Hi Mario, beautiful finish on the clearcoat it looks very flat and glassy, the DV1 basecoat gun with the B+ aircap does a great job on laying the clear, at the end of the day it's the same gun as the DV1 clear gun but with a different aircap the tips are the same on both guns even though they are marked differently👌🙏👍John UK

I have all three Devilbiss DV1 guns and that DV1-B basecoat is by far the best base coat gun available. Especially for metallic and pearl. Its also not bad for clear coat. The DV1-C clear gun does great but its just a slow gun. I ended up buying a Porphis prd-715 clear gun to speed up when doing complete paint jobs of an entire vehicle because for that DV1-C is just simply too slow

I use a Devilbiss pro lite with a 1.2 fluid tip and a T110 air cap at 26-28 PSI and it lays clear like glass no peel ! I base with the 1.3 fluid and T20 about 20 PSI it’s flat also. One day I may get a DV1 . I’ve been working hard on refining my home spray booth.

Hey Mario. I'm kinda new to the car painting world but you have help me a ton by watching your videos. I got a dv1 base coat gun with the 1.3 b+ cap non digital. Im having trouble finding good air pressure settings for basecoat and clear coat. Any advice? Thanks in advance!
