By the scoring on the crank and the damage to the bell housing, I would make the assumption that possibly the OEM 6 flywheel bolts had sheered at some point due to the high tourqe. Which would have dropped the whole clutch and flywheel down and possibly took a Chuck out the bottom of the bell housing. Which is probably also another reason why they drilled extra holes into the crank and JB welded the box back together. Of course I’m only guessing all of that bud but that would be my guess 😊 P.s. wicked build man! My Dream set up!
I love everything about it! Best colour in my opinion, real nice lookin wheels, big brakes and a 4WD 5 pot turbo lump. Not sure how it could be any better 👍🏻👍🏻
Good stuff Tom! Are there any other differences between the two engines which would matter for you? I understand what you said in regards to the sensors, but unless you are also swapping other controllers over, I would think that if the car was running without those additional sensors, then it should matter if you hook them up now or not. Have you been able to get more info on that?
Hey Ralf, thanks man. The oil pump is the only difference as far as I know. It's an emissions thing. The oil pump has a low pressure setting and a high pressure setting. My harness doesn't have connectors for those extra oil pump connections but I did confirm that leaving them unplugged will default the oil pump to run at high pressure all the time 😁
Lol it's specialty tool 8541. I got it on Amazon prime for like 25 dollars. This video was from like a month ago 😬 I'm gonna skip over and condense the rest into just a few videos

@@FAZEDTom Nah was just reading real gud stuff on the Wavetrac. Ithink personally i would prefer that before more power. I feel even at just 360 hp stage 1, ican hardly hold my Clubsport on the road at the higher speeds. Steering starts wobble abit. You think an LSD would fix something like.
You have an electronic diff right? They're not too bad but yeah on a fwd car like yours a Wavetrac would help, especially powering out of tight corners.
