Happen to know when drilling like this was developed? A bunch of GI's in the world wars with bolt action riffles just messing around while they were board?

Goes back even futher. It developed as a way for units to impress commands and show up other units back in the 1800s.

That was very nice how you explained the history of how it began.

@@Mom-USMCRichardUSMCChristopher thank you. I was on the Air Force Drill Team years ago and Liked the crazy moves the Navy guys did. Had a few friends on thier team. I go out and teach drill to various JROTCs in my area. Navy has the craziest moves, Air Force has the sharpest drill team, Marines have the best line, and the Army is weak when you look at their Drill Team.
Drill is an amazing tradition and can be made to look awesome.

It's really amazing how the team works, and it's a so nice that you are out there teaching what you learned to do. Definitely an asset to the future of military. Thank you for responding to me again.

Outstanding performance, everyone seemed fairly competent and knew what they were doing. it seemed lack snap, precision, and was fairly sloppy. uniforms did need a some work, mainly blousing. But I did throughly enjoy the sets and general effect of the performance.

Just one question. Why so much? Too many maneuvers at too fast of a pace will sacrifice good snap, precision, and unison.

It is their thing. You want slow and locked on look up the Air Force. the AF and the Navy have the two best teams.
