Hi Ladies, Museum glass is Anti-reflective and protects art from fading.. It is a chemically made glass much like the glass they make for eye glasses. Non-glare glass is etched glass to reduce the glare. Years ago, non-glare was etched on both sides and it looked like a shower door. Now it is only etched on one side and still reduces glare but has very little U.V. protection. U.V. glass is regular glass with a film on the inside to protect the art from fading. There are a few different brands with slightly different properties and cleaning recommendations. Great video Kelly and Brenda Thanks for sharing your home. Ramona
Ramona, thanks for all that information! I hope everyone will see your comment and take notes. Our stitching and time spent stitching is so precious it should be preserved properly.
I need to stop feeling selfish from spending so much money on cross stitch. I felt that had to stitch for children, grands, great grands who all live 200 - 2500 miles away. Hubby never says anything about what I spend. Most days I still grief for my 4th son’s death from cardiomyopathy at age 32 in 2020.I have been retired form nursing for 10 years. We go to church Sunday and Wednesday, to the store if I really need somethings. Hubby and I do most things together including camping and walking 1/2 miles 5;days a week. This video gave me some freedom
Thank you Brenda,I am in heaven with all the eye candy wish your interviewer was more professional and let you finish your thoughts, could have gotten more information from you.
Hello, I am so happy that you came to watch. I agree with you... I talk too much! My sisters call me chatty Kathy, so I'm used to it. It is definitely something I need to work on. This was my first series that I am calling Stitching Cafe Chats. If you can imagine how excited I was to meet Brenda and be in her sacred space...well, I was beside myself. I had so much I wanted to ask her and yes, unfortunately, so much that I wanted to share with her as her friendship and Flosstube with Laura helped me through a horrible heartbreak and time that I didn't think I could live through. I wanted them to know and I had the opportunity to tell Brenda face to face. I do apologize if there were times that I may have cut Brenda off, I certainly didn't mean to. In my excitement and her easy, friendly manner, it made it very comfortable for me to 'chat' with her. I wanted everyone else to get a closer look at Brenda, but my intend was not to conduct an interview per se, but to sit and chat as friends. The 'professional' and 'interview' part is certainly not my style. If you could find your way to enjoy some more chats to come, even if I am chatty Kathy, because I can't promise anything. I hope that you will stay and continue to join me. I have some really wonderful stitchers I will be chatting with, to come... I was happy to see your comment. It's great to get feedback. Thanks so much for being here!

When my husband asks where you buy so much, I will show your video and he will calm down .Thank you! wonderful house, a dream home!
Hi Brenda, what type of chair do you have in your Stitch spot? Love your house!
Hi Cheryl. I don't know if Brenda will see your comment here. You may want to message her on IG or her Flosstube.
@@kellylea28 I should have thought of that! Thank you!
I enjoyed watching your video with Brenda. I wish though it was full screened to see better. Any tips on how I can grow the video?
Hi Marie. I know! That frustrated me as well. I need to google and hone up on recording. I filmed horizontal as some UA-cam tutorials showed. I'm not sure what I did wrong. I think on some devices it shows larger, but I'm not sure. I sure am sorry for the poor filming, but I hope it is still enjoyable to watch. Maybe Brenda will have me back for a do-over 😆
It’s so fabulous to be able to tour her wonderful home! We were blessed to visit in July. What a joy!
Oh Melissa, you must be in the picture with Brenda in her downstairs room. I will have to look and see if I can find you! It is a visit I shall never forget!
What an amazing treat this was!! So generous of Brenda to invite us all in. And now I wonder what is wrong w my brain that I can’t recall sampler names. Brenda you are amazing to just recite these sampler names! Once I’m
Done I move on and it’s out of my brain: I’m in awe hahahah❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much for visiting.... I'm still in awwwwww. Being there with her in person was magnificent!
I LOVE brenda. Her home is amazing
I AGREE!!!!!!
Thank you so much for bringing Brenda to us. Meeting and visiting with her is on my bucket list.
Hi Karen! LOL...Keep your bucket list fore front in your mind. I envisioned meeting and hugging Brenda and Laura. At least half of that wish came true. It was wonderful~!
Such a great time “visiting” with you in your home. So enjoyed seeing all your projects.
Hi Linda! Thanks for visiting. Brenda is surely beloved by everyone!
How in heavens name do you keep everything clean and stitch so much? I am still trying to accomplish this!
Ha Julie! I was wondering the same thing. Along with being cozy, and wonderful, her house is spotless!!!!!!
Well get you!!! I am sending you the biggest hug! I absolutely loved this.. it truly is the best "interview" chat-a-long I have seen with Brenda.. She is a darling and you so complimented each other, chit chatting along like old friends. You brought us all along with you and I thank you for that. The world of cross stitching is closer for these videos and how we all feel like friends simply sharing our passion of needlework and all the beautiful joy that brings. It was so interesting Kelly, getting to know Brenda a little more and how gracious of her to share her home with us all. Thank you Brenda. As for the 56Count... I think Miss Jean's phone is going to be red hot! much love to you my friend and Congratulations on your 1st Cafe chat-a-long xx
You crack me up and I love you more than anything!!!!!! OXOXOXOXOXOXOXO
Absolutely lovely. Thank you for inviting me into your beautiful home.
Hi Allison, I'm so happy that you popped over here to watch Brenda. She is lovely, kind and a bag of chips!!!!!!
I really enjoyed this video. Thanks for taking the time to interview Brenda. Even though Laura wasn't there I kept hearing "schwoom" pop in my head along with the sound of a Tab can opening up.
Ha Ha... me too Christy. I was so tongue tied I think I actually said Shroom instead of schwoom.
@@kellylea28 It was all so good. Seeing all those samplers left me speechless. No schwmooming, swooming, coukoo coukooing, all amazing. Loved watching the video.
This Black Thread person is new to me!!! I will look for floss tube!!
I so enjoy her!!!!😊
Hi Kelly
Hi Cheryl! This is Kelly with Black Thread Studio. I don't do a 'flosstube' as I don't just cross stitch. I love all kinds of stitching and I love trying out new things to stitch or picking the brain of other stitchers. I hope you'll join me and have some fun! Welcome! oxo
@@kellylea28 yes! I get it! Cross stitch is nice but I do other things also.
Thank you for letting us see Brenda and her place! It was so so nice!!
I’m ready to buy my ticket for the tour now. No need to wait 100 years. Thank you for allowing this sneak peek❤. Truly enjoyed the discussion too
Ha Ha!!!!!!! I know, right!!!!!! Brenda was too humble about it. We need to make her house a museum asap.
Beautiful work Brenda
I agree 1000% Laura. I'm so happy that you came to watch the tour.
Brenda & Laura are the BEST❤💙
Yes they are🌺🪡🪡
Beautiful video! What is the name of the Etsy store that makes that multiple project bag!! Its beautiful!
Hi Chrissy, I did message Brenda. All she said is that the bag is VACAY brand. I hope you can find it!
@@kellylea28thanks for the info! Unfortunately I was not able to find it,, but I have realized that I need to go on a vacay.. so many cute vacay items!
What wonderful FlossTube among friends.
Di I miss something ? I have seen a tour of Brenda's wondrful house before so was looking forward to seeing the garden ...but where was it ???
Oh sorry if I misrepresented in my title. I did get a beautiful "glimpse" of Brenda's garden. I had no idea she had such a beautiful yard otherwise I would have been prepared to talk to her about it and see if I could record more. Brenda is so gracious with her time, I didn't want to intrude on her whole day... We both needed our 'stitching' time. 😃I hope you can go back and view closer when I peeked out her back door. Thanks for watching!
What a lovely visit and chat.
Thanks Joanna!!!!! Did you have coffee or tea with us? Did you stitch while you watched? So happy you came by.
What a wonderful video.
Thanks for being here and for the sweet comment!!!
What is the name of the project bag you showed ? VayKay? 😊
Hi Chrissy! It is Vacay or Vakay. Maybe you can get a screenshot when Brenda held it up. If you can’t find it I would message Brenda on IG
Просто чудо, что я это вижу!!! ❤
Я видела обзор от Бренды!! Ваши вышивки просто мир волшебства❤❤❤
Brenda is so special and so talented and passionate about her stitching. It was truly a gift for me to visit her. I'm so happy that you are able to watch...
Also I had trouble with hoop marks even when I took the hoop off each time I stopped stitching.
Brenda, I love to watch you and I don't cross stitch!
Hi Janet, Yes! I loved to see your comment. It's a heart connection, isn't it?!
Oh Linda, I am so so happy to see your sweet comments. I need to start walking, I'll let you be my inspiration for that. Be well and come back often.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Back at ya! OXOXO
Это МУЗЕЙ, И ЭТО СУПЕР!
I agree!!!!!! oxo
