They're voices are so magical! I love you both and love what they did on the Steven Universe the movie. Steg was such an incredible surprise and seeing Opal again was amazing!
Well serendipity still works. I hear Aimee got canceled off the Steely Dan tour off Harry Shearer's LeShow and now I'm newly acquainted with some beautiful new music to my ears. This has got the combo of melody and harmony that the Beatles used to crank out like an assembly line but has become a rare commodity now. I'll be looking out for her showing up on the west coast.
Amazing. All of it is fantastic. These two were great independantly, but together their music has so much power... And those vocal harmonies! Even as a singer I could never achieve that much...
Absolutely love this! So happy this gig was recorded. As much as I appreciate Mann as one of our greatest living songwriters, this gig really shows how much of a solid pocket bassist she is on top of her other formidable talents. I hope we get more from The Both soon :)
"Volunteers of America!" was the refrain on the title track of the album "Volunteers" of the Jefferson Airplane, however, the song was called "Volunteers."
Ted has such a great guitar style. and it cracks me up when he just goes off on his solos letting his inner rocker noodle off out of sync to the others.

Happy to say we were standing stage front for their set at Bumbershoot! Great set, great record!!
Their banter is as delightful as their music. I hope they make more music together.
amazing! No autotune, no effects! now that's what real music is! and the sound of that P Bass is so sweet!

Thank you, you legend 👍
They´re really good. Didn´t know them, it was a good surprise for tonight.
Impossible not to fall in love with this two
As soon as Ted opened his mouth I fell in love
Signed, in love
I wish KEXP would play more of them. This album seems to have been forgotten.
I love her voice

I love nice warm soft distortion w/smooth bass. I predict a tour with Malkmus.
To be fair, Aimee does have a perfect voice for NPR
There's such a stark difference in their writing styles. Aimee's are slower & more melodic whereas Ted's are more pop punk & rockier. I love it.
Magical, hope they come to the UK some day.
Aimee in bass is always the coolest!
This is great!
Love you guys, great stuff.
Wonderful indeed
Ted's one of the very best 3-piece guitarists IMO
Wicked awesome!! Love the Both....
not a lote of ppl like this=[ i love it!!
LMAO STEG AND OPAL
"Volunteers of America!" was the refrain on the title track of the album "Volunteers" of the Jefferson Airplane, however, the song was called "Volunteers."
Hope they will come one day to France ! They are both Great ❤️
Love Aimee's bass playing.
oh my god it's Aimee Mann!
I would kill for a bill & ted style show starring these two
I wish I had the money to hire an animator. I want, very badly, an animation of Steg, Opal, and Garnet on drums doing this whole set.
I agreed
Independent together, you and i---
Aimee needs to bring back her “Blippity-Blap” technique
Is Aimee's bass straight off the shelf? What's up with that?
First song is excellent: "You Can't Help Me Now"
super cool
Sometimes, I just gotta listen to some Aimee, man.
Claro que si! lo que cuesta que suene así de limpio en vivo. Muy buenos!
they should form a comedy duo - their back and forth banter was better than their music.
Yeah it was good, but not better than their music.....
Sails lift!
Time Stands Still for Aimee Mann!
Ted has such a great guitar style. and it cracks me up when he just goes off on his solos letting his inner rocker noodle off out of sync to the others.
Sounds great. Aimee's still hot after all these years.
cool!
Why's Ed not playing drums?
Because Ed is Ted !!
Hi steg and opal
😘😘⭐⭐🎶🎶🎶👩❤️👩🎤🎤🎸🎸💖🌈🌈💖🎸🎸🎸🔮🔮❤❤🙏🙏
nice glasses - are they Tom Ford's?
Steg x Opal is a beautiful ship, but they just appear once on SU the movie.
Have you forgot that steg is a fusion of steven and his dad and opal is both of Steven's gem mother figure
@@crystalgaming1185 I know they're all fusion, but they never fused often in SUF.
Sefent I
STEG AND THE OPALS
Why won't he stop singing and playing the guitar?!
Steg and opal vibes
Drummer reminds me of Spinal Tap drummer Ed Begley Jr.
