Fade Cruz they actually are infantry and regularly deploy when needed... they're not gonna have wimps in the Old Guard (the 3rd "Infantry" regiment). Look it up
The LaBelle Disco bombing was a terrorist attack perpetrated by a hostile force - Libya. The Fort Hood shootings was a criminal act conducted by a US soldier. It is a very relevant difference.
I don't under stand the heel thing, in Canada we lift our legs so that the knee and the thigh are 90 degrees from each other and the thigh is parallel to the ground
You mention the "heel thing" and then, presumably, the mark time. How can I help you understand? The heels have what we call, "cheaters" or "clickers". These are plates of metal screwed into the sole of the shoes, worn for the effect of the sound. Our mark time and facing movements, are less flamboyant than the the British/Canadian style.
Dicky Fisher The high Mark Time is not in honor of the fallen. That doesn't make sense- how does lifting one's leg higher than normal give honor to anyone or anything? The higher Mark Time, in this case, enables the upper thigh to be horizontal. That's it. It's just a different look. Only when marking time with a casket when facing either end do the body bearers march like this. Not any other time.
Let's get some attention to this issue. The US Army will not present the Purple Heart to the victims of the Fort Hood shooting. After the LaBelle Disco bombing, the Army awarded the Purple Heart to some of the victims. They were off duty and in an entertainment establishment. The Fort Hood victims were on duty and preparing to deploy to a combat zone. So why has the US Army denied the Fort Hood victims the same recognition it gave to victims of the LaBelle Disco Bombing.
So was the fact that the soldiers in the LaBelle Disco were off duty and in an entertainment establishment. The soldiers at Fort Hood were on duty preparing to deploy. Hasan Nadal was a US soldier who turned armed terrorist. Don't tell me he was not hostile.
I LOVE THE DOMINO EFFECT
I love the domino effect too!!
Dang a lot of discipline and hard work goes into this good job guys
I love these silent drill teams, outstanding performance!
The old Guard isn't a team, it's a way of life and a state of mind.

FYI. To everyone you need to be in a Combat Zone to be Awarded a Combat Award. So if the Shit Hole bar they were in. Get it.
DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYUM! LOVE IT!

Its done like that in honor of the fallen. If they carried a Casket thats how they would step.

Hi
I can't wait to see all the thirsty fucks in here
Uncovering while under arms? No rank while in dress uniform? Vocal commands for a silent drill team?
It's NOT a SILENT drill team!
+Kevin Phillips you clearly don't know this is a specialty platoon.
Tom Eaton I did not say it was not a speciality platoon. Are verbal commands given?
Irrelevant, in my hiumblle opinion.
The victims still deserved the same recognition as did the victims of the LaBelle Disco bombing.
It would be much better if the announcer would shut up...
the first to
Silent if that anouncer would STFUp.
