@@xxczerxx Given his background, could be from birth too, so maybe psychopath. The popsci expression is that psychopaths are born and sociopaths are made.
@@dodgeplow I honestly don't think Homelander is born evil.
@@lukayaroslav9914 we don't know enough to say so far.
@@xxczerxx No. Homelander has empathy. Why else would he save the baby? He resents that kid all season but goes out of his way to save him.
One of the most convincing villains in recent memory, creepily sadistic with real mommy issues who clearly enjoys his work :)
2:38 “oh golly gee shucks, what makes you think I would give two f**** about that”
2:59 he is not wrong cause he ain't no hero
Nah, homelander is a hero❤❤❤
6:41 him trying to stop his laugh
The character arc is so good, starts just like captain America/superman kind but slowly turns to evil kind. Kudos to the actor.
Homelander is a villain acting as a hero, a wolf in sheep's clothing.
This is like Officer Hood after serving 15 years again lmao.
He is literally scarier than most horror movie monsters
They could not have picked a better actor for homelander
He’s great at it!
Homelander is America in human form.
Can't wait for season 2!!!
Get ready for a spanking, Supes!
Amazon Prime Video isn't available in my country 😭
@@davidaijuka1108 just get an android box and you'll be able watch literally whatever you want without paying money but make sure you use cinema HD V2 on an android box cause it's best one to use
@@murris5591 yeah it is but don't talk about it too much they may get sued
I can’t wait for season 3
5:30 Seeing homelander crying got me shocked. It one of the few thing that actually makes him emotional and even empathic, family issues. With his son, family and even The Seven, specially Noir.
Already watched the whole series twice, can’t get enough of this. Just magnificent
I wouldn’t call someone that is more dangerous than the joker a hero.
It's more like Kanye West with powers
I am literally scared of Anthony Starr
When Homelander’s eyes light up he actually does something with it unlike Starlight.
homelander is so terrifying that it makes you feel sympathetic for his victims no matter how bad they are
Lmfao 🤣 at Homelander! 7:24
Crowd: We hear you, Homelander!
Homelander: And I hear you brother lol
I think you made him come across more like a real person who could actually exist here rather then an over the top caricature like he was in the comics
You can tell Antony Starr has an absolute blast playing this character. He's so entertaining to watch.
"Is he a good guy or a bad guy? Homelander keeps us guessing ..." - No, not really.
Solid acting from Antony, New Zealand represent 🇳🇿🇳🇿
7:14 YO, HE'S ABOUT TO GO FULL OMNI-MAN ON EVERYONE!!!
Prime Video : Homelander SCARY scenes
me : literally every scene he is in
2:12 The way he pats his back is hilarious
1:25 best cut in
I love this character...
He gave me the efficient and understandable evil just like MCU Thanos
7:25 the writers lifted this from then at the time, President Bush's speech at ground zero following 9/11. Probably one of his more objectively "presidential" moments.
She came 3 times
@5567 5555 not in this clip. it's in a different part of this episode
@Homelander what?
The camerawork and soundtrack adds so much to an already great performance
