I watched Sopranos recently for the first time ever. I was unsure of the show at first, seemed a bit slow for a 2023 view but episode by episode it grew on me. By season 3, it already became one of my favourite shows of all time, the writing, the acting, the character growths are phenomenal. It was around season 5 that I mistakenly learned of James' passing and I was shocked. I had a love-hate relationship with Tony in this series, much as I did with Walter in Breaking Bad, but I was so sad the actor passed away. One of the best leading performances I have ever seen, his entire acting felt so real and accurate. This commercial brings a smile to my face, thinking back at this character and actor, thank you mister Gandolfini!
