I've stayed at this resort numerous times, and is has become my go to for my WDW vacations. For those that purchase the refillable mug, my last visit was 2022, there were drink machines by the ice machine in each neighborhood. No need to walk to Old Port Royale, except for food. If you can get the Jamaica section, building 41, you are literally a 2 minute walk to the skyliner. So convenient to get to EPCOT and DHS. I may be crazy, but after a long day in the park I enjoy a leisurely walk around the jogging trail to unwind before heading to bed. The resort is so peaceful and beautiful at night. I agree, the resort is very spread out, but is does create a less congested experience from the the more compact resorts; especially during peak times. Another perk of this resort is it's a short walk to the Riviera Resort for, in my opinion, one of the best character breakfasts at Topolino's Terrace. Great food, lots of character interaction with Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy, amazing views from the terrace, and a skyliner station close by. Hard to get reservations, but worth it if you can get one. I love this resort, but I do miss the brighter Caribbean colors that were replaced in the rooms and around the resort during the last update. I did enjoy the food at the redesigned quick service food area, but I preferred the bigger food variety and design of the original food court.
We really liked Caribbean Beach. We requested the Martinique section which is close to Old Port Royale and costs more as it is a preferred section. We took advantage of it also being close to the Riviera resort and mostly went there for quick service meals. We used the Riviera skyliner station since it was closer than the main skyliner station. It’s a very pretty resort though it’s quite large.
We have CBR booked for February. The skyliner sold us on this resort. The size of the resort is a bit intimidating, so your review was really helpful. You are concise, yet easy to understand (some bloggers talk really fast). Thanks so much!
My kids loved that pool when they were little. I recently tried Banana Cabana and it was delicious. Thanks for pointing out all the color details. Tic-Tac-Four and bunnies, Let's Go!
I love love love your videos. Booked my first cruise on the wish (Jan 2024) and can’t stop watching your tours and food reviews etc. You pay attention to allllll the things I would and I love it! Great videos thank you for your hard work!
Hey Demi! I stayed at Caribbean Beach in the Jamaica section in Oct 2020. It is a very beautiful resort, but I’m not so sure I would want to stay there again. It’s a very big resort and with the large amount of walking, lack of elevators and multiple bus stops, in my opinion there are better options. Having the Skyliner Station there is great, so I think that is their biggest redeeming factor. These Little Mermaid rooms are absolutely adorable. I think it is a much better theme than the previous pirate rooms.
And I liked that you stayed in a room that has pictures of my favorite movie the little mermaid. I also like how when you do these videos you describe things. Which I like because I am visually impaired.
Thank you so much for this detailed video!! I am going with my four boys for the first time in January and this is where we are staying and this video is so helpful
I loved your review, I have always been super curious about the Caribbean beach resort and I loved it... Will definitely consider for my toddler's first Disney vacation... a lot of walk yes, but a lot to do too... and the pools look great!
Stayed here two weeks ago and loved it! We were lucky that we stayed in Trinidad in a 5th sleeper on the 1st floor. Quick walk to the Skyliner and Bus Stop. Very close to Spyglass. Main pool was closed for refurbishment but we didn’t have time for swimming anyways. Not sure I would have lived my stay as much if I were staying in any of the other sections. There is a lot of walking
Love, love, love the refurbed CB rooms! Nice they have done a sofa Murphy bed, rather than the table Murphy bed. Makes the room feel bigger, especially if your a party of two! The colours and the details make it feel very Caribbean but with the little mermaid touches give it just the right amount of Disney…the vanity unit and tiles in the bathroom are gorgeous! Much better than some of the refurbed rooms *cough* contemporary *cough*
I think a lot of the hate Caribbean Beach gets is from people who stayed there when it was a giant construction zone when the Riviera and Skyliner were being built. I think that if I were staying in the Aruba section I would use the Riviera for dining and transportation.
Loved this review! Thanks for posting it. Caribbean beach resort is one of the ones that is hard to find a good overview of and I guess, as you explained, the sheer size of the resort. Add a “thanks” button to your videos so we can donate to your next adventure!! 😁
TBH I'm not a big fan of any of the moderate resorts except Gran Destino Tower. The artwork here is pretty sweet, though. And thankfully there's enough outlets for "gadgets and gizmos a-plenty"!
Thank you for all the videos! Plan on staying there (cbr) after labor day but don't know which area we ll be housed (i requested jamaica and aruba) We will have a rental car. Can we in theory drive from one section of cbr and park and another that is closer to the skyliner or main pool? We're planning to go back and forth to Epcot with a small toddler and want to avoid there buses and extensive walks.
I think that if I, or my family, were to stay at Caribbean Beach, it would be a non park vacation. There is so much to do here, and easy access to other areas, that it would make sense to me. With the size of the resort, I would want to make sure to enjoy it as much as possible. Perhaps this would be a good Split Stay resort?
I like ur channel so I’m gonna have diff opinion. Carribean beach resort for those with small children is perfect. It’s visual stunning beach vibes spread out. All utubers complain it’s spread out that’s cuz u don’t stay there so h don’t give accurate reviews. I stayed for a eeek and loved walking around hotel building only vibes r boring to me. The pools r awesome for kids and play grounds sand areas the food is good it has lots options for quick service. Close to fancier resorts too but it’s too pic for sure. Only negative they cleaned our room on 3rd day so floors get sand on it bring small vacuum if driving best resort if u have kids.
I appreciate you sharing your experience! I’m not an Orlando local, so I’m actually staying at the resort when I’m reviewing it and going to the parks and hanging around the resort. I love a lot about this resort, I think it has so much to offer, especially if you are just doing resort days, but personally, it’s too big for me. I don’t have a car and I think a lot about accessibility from years of living with and going away with my grandparents. If you have a car, it’s definitely a different story. But depending on where your room is, there’s a lot of walking, waiting for the internal bus, and not being close to a quick service. But that’s why there’s a Disney resort for everyone! Thanks for sharing!

I enjoyed this video. I loved that you did not say HERE / THERE a million times like most other vloggers.
Glad you liked it!!

Definitely the best perk about Aruba! Love the dining at The Riviera!

I had no idea about this 😭 Thank you so much I just turned it on! I can’t believe I didn’t know!
Love CBR so much ❤
It’s so nice!!
I thought H20 products individual toiletries were going away??
Disney basically bought their brand look. But it just will no longer say H20.

Yes absolutely!!
Do you know if they plan on refurbishing every room like this? I love it!

The room reminds me of the French Quarter Double bed room. I can sleep on that bed i'm 4'11.5! (i'm short deal with it)
Nice!
It’s a bummer you can’t book the little mermaid rooms outright
Or what section you want in general!
And where walking walking... 😂
Hahaha!!
