What kind of hairspray should be used for thinnish hair? Should I put hairspray on before or after the curling process?

You can dampen your hair and put a slight amount of gel before doing the curls. Then when you take them out, it will last A LOT longer! Hope this helps!

Some hair types require a true wet set rather than a damp set. Perhaps try it on towel-dried hair after showering and see if that helps. Mind, it does take quite a bit longer to dry that way.
