Can Eric stay? He had insightful things to say and has a calming presence
Pete said he will be here for a while working on their latest project which they will be announcing during their Thanksgiving Marathon. I can't wait to find out what it is!
Agreed! Mallory Debrow he is cute too lol.
Eric is a terrific addition. Gave good descriptions and had a great demeanor. Great episode. I've been missing the regular run of the restaurant and hotel reviews. Would love to see a review of Victoria and Albert's. Great job guys!
yesorlando05 I second the idea of seeing a Victoria and Albert’s review!
I know. I don't think I've ever heard the words "Victoria and Albert's" come out of their mouths, lol. With it being the only 5 diamond restaurant in central Florida AND it's on Disney World property, I'm shocked it's never been reviewed on here. Would be GREAT to see!
oooh Eric is ADORABLE.... lets keep him!!!
Excellent review. SOLD. Booked my ADR after watching! Love it when a great dining experience makes Pete light up. (To be fair, I also love it when a rubbish dining experience unleashes a Pete rant)
Welcome Eric!! Good job. Looking forward to seeing you on more videos!
First of all welcome Eric to the group I see you as an asset to the group. Everyone as always did a great job.
Ha! Aww, poor Charles, he got so much hate at first (not from me). Glad it’s changed days now.
I didn’t hear the word Keto did I miss it?
I hope you all do a review of the new Snow White character dine at the wilderness Lodge!
Pete..I just have to let you know I just love you. I enjoy your reviews and info. I’ve been following you for only a year or so but I really just enjoy your shows. I love everyone that joins you at the table. Y’all are just precious! Keep on making us smile! :)
I like Eric's cool calming voice. Almost ASMR.
Pete nearly fell into Disney's trap. Disney's strategy for their restaurants is getting obvious. They over budget for the first 6 months, create the reputation/get the good reviews then get the accountants in to cheapen the whole thing. The real review for this restaurant will be next year. We all know the drill. If it maintains the quality then we can have hope for this restaurant.
WELL, WELL, WELL! And the food looked great, too! 😉
We will not mock Eric, he is adorable!!!
Lmao yes agreed let’s keep him.
Agree times 3 😆
Thank you Steve! I see that you try to get your point across and I noticed that others try to either take your point as their own or just belittle it. It is simply my opinion. I adore you, Steve! 🤗😎
Don’t you love how we review the hosts as much as they review the food? Lol...Eric you did a great job! I’ll give you a 10. 😉
Welcome Eric you did amazing... you guys are awesome! I love your Disney Dining Show but I miss the vlog style of actually feeling like I’m with you guys. I can understand it’s probably hard to enjoy the experience at the restaurant with a camera in your face but either way excellent review ❤️
Eric is adorable! WELCOME Eric!!!
No rum cake... that is the staple of all West Indian desserts
Sounds DELICIOUS and I'll definitely try it next visit. On another note, however, whereas the ultimate food/restaurant cliche items for the past few years have been kale and salted caramel, may I put in my vote for the most over-used "upscaling" menu epithet-- "crema" Jeez, we're talking mayo or salad dressing with a flavor--anything you can squirt from a bottle becomes a "crema" and adds $2 to the item :) This isn't just a Disney thing--but the vocabulary expansion on menus gets a little old, no? :) Meanwhile, as for goat being scary? Not to our huge latin american population which shows Disney is seeing ethnic guest trends going up, which is nice. They wouldn't dare put it on a menu in a high-traffic situation like this without a ton of research as to audience acceptance.
Watching this in 2020 like "...and then there was one."
I've been waiting for this review ever since hearing of the opening of Sebastian's bistro. Thanks for the great insight and opinions. Keep up the great work!
me too!!!
when I realize I'm falling asleep to the voices of DIS talkng about food....
Eric is Absolutely Awesome! I look forward to his future participation in the Dis videos! 👍😀👍
Great show but would love to see a review of the Caribbean vegetable curry for us veggies/vegans
Hi Eric! Welcome! Great job on your first show!
Great review! Sounds like a must do now
Nothing better than a 30min+ show. 👍🏻
Welcome to Eric.
Thank you for the review! Eric seems nice and is a good addition to the team.
"… an Apple store or an hospital." That was hilarious!
Love that we have a great restaurant at CB , now can you do a review on the Banana Cabana, which seems like it will just be the overflow waiting
Area of families waiting for there tables to be ready... (Kids on the bar stools) parents and there strollers standing behind them clogging up the whole area...never had that problem at the old location of the B.Cabana..
This seems like a job for, Craig, Kylie and the Ryno !
Cheers
I love you, Pete. Diets work best when not mentioned. You look fabulous, anyway.
Eric, you have a very nice speaking voice, very soothing lol. I hope you stay
Yep. Charles always tellin it how it is. real talk
God, I could listen to these guys all day. This show is the reason why I stopped watching Food Network.
Thanks for the review! I just stayed at Caribbean Beach and this wouldn't have even been on my radar if not for your video. I remembered your video, though, and was back at my resort resting and figured I should get dinner before heading to MNSSHP. I'm so glad I went to Sebastian's! Had a wonderful meal in a bright environment that rejuvenated me for the busy night ahead.
Look at you Pete you glowing..
Lol... love you guys
Let’s keep Eric! I think he makes a wonderful addition. You definitely can’t tell this was his first time on camera.
It's been 20 months since this review. It loved it, but REALLY miss Charles, Steve, and Eric.
I’m definitely getting some ASMR from new guy. I’ll accept him for now.
ASMR?
Thank you for ordering such a wide variety of dishes, so we can get the full sense of what the restaurant has to offer. Sounds like a winner! Welcome Eric!! Great review
Welp, after listening to your review of Sebastian's, I'm now off to the Disney website to see if I can get a reservation for our December holiday trip!
I like Eric, always nice to see some new faces
Eric is cute as a bug's ear. And he did a fine job, maybe a little nervous, but made his points well and contributed to the discussion. Welcome Eric!
I remember watching this when it came out! Sitting here at work and it randomly came on, it’s a nice blast from the past. Crazy how much the team has changed since then!
Woah hold on Eric is precious
Thanks guys! I made my reservation for first weekend in November.
Eric did a great job! Love his voice and his face! I could watch him all day!
Two questions:
1) When is Pete heading to Tokyo Disneyland? I heard that he was going to the Japanese parks soon.
2) Is he going to make any videos about Tokyo Disneyland (his experiences etc.)? I am so interested in those foreign parks at the moment haha.
ESpies was just there for my first visit this week. Would love Tokyo Disney content!
Eric did a great job! This was fun to watch and we can’t wait to eat at Sebastian’s in February after hearing this review, impressive!
Mouse Eared World how was it
Eric did a wonderful job. He is a great addition to the show. As far as Sebastian after this review I am considering going on my next trip in August 2019
Maria F. Have fun I was there for my birthday in February
Thank god Pete now occasionally goes off keto. Though it has done him a world of good he was starting to look haggard. Looks good now.
Interesting comments about this restaurant articulating and expanding on what Cathy was saying about the resort as a whole. Sterile, hospital, Hilton. What did Cathy say? Marriott. No Disney magic as she said and for some inexplicable reason which no one knows you all came down on her.
Disney magic does not mean putting pictures of Chip and Dale everywhere. It is a certain flair, a certain stylization which takes a culture or theme and puts it through a looking glass creating a Polynesian, a Wilderness Lodge or the pool at the Coronado. It's a touch of Disney theatrical which Cathy sees missing and everyone can see missing in the new Riviera or the Coronado tower addition turning the Disney skyline into a USA anywhere skyline.
But that's Iger for you. Putting his overpriced cafeteria stamp on everything. Who could imagine he'd be worse than Eisner?
And Pete you have a real knack for picking people. This new guy as everyone has been pointing out is a keeper.
Eric is hot
Looks like we found a winner!! We like you Eric!!!❤️❤️
Welcome, Eric!
Good point regarding decreasing quality, increasing price. I find these places are best when starting out, then decline when the bean counters try to squeeze every dime out of it. Hopefully won't happen, but I'm not optimistic.
Old port royal looked way better. It looks way to contemporary now.
I loooove Eric.... I too agree his voice is very ASMR!
Can y’all talk a bit about kids menu options on these videos? Picky kids here. Even if it’s just to tell us if they have anything standard or what the have to stay with the “theme”.
Thanks! You guys freaking rock!
And I think Eric did awesome!
Welcome to Eric! Great addition :)
Could y'all do a review of yak & yeti
Guys I love you too much but as a Belizean (Belize a country in the Caribbean) person let me help ya'll with some of those pronunciations. It pronounced Escabeche "s-ca-be-jay" and the Plantains is pronounced "plan-tin". Anyhow good job giving all the dishes a try just from my personal experience it looks like Jamaica, PR, DR, Trinidad and Belize are where most of the dishes are from. A excellent variety which really represents the Caribbean. I'm going to have to plan to trip to eat here real soon.
Welcome Eric (sp?)! You did a great job! It's nice to see a young man with a well kept beard who combs his hair in the morning. I'm old so I'm not a beard fan but if you're going to have one it is nice to see it trimmed. I'm really tired of looking at young guys with unkempt beards who look like they haven't run a comb through their hair in a year. Plus Eric seems very knowledgeable reviewing food and drink. Some people belong behind the camera and some people belong in front of the camera. Eric and his opinions belong in front of the camera.
Does Sebastian's Bistro serves Puerto Rican culinary specialties? As a matter of fact, Puerto Rico is part of the Caribbean archipelago.
Escovitch-
A process of cooking whereby meat (typically fish) is fried, then doused liberally with a pickling sauce made from vinegar, pimento, onions, pepper, (and sometimes carrots).
Eric is so much better than Sean.
Welcome Eric and great show!
I really appreciate the different personalities and variety of viewpoints at the table; watching this show has helped me so much when planning trips to Disney.
Also, a couple years ago when visiting the Florida Keys I had a frozen key lime pie on a stick and covered in chocolate that was amazingly good! The addition of some salt sounds genius.
Great review. Except.......you guys just made it harder to get a ressie at, lol. Always enjoy the food reviews, thanks!
My dad had a great friend from the Caribbean. They went out one day to find a live goat. When they told the owner they were going to slaughter the goat for cooking, he refused to sell it to them. (The curried goat dad's friend eventually prepared was delicious, although, as Charles noted, it contained bones.)
Thanks for this review! My wife and I will be staying at Carribean Beach for two weeks very soon and I look forward (now) to trying Sebastian's!
Great review as always guys. WDW food always sounds and looks delicious. The price=rediculous.
This menu actually reminds me of a restaurant that we used to have ... the Bahama Breeze restaurant. Now unfortunately, over time, our restaurant actually went out of business and closed. I can only say that it will depend on how much visitors like that type of food. If visitors like this type of cuisine, it will do great! Otherwise with all the food options at Disney, some may choose to go somewhere else.
Fantastic video as always team. Welcome Eric! Looking forward to seeing you on future episodes. You did a fantastic job!
Great review guys. Menu sounds awesome ! My son says we have to go on our next trip in 2 weeks ! , but I think we will wait til our February trip to try Sebastian's. Cant wait !
It looks like a Shoney's
Wonderful review! Eric was fantastic. Looking forward to future appearances.
I like when you compliment the staff. Too many restaurants fail to understand that service is nearly as important as the food. We can make good food at home. We go out for the experience. I'm glad the experience was great.
Come on Riviera Resort !!!
After going through Hurricane Michael, hearing this show calmed me down a lot. You guys rock, okay?
We made a lunch reservation for our trip in February, was debating whether to keep it,but now looking forward to it ,thanks for the detailed review and welcome aboard Eric!
Erik is cuteee
Eric must stay
Wonderful review, sounds like all the work to transform the resort is really paying off. Eric is a delightful addition.
I really would like to try this place!! Thanks guys!!
Another great episode from the team. Hopefully this is the start of doing more resort restaurant and vlogs from the DIS team
He's perfect!
Now they need to change the restaurant at POR!! Disney has so much potential and that place is the pits!
White and beige. Pretty much the description for every new thing that Disney is doing at their resorts.
Great job Eric :) Can't wait to see more of you and a fresh energy you bring.
"Chumpy." ;)
It looks like the new Panera Bread cafe layout. Looks great can’t wait to go and try for myself.
Thanks , planning to try it when I visit later in October
a great review, and a great episode of the dining show. eric is a good new addition, seems to know what he is talking about
i am pleased with this review good to hear the new restaurant is a great new addition to the resort for i have been thinking of staying there
*insert Gif of someone fanning themselves after seeing Eric* and *insert Stitch saying hi* hahaha!!!
Im staying in CBR for 2 weeks next may I am so excited!
I would have liked to hear your opinions on some of the vegan options on the menu. I heard there are quite a few here.
Hi ERIC!! ERIK? ERICK? ERICH? We will never know
Many peruvian influences in those dishes!
Eric is a great Addition! I hope we get to see him often!
