Amazing recipe! I just made some using it and the proportions are perfect. If u wanna spice up the flavor I added 1/4 teaspoon onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon dried chimes, 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley, and 3/4 teaspoon cheddar popcorn seasoning (as weird as it sounds it really take it to the next level) and it came out perfect. Enjoy :)
this is great, i like to cook just for myself once in a while. i do cook for the family most days but sometimes i just like to make something for myself. im always after a single serve recipe. im glad i found your channel, by the way new subscriber
Hi! I was craving mac and cheese so badly and wanted to try your recipe! Let me say, this is was so good and easy to make! Thank you for making such amazing and easy recipes! 😊
I’m not a massive fan of macaroni and cheese but suddenly this last week I have had a massive craving for it so I am definitely going to try this recipe over the weekend
Super perfect proportions just made it. But, added my own twist. 1teaspoom ground mustard, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne and salt pepper to taste. The only thing i put it in the oven and it dried up. It was still good. But, just keep it away from the oven.
I also love experimenting with adding flavors to this recipe (as well as everything I make for myself). For this dish it is so easy since you are starting with cheese and pasta perfection.
If you don't want a lot of sauce then I would suggest you use less milk than called for in the recipe. Maybe add in a little at a time until you arrive at the consistency you prefer.
hello this looks delicious! can the cheese sauce be made and held in a warmer? and can the pasta be kept refrigerated until needed? thanks! I am looking to make individual servings through out the day.
Yes, they both can be made ahead of time and stored separately until you are ready to make the mac and cheese. You might need to thin the sauce a little with a bit more milk if the sauce thickens too much.
This is great but pleaseee tell us to cook the pasta before we stary making the scauce cause there is nothing worse than having to wait for your pasta to cook before you can add it in 😂

Just a tip when cooking the butter you wanna cook it a bit bc butter has water in it and will make it lumpy so you wanna cook the water off

That's a cool way to spice up the recepie! I used 1/4 teaspoon of smoked paprika instead of the mustard powder and that was nice too!

No need to add it

can we use mozerella cheese????
We don't recommend it.
Is the dry mustard a must?
It adds a great flavor, but you can leave it out if you want.
@@OneDishKitchen might be a dumb question but will yellow mustard condiment work?
@@dachshund_gaming I wouldn't recommend it. Just leave the dry mustard out, if necessary.
What type of flour
All-purpose flour - onedishkitchen.com/macaroni-cheese-recipe-for-one/
did one dish kitchen quit youtube?
No, we're still here. We will have new videos coming out in March. Thanks for watching!
Yeah it look soooooooo goooood. give me give me give me give me
😍
And that’s cheddar cheese right
Yes, cheddar cheese.
Thank you I made it was really good 😌
It looks like Mac and cheese soup sorry no offense 😂
I agree, it’s a little too saucy
I don't know where she got her butter/flour proportions, but I stirred forever and STILL had lumps. Terrible recipe.
Can I use mazzarella cheese instead of chedder? I only have it
Cheddar melts much better but in a pinch mozzarella will work.
