I know what you mean! I think I found The Shining slightly scarier but I think the focus on grief makes Pet Sematary seem more real which makes it really scary!
YES! It's always great to find fellow King fans! Would love to hear your thoughts on The Green Mile as it's definitely one I'd like to read in the future!
Carrie was my first Stephen King read. I love it and I was happy that it was my first read. You have to see the 1976 movie Carrie. It's so good and scary too. The scene when Carrie seeks revenge is so shocking. The actress did an amazing job as well. Great readathon vlog Ciara. 🍃🍂🍁☕🎃📚
hahaha, honestly don't know where the motivation came from but I'm here for it! Never normally read so much ahah! Enjoy your cosy day of reading! and right?? he's such a cute lil bunny!
24 hour readathons are so fun, I just uploaded one and I found it tiring but also super fun. I love love love the spooky vibes in this, and you're making me really want to pick up some Stephen King!
they are so much fun but also so tiring! Also *brb* just going to watch your 24hr readathon now! You should totally pick up some Stephen King - they're so good, especially at this time of year!
@@kingdomofabigail oooh - there are so many great ones - the first one I read was The Shining and I loved it SO much, but also Carrie could be a good choice because it's one of the shorter ones!
Pet Sematary is the only King book I’ve read so far, and Misery is the next book on my list! This vlog started out as if directed to me and I’m here for it 😂
You're such a speedy reader!! :o I've only read Blaze, you've made me want to read a lot more! It's a shame you didn't enjoy The Running Man too much, it's sounds v interesting! :D p.s. your bunny is so cute!!!! 😭😭
hahaha - I *swear* I never normally read so much, so I'm so happy with how the readathon went! To be fair, The Running Man definitely wasn't bad, just not *as* good as his other books! But you should totally give it a read because I know you love dystopian! and aww thanks, the bunnies are super cute hahah!
I always have to have something in the background while I'm reading, most of the time reading vlogs on very quietly. I don't know if it's from being from a large, loud family, or me being ADHD but it helps me comprehend what I'm reading a bit more. 😊
I've been meaning to read Carrie for years but horror isn't my genre but I think I would enjoy it anyway and you have sold it for me now! Glad your 24 hour readathon went so well and I loved watching this so much
YES! I don't really read much horror either but for some reason, I just love Stephen King so definitely give it a go! So glad you enjoyed the video! :)
wow Ciara, this is impressive!! I'm glad you enjoyed all of them ^^ I plan to read Pet Sematary and Misery very soon! THE BUNNY, OMG 😭 and the pumpkin looks so adorable 😍 loved this vlog 🧡🧡
Thank you Mary! Your comments are always so lovely🥰 definitely come chat to me when you read them because I loved Pet Sematary and I’m still reading Misery but I think it might be a new favourite!! Also yaaaasss the bunnies are so cute!🥺
I read when I'm tired, whether or not it's in the morning when I first wake up, at night, or all day, I get most of my reading done when I'm half asleep. 😂
I haven't read any Stephen King books bcoz of the fact that I have Phasmophobia fear of ghosts. But even if I get really scared I still really want to read horror because I find it very intriguing. When it comes to getting scared I really don't get scared of monsters and all that but I do really get scared of little girl ghosts especially ones with long dark hair. If u have seen the movie rings 2 then u might see the kind of ghost I am talking about. Haven't read or watched anything horror ever since that movie. I couldn't sleep for a week.
oooh, maybe Stephen King isn't the best author for you! However, if it's just ghosts you'd like to avoid, you could definitely read The Outsider, Misery, Carrie, & The Running Man as they don't have any ghosts! There are also probably lots of other books of his with no ghosts, but those are just the ones I've read so far! I hope you find some you enjoy because they are really good!
Thanks Abi! I know what you mean, there are so many to choose from so it can be daunting! But, I'd recommend maybe starting with either The Shining (which was my first Stephen King) or Misery (which I just finished) because they were both SO good!
I read pet cemetery and IT and the shining and they were AMAZING, holy shit IT was the best, had the best characters, and villain, had the best story in my opinion, my second favorite has to be Pet Cemetery, it was so dark and gritty and so so good, and the Shining is my 3rd favorite, it was pretty slow at the beginning but once the intensity starts it does not stop
@@ciarascorner I'm assuming they don't have a system that you can borrow from? Like here we have Library Systems so if you live closer to a smaller one you can request a book from a different library and they will bring it to the smaller one for you to borrow.
I am 12 too. I love reading so much that if I go somewhere without a book I forget why i am there and if the place is near my house I would come back just to get a book.
Also just if you or anyone else is curious. Those 7 books are Carrie, The Institute, The Outsider, Geralds Game, The Shining, Pet Sematary, and The Long Walk
A lot of people don't find Pet Sematary all that scary, but I found it really scary. It terrified me, even more than The Shining
I know what you mean! I think I found The Shining slightly scarier but I think the focus on grief makes Pet Sematary seem more real which makes it really scary!
i really recommend “desperation”, because there are about 6 characters , they are developed thoroughly, i enjoyed it
Super ❤️🖤🤎❤️!!
With a youtube addiction, this is the closest I'll be to actually reading a book.. (I can easily do a 24 hours youtube challenge though)
hahah - I could definitely enjoy a 24 hour youtube challenge too!
OMG ME
I found pet cemetery to be more disturbing rather than scary, but it was a great book.
The lighting bolt on the pumpkin 🥰
Very nice readathon, loved watching it! You read a lot, wow 🤓
hahah - I was SO happy with how the pumpkin turned out! and thank you - so glad you enjoyed!
Love to see more Stephen King fans here on yt! I myself am currently reading the Green Mile by Stephen King, great read😏😉
YES! It's always great to find fellow King fans! Would love to hear your thoughts on The Green Mile as it's definitely one I'd like to read in the future!
I am actually reading the green mile right now:)

Great readathon vlog Ciara. 🍃🍂🍁☕🎃📚
Oooh cool, definitely need to watch the original movie!! And aw thank you - glad you enjoyed!✨🍂
My first Stephen King book was Christine I’m now reading the institute
Omg 3 books in 24 hours, you absolute queen! I have a free day tomorrow and you’re making me want to settle in and read!

OMG yesss someone finally doing a Stephen King readathon! You are the queen of this!!
Pet semetary is legit one of my favorite books of all time ❤️ Just such a thrill to read 🧟♂️
Such a great book!

SO CUTE!
THIS IS SO IMPRESSIVE!!! queen of stephen king and halloween vibes 🖤thank you for putting me in the biggest reading mood xx
yaaaaassss - queen of halloween is *exactly* what I'm going for! Thanks Cait - enjoy all of your weekend reading!🖤
When the bunny jumps into your arms 😭😭😭
hahaha, he’s so cute🥺 he doesn’t like slippy surfaces because he can’t grip so he always jumps😂
You should try reading some of His Short stories.
I definitely want to! I already have the Four Seasons collection which includes the Shawshank and Stand By Me stories so I'll probably start there!
I'm reading Skeleton Crew by him now. Love his short stories
Pet Sematary is the only King book I’ve read so far, and Misery is the next book on my list! This vlog started out as if directed to me and I’m here for it 😂
hahaha yay! I haven't made much progress with misery yet, but it seems super interesting, so definitely come chat to me when you read it!!

How are you able to watch TV & read at the same point?! You are incredible
omg thanks Rachael hahah! To be fair, I can do it but it makes my reading pace *way* slower!!
I can read in the car even though I have travel sickness
But Stephen King is so entertaining so it takes my sickness away
I always have to have something in the background while I'm reading, most of the time reading vlogs on very quietly. I don't know if it's from being from a large, loud family, or me being ADHD but it helps me comprehend what I'm reading a bit more. 😊
I’m more of a morning reader too!
Right?? I just find it so much easier - at night I’m like😴😴😴
This is such a fun vlog idea!! I'm really getting into Stephen King!!
If you don't like 'horror' read The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon by him. It's incredible but good if you're just getting into him
wow Ciara, this is impressive!! I'm glad you enjoyed all of them ^^ I plan to read Pet Sematary and Misery very soon!
THE BUNNY, OMG 😭 and the pumpkin looks so adorable 😍
loved this vlog 🧡🧡

Can we just talk about that bunny omg so cute
the cutest bunnies hahah
Under the dome is a great book by Stephen king and it was made into a tv show!
OMG THOSE BAGELS!! Didn’t see those anywhere (even though you said they’re average hahah) 😝
hahah, they are nice, just not as nice as I expected! I think they’re exclusively in Asda until the 31st!🙌🏻
Stephen King's best books are the ones that aren't horror books. Green Mile and The Body are good examples. Both are in his book Different Seasons.
Also your bunny!!!

Your eyes are magical

This was such a good video, now I want to read some Stephen King books, I've never tried any of his before cause I have no clue where to start

@@ciarascorner Ooh ok that sounds good, and Misery has really been making me intrigued recently, so maybe I'll try that one
Hi! I just finished Pet Sematary and it's my favourite Stephen King by far, and so a good one to consider starting with as well :)

Omg, you're so incredible, what's the recipe of your coffee?
Thank you! For coffee, I usually use vanilla coffee, oat milk and sugar and then if I'm feeling fancy, top with vegan whipped cream!
Oh god - I’ve never read Stephen King 😬😬 I’m intimidated!
Hahah! I’d never read any Stephen King until last year and now I’m hooked!
I have not read any Stephen King book, but I'm planning to start reading From A Buick 8 by Stephen King
hello hello what did you think? That’s usually not a beloved one in the King fandom tbh so I’m interested to hear your opinion on it😂
You couldn't pay me to drive up a snowy mountain in a tiny sports car. Nope
hahaha, right?? Especially not after watching this😳😂
I wish I had your reading attention span XD
hahaha thanks (although I can totally only maintain this level of attention for one day MAX)!
Lol. Her eyes and eye lids have a movement pattern in intro.
It's in the whole video, rather
She keeps looking above and closing her eyes intently like a blind person
She😂 you do know I get comment notifications right? Thanks for the observance, I think it’s just something I do when filming.
Do you ever use the library? It would save you a lot of space and money.
hahah, I’m sure you can guess the answer, but no😳 the library near me isn’t very good, perhaps if I move near a better one I will!

Love you do not leave me jan
I'm reading pet sematary
I also have IT
I will get cujo next
So I would say I am a great reader for 12 years old
NerdwithNovels good to see more 12 year old King fan’s out there, I have about 100 pages left of IT and I’m loving it. So so much
My Bookish Addiction I was 12 when I read It and it was my favourite book until I read Misery when I was 13 👍
I am 12 too. I love reading so much that if I go somewhere without a book I forget why i am there and if the place is near my house I would come back just to get a book.
I have pet semetary, black house, the shining and it...and im 12 too
Rada Orlovic make sure you read The Talisman before Black House, black House is the sequel 👍
The only Stephen King book I ever liked is It. :) Pet Semetary put me to sleep and Shining was just ok. His writing is not for me, unfortunately.
oooh that's interesting! Pet Sematary techincally sent me to sleep (because i was reading it so late)! hahaha! But i did enjoy it :)
LITERALLY HOW THE FUCK DID YOU MANAGE THIS?!
hahaha - I've been wondering the same thing!! Now, please excuse me while I go and hibernate to recover ahahaha
Maybe The Running Man was written that way on purpose to emphasize the fact that those belonging to a lower social class are not valued
You're probably right
Why is your phone on army time?
I mean? It’s a 24 hour clock - as far as I know that’s how most people have their phones!
I personally thought Carrie was really really crap.
Oooh, fair enough! I feel like it’s quite different to his other books, definitely not my favourite but I also didn’t hate it!
Me too. I’m having a Stephen king readathon this entire year and so far I’ve read 7 of his books. Carrie is by far my least favorite so far
Also just if you or anyone else is curious. Those 7 books are Carrie, The Institute, The Outsider, Geralds Game, The Shining, Pet Sematary, and The Long Walk
