Very pretty !!! Matching set lol . My fave colors blues & silvers !! I love it. I bought a few vases to.pour over about 6 months ago but just haven't gotten around to it but this has lit a little spark under my butt. Lol. My bedroom decor is all in grey/blues silver & whites ...its a very relaxing calming color combo . I love it. Great pours Christine !! 😘😘😘😘😘
I am in love with the Lukas indigo, and impressed in general with Lukas Kryl paints! These are lovely. I often just do vases, glass yogut containers, jelly jars, and Dollar Store glass when I want to paint and don't have any creative juices flowing per se, sometimes it leads me doing something great on a canvas. BTW, I'm getting the word out to the paint community not to use Titebond glue as a replacement for Elmer's Glue All if you use glue and water as a PM...(know you don't Chritina) It will mix great with water and Floetrol, but the moment you add paint it seizes up like slime! I now have 3/4 of a gallon to last me the rest of my days for repairs, card making, whatever! BTW, if I have a lot of cases with deep depressions on the bottom, I will pour glue on the bottoms creating a flat surface for paint to flow over. It takes a couple of days to dry, but saves a bit on every bit of paint.
I've never done this before, and you've inspired me! I'm wondering what the lip of the vase looks like when it's dry and whether there's something you need to do to make it come out smooth and not drippy looking?
Hi Christina. Enjoying your videos. You are so talented. Couple questions about vase poring. What consistency are your paints? How do you know how much paint to use? How long does it take the vase to cure before removing from cup? And is there anything needed to lip or top of the vase after it is cured. Thank you for your help.
I use more pouring paint without silicone. I do have paint mixing videos up in my tutorial section of my channel. I wait at least 6 days before I resin them. You can spray a clear varnish on them as well. Watch the video I put up today to see how I prep them for finish work.
Christina Welch I will watch your video. Thank you for a quick response. I’ve watched some on your Monday night live shows. Will try to catch you this Monday. Thank you for your help always!
it is a tad thicker than regular pouring consistency. Mound on a mound. I mix with glue and floetrol, no water. I have links to my paint mixing videos in the description.
Thanks for the video. Only suggestion is that it would have been a better video if you would have shown your mixing and colors. We were just looking at the vase, while you were prepping. Thanks
Love how the vase turned out. Putting the rack over the canvas makes a lot of sense.
Lovely colours 😊
Christina, this vase and painting are lovely -- simply soft and serene! Thank you!! Hugs!!
That was amazing! The colors stayed unmuttled.
Oh so stunning!!! Love it, cannot wait to see it dry!
All your work is ALWAYS amazing!!!

Absolutely beautiful, guess this one is going in the new living room, lol!❣️
Beautiful! I would really love to see you make your cup when you do these. I paint some vases, and I could sure use your input.
Thank you! Take a look at this live video night ua-cam.com/video/VHdT46UHW6s/v-deo.html

I have that slime issue with glue all and metallics, no all, but some. Add floetrol first and then the glue.
Wow I love it!
I would’ve liked to also see you mix your paint and the colors of your paints I can’t find it in there this one’s beautiful thank you for sharing
Colors are listed at the beginning of the video in the order I layered them. I did 3 layers. My camera didn't pick it up, I'm sorry for that.

Hello and congratulations it's beautiful can you tell me if the amount of paint is the same for all the colors thank you
I like to use at least 6 ounces total so I get good coverage.
Absolutely beautiful, how do you seal your vases?
I use Stone Coat Epoxy
@@ChristinaWelch thank you.
Beautiful ! Do you seal that with varnish or resin or anything like that?
I seal them with resin.
... thank you! I still have some resin left over from my coasters that I made I will use that as well...!
is the paint thick or thin? and did you mix the paint with water and/or floerol?

yes, sorry about that.
Beautiful, but would have been nice to see how you layered the paint and not have your hand block the paint cup.
can't see what you are doing . Camera is to far above your ands beautiful work!
Beautiful!!
Gorgeous!!
