Thank you so much!!! We live in a very small town in a very rural area of Oklahoma. Brother wanted me to take the machine to Oklahoma City to have the threader fixed. That's a 2 hour drive each way, not to mention the repair costs. Thanks to your video, my husband was able to replace the damaged needle threader in about 20 minutes. We are both very grateful to you!
Thank you million times! You saved me! It wasn't that easy, coz I'm a girl with blond hair, but I fixed this little monster!!! Same as guy in comment I'm leaving in a small village far away from any service centres and your tutorial is so clear that I did it by my self! THANK YOU!
You saved my life! I was able to replace my own needle threader and get back to Embroidery today. I live in the mountains and it’s really hard to take my machine to be serviced so I do whatever I can on my own. Your video was invaluable.
Thanks for the excellent tutorial! I was able to replace my threader easily in no time at all. I was a bit intimidated but your detailed step by step instructions gave me the confidence to tackle this job myself. Thanks again!😊
Thank you so much , really appreciate the clarity of instruction and kudos to your cameraman for such great focus allowing me to see how this is completed. Just changed mine and am so thrilled!!
FANTASTIC video!! You did an amazing job explaining every detail, the example on the marker board helped a lot! Thank you so much for taking the time to create and post this video. I'm looking forward to watching others you make!
Thank you for this instructional video, you have given me the knowledge and confidence I need for replacing the threader on my PR1050X myself. I wonder if you have any guidance on replacing one of the needle bar thread guides (last guide before threading the needle). My #5 guide is broken and I have located the part and see that there is a screw on the backside of the piece the guide is attached to. I can't comprehend a way to reach this screw, to loosen then tighten, without taking apart more things than I am comfortable with. I have already learned so much about my machine from watching your videos. Please continue to make more videos, they are appreciated.
Hi! I'm from another country, I really enjoy watching your videos. How often should we change this part? How do we know that exchange is necessary? Thank you :)
Steve, I so appreciate your videos. My Bro 1050x is making a squeaking noise as the embroidery arm moves. It sounds as though something needs lubrication. I regularly oil both the trace and needles. Do you have a video that can help? Mine is downstairs and I can't carry it up by myself. It is a two hour drive to a Brother dealer.
We got it changed out but now the little threader is going through the eye of the needle but then drops the thread instead of pulling it through the eye of the needle. Any advice on this? Thank you
Hello Steve from NC, USA. I enjoyed this video. I live in the country 1 hour from repair shop. I have Babylock EMP6 very old used machine. I don't feel it's cutting thread as several years ago....wondering if your video is applicable to my machine as they are sister machines? Thank you kindly.
Hi, Although we don't sell or work on the Babylock EMP6, it looks to be very similar to the Brother PR range. Our instructions on changing the Needle Threader should still apply. Best wishes, Steve.
What are the black and red wires just above and to the right of the needle threader? I thought the red wire was thread that had gotten stuck so I dug it out only to see that it wasn’t thread at all. Now I cannot get the number one needle to thread and the pressure foot will not come down as far as the other needles. What terrible thing have I done?
You are a wonderful teacher, but I am looking for a Service Repair Manual for my PR1050X. How can I purchase a book to teach myself how to do these repairs. At the moment I need assistance with the bobbin hook. I need to sync it with the needles. My needle is hitting the bobbin hook.
Hi Steve, deparatley trying to get my needle threader to work but it will not pass the cotton thru' and does not return to the top of the machine. I have a brother inovis 4000d - there is no u tube for the 4000
@@BamberSewingMachines thanks Steve, I did phone you and you gave me the answer so, the machine is going back to my mechanic as soon as weather permits but Thank-You for a great videoad for your help
for the life of me I can't get it off - can't tell what you're doing exactly with the screwdriver when you "switch the screwdriver out" only worked on it for 2 hours - will keep trying, but good video if I could figure it out :)
Its so nice to see Bamber sewings people servicing those machines, as I have no help in the country of Thailand. Steve is my hero
