So yeah, the thing with Assassin creed is because it is based on v-sabotage, it really is stealth first/fight last. That sort of gameplay isn't for everyone and if you pick this up thinking its a heroquest style dungeon crawler, you'll probably end up a sad bear. That said, this style of stealth and planning play isnt common, so if that niche does sound intriguing to you, do check it out.
I bought a copy at retail. I actually love the standees over minis as it saves so much space. It's a surprisingly fun game although I'm terrible at stealth in that game.😂
I’ve got the retail version of Wonderland’s War and greatly prefer the standees to the minis that are in the deluxe. I’m not much into painting, so they’d likely never get done and would just be grey lumps of plastic which are a bit hard to distinguish from each other when playing.
Interesting concept! I watched your Top 100 and the "20 games only" list yesterday, and I noticed you also enjoy mini painting, which is how I got interested in board games again. I'd be curious to hear your list of good miniature games in terms of gameplay, mini quality (over quantity imo), etc. Oftentimes the minis look great, but the gameplay is only okay, it seems. I'm interested in games that I'll be likely to play and enjoy with friends that also includes great looking miniatures that are fun to paint. Cheers!

Hey, that actually looks fun. Unlike another recently released installment of the AC franchise...
Yea it is a fun game, though this is more of a puzzle as opposed to a “let’s kill everything” like you might find in a dungeon crawler.
@@tiredguy2753 nice. I dig the dungeon tile thing.

I've done a video just on the game i've painted on the channel.
