I am from Kolkata and I was a student in one of the three Jewish schools for 14 years from Nursery to Class 12 and did my entire schooling there. My school was "Elias Meyer Free School & Talmud Torah" and it has students from all sections of scciety, with majority being Hindus and Muslims, and a very rare few Jews. There's also the famous Jewish bakery in New Market area, called the "Nahoums".

I just don't understand why people the world over hate the Jews so much what have they done in India thousands of Jews comes as tourists we treated them with kindness and we are eager to know more about them their culture and so on they are humans too you know.

I come from a village that was settled by the Jews, and believe me, Jews are not even considered as a different religion. Judaism and Jews are accepted as part of the community. I have a many Jewish friends and they are happy in India. That is the reason you will still find Jews staying In India. IMO Jews and Parsis have contributed so much to this country's history and earned respect.
