While characters like Sophia only a lot younger would be a good hire to serve as a psychiatrist too. Both always hiding their true thoughts about whom they insist they need to be paid in order to keep on serving them. I heard ahead of time on the internet that care giving school has way more than one younger than me student character like that who is determined to stand out among the rest. I better be prepared when working on myself in care giving school well enough instead of dreaming how well I am and how I will in the' future stand out among the rest.

I'd say most of Sophia's savagery feels improvised in the best way. Probably the most consistently believable and natural comedic insults ever delivered.

i was around 10 when my grandmother introduced me to the golden girls, and loved it immediately. my grandma passed and i still watch it to this very day at 22, and it will always hold a special place in my heart

I always loved that in the script, Sophia’s one liner’s were always a result of her character having a stroke and causing her brain to remove it’s filter. So basically she said whatever came to mind 😂 her and Dorothy were the dynamic duo of making ppl look stupid lol
Sad she pass away so long ago... but her memories will continue to live on for many to enjoy for the years that follow, thus thank you Sophia for the fun memories and rest well.
