J.D. and Dalton's Steam Cleaning Service rides again! Glad to see you get some sponsorship, well deserved 👍 This was tons of laughs and chuckles again. Thanks 👍
I truly appreciate that you actually explain the process of repairing a hole in sheet steel.. it's SO important to know what product to use at what point you're at.. you HAVE to start with a firm base, as you need that fiberglass as a base for the plastic filler to work from. You really shouldn't need a TON of plastic once you've go a base built up. And your finishing product, your glaze should be SO very thin and used extremely sparingly.. a good body man is hard to find. My uncle Sam worked up in North Jersey for 40 years.. he was probably one of the best unknown body men in the area.. he taught me a LOT and it's good to know even though I only use it for my personal projects, but Dalton you speak the truth with this.. thank you!!
Another great save! When I do floorpan repairs like that I spread a good coat of Blackjack roofing cement before installing the new pan. It quiets it a bit and keeps water out. Thanks for all the good tips.
40:30: - Beat to fit and paint to match! I learn a lot from you, like at 49:00 - gutter mesh and short strand fiberglass! You give me the courage to do some bodywork this spring!
I was about to ask if you’d ever do a livestream from your shop. Then, I remembered that you work on rusty junk. So, I referenced my own experience working on rusty junk, and came to the conclusion that the editing process is key to preserving the version of myself I want the world to see. I’d imagine this is true with you, as well.
Dalton, can I tell you how much i appreciate your channel. You are actually working almost the entire video. You dont go over every single inch of the car slowly and check if things work for 20 minutes...."Welp the clock doesn't work, dangit. Let a fellar look over this cassette player" most annoying thing channels do to make the video longer. You dont do that and i greatly appreciate your channel.
She turned out not too shabby. I’d drive it! Might be a good project for Jess to fix up a dash cover and seat covers for it, glue in some new material to the head liner, she’s mint. Next in part two!

"Thanks to the wonders of violence, I got that out." As a former grunt, current telephone cable splicer, and lifelong all-around dirtbag who happens to have an English Writing degree (well, 7/8ths of one anyway), I appreciate your well thought out/wiseassed narration, Dalton. Keeps me watching.
You are the best used car sales man I have ever seen, I can just see that Pontiac siting in a car loot with “runs great, good cruiser” righten on the windshield
I absolutely love these kind of builds, nothing crazy, very little money spent, and all things a normal guy could do. I built my old pickup in my driveway, and i guarantee i have more fun wrenching on and driving it every summer than any guy with a pristine show quality corvette ever does 😎
Great job on that cruiser. Definitely would watch more of it. Maybe more interior budget mods. Rear seat cover. Dash. Door panels. Etc. A great buy and project.
I'll be honest I used to watch VGG "you know who I'm talking about" religiously but that channel no longer does the things that made it great. Then i discovered Pole barn garage and Junk yard digs and they are the best automotive find and fix channels on you tube. Pole barn garage is my favorite because it's pure comedy gold and realistic. Did I mention it's wholesome family values! PBG IS AWESOME. Thanks for the great content and hard work!!
Don't know what you're talking about. Derek still does revivals all the time and says he always will. Just watched his latest video tonight with him and his sons working on an old John Deere M tractor in heavy snow around zero degrees just like he would've years ago. He's a top notch guy! Sure he's got more toys and nicer shops etc. now but he's still a great UA-camr
I like PBG and Junkyard Digs, subbed to both, but strong disagree on VGG. I'm glad the revivals have been toned down a bit as well; while I love watching those, it's nice to see something happen with those vehicles too! Rather than them being made to run once, then put out to pasture and never see them again. Derek has sooooo many rigs out in his field from revivals, I love it when he brings one in the shop and does something unique with it.
Good morning from Cape Cod 🦈 I learned the water trick 40 years ago, I'm glad that you debunked all the chemicals you have to pour down your carb. Great job turning a piece of crap into a presentable cruiser. Oh yes.... GM Scrap metal, only the best floorboards.. or those coin operated wash machine shells.. bravo👌👌👌 by the way, I love this episode, learned alot about extreme body repair👍
Simply brilliant! Look at how much joy and amusement it brings to the whole family. Infinitely better than what I'm seeing in this food court: people staring into their cell phones. You struck a blow against "The Man" with this build.
You know i was a fan of this here Pontiac. But man, im a believer now! Premium oil change. Deluxe SEMA quality valve covers, and a Foose quality pant job. It's the finest quality touches that keep me coming to the PBG channel. I however did not expect the NOS floor pans and upholstery, bravo. I actually wouldn't mind a little bit more from the 77, its will to live is impressive. It's definitely loyal and deserves another $500 lavished upon it. And, wow the camera makes a difference 👌🏻🤘🏻🇺🇸
Dalton I like what your doing with old cars by turning them into budget cruisers. So many working families can’t afford high dollar cars as a weekend cruise and your helping fill that void. And your finishing product, your glaze should be SO very thin and used extremely sparingly.. a good body man is hard to find. My uncle Sam worked up in North Jersey for 40 years.. he was probably one of the best unknown body men in the area.. he taught me a LOT and it's good to know even though I only use it for my personal projects, but Dalton you speak the truth with this.. thank you!!
1:14:32 "This is just one duct tape away" hahahaha Awesome! :)
You're gonna have to change your name to pole barn marina because you got a gaggle of land yachts there sir 😂
Some might even say he has a veritable flotilla of land yachts.
Haha
Another great save!
When I do floorpan repairs like that I spread a good coat of Blackjack roofing cement before installing the new pan. It quiets it a bit and keeps water out.
Thanks for all the good tips.
40:30: - Beat to fit and paint to match! I learn a lot from you, like at 49:00 - gutter mesh and short strand fiberglass! You give me the courage to do some bodywork this spring!
Good luck! It's always worth a try
“ tune ups” and “ rebuilds” in a spray can. I love this channel ❤
So true...
The things I say when trying to get leaf spring shackle bolts out are things that only God and the bugs in my rafters can hear
He does do livestreams here and there, but they are visible for channel members only.

Shoutout to the bird that was flying around the whole explanation around 58:04 😂
That's Carl. He's basically immune to every disease now I'm pretty sure. And still high 😂😂
I thought it was risky in case it cr*pped on the new paint 😆
This was one of my favorite PBG vids. 👌
This woulda been perfect for That SEMA build Dalton.
Go tell them to let me in
Too nice for SEMA !
I like it! Not many of these left around.
Unironically I think I've seen Dalton do so much body work I could probably try out some of the tips to repair the rust and hail damage on my Intrepid lol-
Give it a go man
Dalton self tappers fixes everything thank you!
JD’s the real deal ..just make sure he’s got his Tetanus up to date !! 😂😂
"Thanks to the wonders of violence, I got that out."
As a former grunt, current telephone cable splicer, and lifelong all-around dirtbag who happens to have an English Writing degree (well, 7/8ths of one anyway), I appreciate your well thought out/wiseassed narration, Dalton. Keeps me watching.
Another winner. I love that color. I hope we see more of it.
You are the best used car sales man I have ever seen, I can just see that Pontiac siting in a car loot with “runs great, good cruiser” righten on the windshield
Very much enjoyed this, especially the drain plug bit, it being the only remnant of the floor.😆
Thanks for the great content
Those big cars were awesome
I 1:18:02 it dude!! But you really need to do the air cleaner lid flip!! Gives you at least 100 hp!! Lmao 😂😅😂😅
I have no idea what happened at the front of my post. Anyway, I loved the video and actually gave me some ideas for my truck!
"lets go steal some stop signs'' i felt that one. 😂
@@Truckman1980people just want to put others down to feel cool is all
NNKH has great content as well.
Personally, i like all 3 of them and will continue to support all of them as well
The sound of pure terror when Dolton found the locking lug nut 😂😂 priceless
Thanks for the early video!
You bet! This one came in right under the wire, so not too early
Nice job on the Pontiac. Ford Crown Victoria is another car you can get on the cheap and fix up for for little money and will run for years.
Good morning from Cape Cod 🦈 I learned the water trick 40 years ago, I'm glad that you debunked all the chemicals you have to pour down your carb. Great job turning a piece of crap into a presentable cruiser. I'm with you, I'll drive a worthless if he Pontiac with pride over any econo box Camry any day 🤘 you mentioned painting JD's car 2 years ago, I can't believe it's been that long. Keep up the great work guys and the awesome content 👍✌️🇺🇲
I LOVE this comedy show!!!!😂😂❤❤ And you did a GReAT job putting lipstick on that PON! 👏
Almost forgot to put new brake drums on it 😂
My first car was a 79 Trans Am back in 1985. I’ll always have a place in my heart for that car. I’m 55 now, but I’ll have another one before I kick the bucket. Thanks for the Pontiac love, Dalton.
you sir are the turd polishing king taking turd polishing to a superior level
Oh yes.... GM Scrap metal, only the best floorboards.. or those coin operated wash machine shells.. bravo👌👌👌 by the way, I love this episode, learned alot about extreme body repair👍
I’ve been having fun in a AMC Concord lately. Got it for cheap and it’s fun to cruise around in
Babe wake up, Dalton just uploaded a video
I love how the intent was pure in the beginning but became chaotic and well engineered by the end
I love you videos you and your son, now your girlfriend too. I have been following your channel since the beginning.
Thanks
Thanks so much!
You,..my man...do things exactly like the rest of us! thank you for being real. these cars need people like us. Thank you for keepin real automobiles alive and on the road. Would enjoy drinkin a beer with you.
