are the engines that just get us motivated to stitch!!! So glad to get your pieces and they are just lovely. I’m working on a piece that I finally finished and am just not happy with some of the colors. So, Laura, I frogged them out-lol and now re-doing just the areas I didn’t like. It will be re-done soon! And agree, Brenda, to look through the stash you have-brings a lot of joy. I get carried away with the new things that come out but I really need to remember what I have and feel so blessed. Thank you for another Sunday/Monday talk!
Thankfully you have your stitching. I too will keep you in my prayers. Love you both. My mother dies a month ago at 89 years old and I have ordered the Blackbird design from Traditional Stitches to do in silk in her honour. Welcome to the quilting rabbit hole Laura. You’ll love it. Your Featherweight will really be all you need to make beautiful quilts. I love mine.
Thank you for sharing your journey with us Brenda. I wanted to share that you and Laura have both provided me hours of stitching distraction while my mom has undergone treatment for leukaemia the past few months. She is headed for a stem cell transplant mid June and your positivity as you face your own journey is inspiring. Many thanks for the hours of stitching therapy you and Laura have provided me and my thoughts and prayers are with you as I stitch. 💕
Treatable and curable are answers to many prayers! The prayers will continue as you transition through the treatments. So happy you are back to stitching as the movement of the needle and thread through fabric can ease our soul. ❤️❤️ seeing both of you lovely ladies every few weeks and hearing what y’all have been up to. Thank you and God Bless you both.
Thanks again girls for all the wonderful enabling! Brenda I am so glad to see you in better spirits! You got this girl! Happy Stitching and quilting (Laura) !

Keep that positive attitude, Brenda! It is a huge part of the treatment journey, and in combination with all the well wishes, thoughts, and prayers, there is no doubt you will be golden! Another SUPER entertaining flosstube! Thank you BOTH for sharing your love of all things stitching. 😘
I am beyond happy to hear you are being taken great care of and what you have is curable. 🙌🏼 You are looking fabulous Brenda! And you too Laura. Stitching is great therapy... even when you can’t stitch, it’s therapy just to look at other people’s stitching and window shop the Needlework stores on line. ❤️ 🤗 🤗
The power of positive thinking is real! I will continue to send positivity and prayers to Brenda for her recovery. Lots of hugs to you both. Brenda, I can't believe you got that beautiful box for your needlebooks for $20. Sigh. I doubt anything would be that cheap around here in antique stores. I'm totally envious. I'm all set for BBD weekend!
Darling Brenda, you are in my prayers. Almost five years ago I had uterine and cervical cancer, after I’d been spayed I had to also have radiation - I stitched prolifically during that time. Like you - I gave myself over to the medical experts - you’ve just got to give up full control, but the only thing you can control is how you’re going to meet it - I chose laughter. I got through with a gorgeous, caring husband, a supportive family and beautiful friends ... Laura, you’re a gem. Love you two ladies ... hugs from Australia xxx
My dearest Brenda and Laura, much love, support, and prayers. I started my first Blackbird on the BBD weekend in May (and I have been stitching on it whilst I watch your video in your honour! I am loving stitching this chart and I am just enjoying the stitch not hurrying for a finish. I totally understand why this is comfort stitching, which I too am needing right now. Thank you both for all the sharing of such wondrous things. See you in two weeks with BBD in hand.
We love you Brenda. I've done oncology infusion for 26 years. I've treated many folks with lymphoma. I expect that you will do fine. It's so lovely to see you both this morning. Love to you both. ❤
Thoroughly enjoyed this flosstube. Brenda - I am sending you lots of love and encouragement. I am amazed at your strength and your positive outlook. I am stitching “Little Deeds of Kindness’ by Scarlett House in honor of you. Your kind heart comes through on your videos. Laura - you are the best cheerleader! Brenda is so blessed to have you as a friend. You both always brighten my day. ❤️
Thanks so much for a wonderful FlossTube! I love all the finishes and Brenda, I love your collection of needle finishes!! Lots of ideas for including wool appliqué with needle books. Laura, thanks so much for sharing significant Instagram findings. It is so helpful!! Brenda, I am so thankful for your prognosis. I am sure treatments are not fun but love seeing your optimism and return of your joy for stitching!! You don’t know me but I am in the background sending lots of positive vibes your way!! 🤗❤️ to you both!!
Robert is a member of a couple of my local guilds and we so enjoy having him around. He’s such an inspiration (although none of us like to follow him when we do Show & Tell!). Laura, I love the Baby Yoda card and hand sanitizer holster! Brenda, hang in there! Happy to see your sweet smile.
Oh, you wonderful girls!!! Brenda, you are an absolute inspiration to me. As another commenter noted here, your beautiful smile says it all! I am so very proud of you, and I KNOW God is in charge, and PRAYER 🙏 WORKS!! You are well on your way to healing! 😇 Laura, I am equally proud of you 👏 and so very happy to know that your beautiful spirit will be such a support and help to Brenda. Your part in all this is so important, and you are more than equal to the challenge. I feel privileged to “know” you both through FlossTube, and you are both dear to my heart ♥️! Thank you both so much for sharing yourselves, and y’all’s beautiful stitching…it means so much! God’s blessings to everyone. 🥰 Meline
Brenda, so happy to hear the positive prognosis! One day at a time!!! Love your Floral Motif sampler...it looks lovely. Laura vast stash always entertains me! Your finishes looked great! Enjoy the big race!
Love your visits. Glad Brenda has a wonderful medical and support team. Praying for you. Love your smiling faces and that Brenda has her mojo back. Laura I’m sure you’ll love quilting. Love both of yours work.
Wonderful to see you both! Continued prayers for you. I am my Mom’s UBER driver too and it is an honor. Best of luck and so glad you are in the best hands with your doctor. Having the right care is key to everything and of course laughter is the best medicine. The Yoda at the end was hysterical. Lots of great stitching and now I know what my Prairie Grass linen is for, oh well and off to order some threads. Enjoy the race and take care!
As always, enjoyed your company on a day off relaxing and putzing in my stitchy “studio” here at our retreat home in LaPorte IN . Of course, I had to add a couple of additional charts to the wish list-thanks I think?😂😂 Brenda-enjoyed the peek into your needle book collection--beautiful!! Laura-thanks for the shout out for House of Stitches-I have been a customer for 30 years and a part time employee for 2 years (dream job) how fun it would be to see you both stroll in for a visit!😀 Brenda-you are strong and have an amazing support system and medical team! You got this!🙏🏻💕
What a fabulous show! First of all Brenda thank you for sharing what you have been going through. The power of positivity, love, and especially prayer will give you untold blessings and healing. So many are sharing that with you. I pray that you continue to keep feeling well. Laura I know being at your friend’s side is so Important! Brenda is lucky to have you there. All of the things you shared were beautiful!!!💕 I continue to quilt but haven’t given up on trying cross stitch😊. Have a great couple of weeks❤️❤️
I am always so happy to see you two. Thank you for doing these fabulous videos. I learn so much and you are both excellent enablers. Happy Stitching! xoxo
Ladies, you never cease to make me laugh and love you more. Your pieces are so lovely, as always. Brenda, I am very happy you have a diagnosis and have great care-both are so important and you have the entire stitching world in your corner, cheering you on. I am looking forward to next weekend’s BBD weekend so I can go back to stitching on Oh Joyous Day. It is very hard to put down, as you know. Laura, you are an amazing friend and I really enjoy seeing the friendship and love you both have for each other.
Positive vibes Brenda! Your positive energy and attitude will make the most difference. You got this! I got very sick back in 2010. After years of illness and tests it was determined I had carcinoid tumors in my stomach. Surgery and a injection once a month make me feel just fine. Science and technology are amazing and you’ll be great! Keep that positive flow of energy!!!!!!! Much love, Debbie from Cincinnati! ❣️💗💞😘
Continued prayers for Brenda...so glad to hear that you have a medical team you love. Thanks for all the enabling you guys did this week! Laura, it sounds like you're just going to have to take a trip to Texas! There are several of us here that would gladly take you out for some stitchy shopping!
Heck, when I get sick I am headed North for your support group, they are terrific. Your smiles mean the world to me. Much love from hot and humid Texas
Hello ladies!!! I am BRAND new to cross stitch and your channel. This was such a delight! I felt like I was hanging out with girlfriends! SO FUN!! I love Laura's excitement as I am exactly the same way about things that make me happy. Brenda, I will add you to my prayer journal for healing. I just LOVE you gals and look forward to learning and getting to you both. I also watched Brenda's home tour of her stitching space and displays of finished projects. WOW!!!!! I love how everything is organized and displayed. Any advice welcome........
So thankful for your positive report!! Thinking only positive good healing thoughts for you!! It’s a joy to catch up and see all your stitchy progress 🇺🇸🇺🇸Happy Memorial Day !🙏
Oh the power of positivity, kindness, family and friends! You are blessed and we are blessed to have you both in our world! Sending healing energy and much love! You can do this!!
Brenda knowing how much you enjoy red floss, you are in my thoughts while I am working on a red Scandinavian style Christmas tree to add to my Christmas cross stitch wall. Sending a hug.
Always good to visit with you ladies. Brenda, I'm a former Hospice nurse and I have no doubt that mind over body is definitely real. Fill yourself with positive thoughts, positive people and love. Your diagnosis, while serious, is definitely manageable. I'm glad to hear that. Laura, I should have taken your advice and picked a simple piece for race day. I ended up frogging what I was working on THREE times, before I gave up and went to just filling in on Winter Rose Manor. What an exciting race! Thanks as always for sharing and all that you do for this community. It's very appreciated.
So much lovely eye candy! Needlebooks, charts, plans, haul, gifts oh my! I am really loving stitching What Remains Is Love sampler. Continued prayers for your health journey, Brenda. Laura, I'm so glad you got to meet Elizabethanncanstitch. Looks like you had fun.
So great to see you both, good to see Brenda back to her stitching. You are very much in my thoughts from over the pond!! Still in my thoughts! Brenda, with your attitude and so much support, there’s no stopping you! Many of us have made similar journeys (kidney for me), and a few years down the road, it becomes a blip on your radar. You’ve got this!! ❤️❤️
Brenda, you look 100% better just getting the diagnosis and knowing what you’re going to do! This is good news! Treatable and curable is what we all want to hear! And Laura, my world becomes a little brighter when you are online! Love you both!
You are both such a treasure and I love your videos. Spending time watching you is a highlight like no other. Continued blessings and prayers sent to you. I loved seeing all the needle books, amazing!
You two crack me up. I don't have stitching friends in person, but I feel like you get me. Stitch all the things and talking stitching any time IS fun. More people need to get on board. Praying for you Brenda, glad you have a great support system and stitching to occupy your hands and mind.
How very lovely to hear positive results Brenda, and that your support base, friends and family, is so strong. For sure you and Laura are in our prayers🤗🙏. Another blessing is that you’ve recovered your stitching passion, another gift for you and us. Love you both, and heart felt cheers from Eastern 🍁 Canada 🇨🇦

You don’t know the healing you bring me with your channel, alway positive, funny, uplifting channel & and the cuckoo clock how I laugh 😂 you Got this Brenda!!! ❤️
I look forward to your flosstubes, and am so happy to hear your positive attitude. I, too, am going thru some pretty scary health issues, myself, and I truly appreciate your positive assurance. I too love the Punch Needle Magazine, it is so nice to see such a top notch publication. Thanks for all that you two do for all stitchers.
Robert is in the Tudor Rose Sampler Guild with me and he is indeed amazing. We have a great time teasing him. I'm so happy Brenda that your prognosis is good. Thank you for sharing with us. Love and prayers for you. (and you too Laura).

I just got back from a long hiatus from cross stitch last year and have found several favorite floss tubers (is that a word?); one of which is your channel. I enjoy the two of you with the joking banter and your fabulous work. No pity here, Brenda, only prayers. I wish you the best in the battle ahead and feel confident because you are so confident. Keep up the great videos and look forward to many more.
Thank you for sharing your illness with us, Brenda. Thank God this is curable! I will keep you, your family, and your friends in my prayers! I’m so glad you can work short days. Extra stitching time! 😉 Loved seeing everything you two showed/stitched. Laura, the quilty bug bit me and I’ve turned one quilt top in to be quilted and I’m working most afternoons on two more (one is Lori Holt’s Flowers). You have a featherweight so get stitching! 🧵✂️😁
All I can say is, PRAISE GOD!!!! There is no doubt in my mind that He is sitting by your side and your healinng path has begun. Your smile says it all.
Fabulous video filled with so much eye candy and information!!! Brenda I am sending you positive thoughts and daily prayers.❤️🙏🏻 Laura loved all of your wips and haul!, you two are the best love and hugs to you both, Lynn

My mother In law had Hodgkin lymphoma when she was in her late 70’s went through her treatment, not going to lie at her age it was not easy, but she made it and walked on the other side of it. She is still here with us today in her late 80’s., doing fine. Her and my father in law who will be 92 in November live in their home by them selves and he still drives ( lord help us). You are still in my prayers♥️. Happy stitching!
Brenda, you will be in my prayers each day. You are looking great, I was worried about you. Treatable and curable is wonderful news. You are an inspiration to us all. Love, hugs, and prayers 🙏🏻❤️
What a delight y’all are! In an effort to broaden my FlossTube viewing, I stumbled on this video and spent an amazing hour hanging out with you two gals. (I guess I live under a rock that I haven’t discovered you before now! Ha) You both are so personable and encouraging to one another and to others in the needlework community (love the notecard mentions). So many things in common….My pals from R & R, Joy and Faye, and on and on. I hear at least one Michigan accent. (My daughters both live there now and attended college there. I saw that Wolverine cup, Brenda! Go Blue.) loved the unveiling of the needle books and Laura’s joy over each one. Truly, y’all were such a gift to my day. Thanks so much. Will tune in again soon. Might have some binge-watching in my future! Blessings on your journey, Brenda. Heartfelt wishes for whole healing. Be well.
I agree Brenda you look like yourself since getting your diagnosis. If it helps my oldest son has been in remission for 19 years after being treated for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Know that you are surrounded by the love and positive vibes from your family, friends and the stitching community💕 Your on my prayer list everyday. 🙂
I LOVE me some Brenda and Laura shenanigans!! So happy with the good prognosis news Brenda. And Laura, I’m so happy you like your Edith and Ferguson floss jewelry 😘watching Laura have an H and a H when Brenda took out the big Antique glass case was precious....now I need to make a needle book
Hello ladies😊 What a relief Brenda that you have found out what is going on in your body! Hoping whatever treatments you receive will put you back on a path for feeling so much better😉♥️ You both enjoy your weekend and remembering those who gave their all for us🇺🇸God Bless ♥️
Oh my gosh Brenda all the pincushion goodness! And Laura I cannot wait to see your journey into quilting! I’m a little jealous of that featherweight. It’s always so sparkly in my sewing room when you ladies are in here with me! Thank you for making me smile and for inspiring me to stitch faster. So much love and hugs to you ❤️
Brenda and Laura, you always amaze with the cross stitch items that you start and finish. And don't even get me started about your stash. Brenda, much love and encouragement as I can send. I know you will think of our stitch community 💕 when times get tough. Group hug.
Another wonderful flosstube..I just love ❤️ seeing all your amazing cross stitch starts and finishes. Sending Brenda lots of positive thoughts and hugs....♥️♥️
Ladies! So much goodness here! I have had a crazy couple of weeks and was feeling so disconnected from my stitching. I feel like I'm caught up after watching you. Hang in there Brenda, praying for your strength and peace on this journey.
It is great to see you! Brenda, thanks for sharing your news! I will know how to pray for you specifically for complete healing! I always enjoy your floss tube! Thanks for sharing!!
Sending positive vibes your way Brenda. Positive attitude that you are showing is absolutely the best medicine. YAY for stitching therapy, it is a life saving device. You both made my day.
So wonderful to see you both today. Brenda, you are amazing and I'm sure you can almost physically feel the love and support from our stitching community. You are in my prayers.....and in those of my brother who is a Church of Ireland minister ♥️
Brenda, I beat colon cancer and when I heard you say you have faith in your Doctors, I was so pleased. That helped me so much as I worked with them and all my wonderful care givers. I wish you all the best in your treatments, you will win this battle. I would like to ask a question of Laura... Would you do a wip show some day? I am green with envy every time you show your latest project, especially the silk flosses and georgeous linens. I would love to see where you are with your samplers especially. Both you and Brenda seem to cross stitch so fast. I am slow due to aging eyesight, plus I hate frogging out mistakes. I count and recount a lot which slows me down. Please consider sharing, I know it would be a lot of trouble, but fascinating. Thank you.
You know, as a Dutch person, so no native English speaker, and not working in an English speaking environment for a long time, it is sometimes hard to express yourself the exact way you want to. What one writes just doesn't feel like it is how it should be written. But I will try. I cannot imagine what you are going through Brenda, as I am lucky not have experienced this myself. But it felt so good seeing you this positive and ready to face everything you will have to go through. I wish you and your loved ones all the strength you need to get through this. It is also great to see that next to medical treatment you are also up for stitching treatment again. I really loved the box and all of the needle books in it. I would love to make a needle book myself one day, but i am just not good at sewing yet. Maybe someday. And Laura, I am looking forward to your updates on the MFE project and your blue instead of red sampler!
Dear Brenda and Laura😍thank you for your flosstube and how wonderful the news about your health Brenda.. take care and sending you lots of clovers🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀😘😘
Many prayers Brenda. In your journey we are here to support you. You gave great faith. Our stitching cares us through our lives and gives great comfort. I do not know how I would survive without it. Wishing I could help in many ways. I have organized supplies for the BB Autumn book so I will be starting one for the BB weekends. For some reason Autumn sounds appealing.....maybe it's our cool Spring. Enjoy your 2 weeks.
You gals put a smile on my face and get me into so much trouble ordering things, but I love it. Best to you both and special hugs and thoughts to Brenda💕
Just wanted to leave a little message for Brenda. As a breast cancer survivor, I can say from experience that going into cancer treatment with a positive attitude like you are is more than half the battle. You’ve got this Brenda! Sending all the good vibes and positive thoughts your way.
Thank you for sharing your diagnosis- as a nurse you always think of the worst possible senecio- this is not it. I’m sending you good stitchey vibes and lots of love and an extra helping for your husband and daughters. 💕💕💕
Prayers for you, Brenda, and your healthcare providers. Laura, I've made 3 project bags following Elizabeth Ann's tutorial. Her instructions are excellent. You can do it.
Hi Ladies!! Brenda, your Floral Motif Sampler is divine and your box as well as all the needle books is superb! Laura, I was going to mention that Whilst Iris Naps also has two sampler patterns that are stitched by a mother and a daughter, you may want to check them out as well. Happy stitching and be well!! 🌞🌼🌸🌺🐝🍄🌳🐇🥕🐏🍅💕💕💕

Stitching is the best medicine!!!! Continuing positive thoughts, prayers and strength.
Brenda, you look 100% better just getting the diagnosis and knowing what you’re going to do! This is good news! Treatable and curable is what we all want to hear! And Laura, my world becomes a little brighter when you are online! Love you both!

Amén!!
Thank you Barb!!
Fabulous video filled with so much eye candy and information!!! Brenda I am sending you positive thoughts and daily prayers.❤️🙏🏻

So happy to see you on the path to wellness Brenda. You are both so loved 🥰 and such a blessing to us all.
So much love and hugs to you ❤️
FABULOUS news.....yippee!!!
This deserves a high Praise!!!
Blessings as you go forward...
👏👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏🙏💕💕💕💕💕
Brenda and Laura, you always amaze with the cross stitch items that you start and finish. And don't even get me started about your stash. Brenda, much love and encouragement as I can send. I know you will think of our stitch community 💕 when times get tough. Group hug.
Another wonderful flosstube..I just love ❤️ seeing all your amazing cross stitch starts and finishes. Sending Brenda lots of positive thoughts and hugs....♥️♥️
Brenda, so happy to hear about your treatment and that it is curable. My prayers will continue to be with you.
Ladies! So much goodness here! I have had a crazy couple of weeks and was feeling so disconnected from my stitching. I feel like I'm caught up after watching you. Hang in there Brenda, praying for your strength and peace on this journey.
Love you Brenda! Will keep lifting you up! Wishing you healing and excellent outcomes.
I am now obsessed with needle books ❤️ helping me get back into stitchy mode ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you.
Brenda, thank you for sharing with us. Continued good thoughts and prayers sent your way. I so enjoy the inspiration you bring to my life.
Every time I cross stitch, I say a prayer for you Brenda! Thank you for all that you both do! You gals always energize me! Blessings to both of you!
I had to pause this video 3 times to go and look up charts you were sharing! 😂
I need The Betrothed! Thank you for sharing. ❤️
There is not a floss tube that I watch that you are not mentioned Brenda! May god continue to hold you in his healing hands.
Thank you for the medical update..calm heart is life to our body,so very wise! As usual love to see all your stitching
and the finishes are lovely!
I’m just now getting back to your flosstube and I’m so glad. I’m in love with all those needle books.
Continued prayers for you Brenda . Your positive attitude is wonderful to see. Thank you both so much for a great video. I love seeing your projects, haul, finishes etc. Take care.
