Nuno a true badass living legend just plugs in his guitar , makes sure his rat pedal is on and then just fcking rocks!

Extreme, STP, Sublime, and RHCP are my favorite bands from the 90s. The critics and a lot of the public loves band that take a new style of music mainstream. I like bands that are innovative on their own (even if it doesn't popularize a new genre) and have great chops (to support/create great songs).
All of those rose to fame in the 90s, but were formed in the 80s. (Although some just barely) I find that a decade earlier I like the 80s bands that had a formed in the 70s! Certain pedigree

I know all these shows they say things, but we all know damn well, if you been around, this is all been practiced many, many times during sound check and can get away with "I haven't played this before" which is true, because they played it during soundcheck ,and not a live crowed, so it becomes true. Yes, he hasn't played it before (in front of a live crowd). Yea I know, the magic gets lost but that's how it is. All these practiced 'interactions' for ' oh I got a surprise guest, let's hear it' but it's just not true anymore and I'm angry about it. Back in the 80's 90's, You'd get these awkward guests that sometimes nailed it, sometimes didn't. Now? No , it's all pre rehearsed and made to seem like it's something unique, but it's not. When you notice it, you cannot unsee it. Was it great? YES!!. Was Nuno cool as hell? YES. It's just so hard to tell nowadays.
I always try to be open minded with replacement singers, but this just isn't close to the same. Just sounds too sterile despite the band being solid. Nuno is awesome as always.
