@@youssefsalimi7473 thank you! Treatment is 2 medications plus eye drops, for eye drops you need the ones that are just saline not the medicated allergy drops. The medicated drops can cause blindness & severe irritation if over used! The pills 1 is called antiviral drug the other is a steroid called prednisone, prednisone taken 1 time daily for 7 days, anti viral drug taken 3 times a day for 7 days. Oh also very important is B vitamin every day! I ate 1 pill vitamin B daily but in some countries they inject it for fighting this disease
I was not given a cause so I’m not really sure why it happened, I can tell you before it happened I relied on my father & husband to support me so I never had to work but I got bored so I had recently started a small business online.. i had been staying up late in the night working so I wasn’t getting much sleep. There was a few nights I did not sleep at all & stayed up all night working so I would go 24 hours with no sleep. I did that 3 times, the 3rd time I did not sleep it was about 1pm when I realized my right eye would not close. It was 2 day later my whole face was affected. I’ve since heard that lack of sleep/sleep deprivation can cause Bells Palsy so I think this is why it happened to me, but there might also be genetic factors as well
I was not optimistic, I was very afraid & seemed to only be getting worse.. then EXACTLY 3 weeks later I started to improve & every day I got better but not till 3 weeks in. Do not be discouraged your mom will be ok 💕 best for her right now is to rest as it’s very scary when this happens to you, almost feels like a punishment.. i was asking god what I did wrong 😳🙈 but the important thing is to have hope & be kind to your mom, turns out it’s very rare for this problem not to go away in a month. I hope this helps. Wishing your mom a speedy recovery 🦋🎄💞

BP hit me quite suddenly at work and started with a sharp pain behind my left ear. My mouth , tongue and nose went numbe like a shot of novicaine and my left eye seem to be having spasms. My condition worsened over the weekend. I'm unable to blink/shut my left eye, have left eye blurred vision, my left nostril is completely numb and liquids and food escape from left side of my mouth when drinking and chewing. This is all new to me and although the pain has completely subsided it has taken a emotion toll on me. Trying to stay positive and I'm thankful it wasn't a stroke or heart attack.

I've got permanent facial palsey. I only have it bad enough to where I look like I have a permanent grouch on though. Kind of like Clint Eastwood in most of his movies. I try to be friendly and joke around with people but they take me the wrong way all of the time. They are scared of me. When they see me psychopath or sociopath are the words that pop into their heads. I'm really no different than anybody else though. It sucks that they are so fixated on petty bull crap like outward appearances that they prejudge me before they even have a chance to see who I really am. In effect it has made me into somewhat of a loner which doesn't help my situation. I just get tired of all the judgmental crap and discrimination and two facedness that goes on. You can't really tell when I am smiling that much. My face looks basically the same no matter. I have it on the left side of my face. There is no drooping of facial muscles or upward turn. There is just sort of a flat emotionless look about me. You really wouldn't know that I had facial palsey unless I was to tell you. And when I do tell them they still think that I am a psycho or whatever dumb ass shit pops into their minds at the moment. It has costed me promotions and other opportunities and makes hard to find friendship or companions.

** I truly hope someone can read this & gain hope** but you WILL BE OKAY. I remember when I first got it.. I was super down and scared. But I knew eventually it would go away. Staying positive is the first step. I first got it December 13th 2022. Now it’s Jan 5th and I’m about 90% healed. Take your medication, take your b12, run hot water on your face (every single) shower, do face exercises, massage your face & stay positive. That’s what I did. Don’t just sit around and let it run it’s course. Doing those little things HELP TREMENDOUSLY.. If you want it gone sooner than later then you have to go above & beyond. I even got acupunctures done. You’ll be okay I promise. Hopefully this helps someone 💛 you’re beautiful!

Research about taking Vitamin D3 supplements - MOST people are very deficient in Vitamin D3. I think it will help tremendously with bring down the inflammation in the facial nerve(s).
I use to get Herpes Simplex 1 (just cold sores) whenever I was stressed or there's was ABRUPT CHANGE of weather patterns (that's physical stress to the body).
BUT since taking 15,000 IU's of Vitamin D3 daily - I have NOT gotten any cold sores since I started taking the supplements (several years now).
I also NOT have had any colds or flu since taking the supplement. Vitamin D3 helps with your immunity IMMENSELY!
Vitamin D3 brings down the INFLAMMATION in your body - (Bells Palsy is inflammation to the facial nerve).
I, personally, take 15,000 IU's of Vitamin D3 daily, (1) Magnesium Malate 425mg X 2 times a day and (1) Vitamin K2/MK-7 90mcg daily. Magnesium helps with your immunity among its other many benefits. Vitamin K2/MK-7 helps with absorbing the Vitamin D3 supplement more, in addition to our needing Vitamin K2 daily.
I, personally, wouldn't rely on taking a multi-vitamin to get the high dosage you really need at this time.
I hope this information helps you in getting better and you WILL. Take care.😊💖

Was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy on the left side of my face exactly two weeks ago, I'm 29 years old. Today I'm finally seeing some movement in my mouth, cheek, nose and forehead.
I did face exercises, massages and took vitamin B12 tablets, anything I could find that could potentially help with the recovery of my nerves and keeping the muscles in my face active/healthy.
Try not to stress, be impatient or get worried when things don't improve. The first four days for me my condition got gradually worse until I couldn't move anything and I was depressed, stressing about things being permanent and so on edge about it all I pinched a nerve in my neck/shoulder. This made recovering more uncomfortable and my mental health suffered a lot throughout it all.
I can't recommend enough trying to stay positive, eat healthy, take care of your face and affected eye, do things to keep your mind off what's happening and also REST! I went to three different doctors before one of them finally said I should be taking time off work to rest and recover. Even though the rest of your body is working fine, you are still sick and you need to rest and recover.
Wishing everyone else here a smooth and fast recovery.

Tomorrow (March 29th) marks 5 weeks since onset of my BP and Friday (March 31st) marks 5 weeks since diagnosis. As of right now I’m at about 80% recovered. The first big improvement came 3.5 weeks after onset. The first improvement was that my smile looked almost normal. Now I can whistle again (one week ago I could not). Just remember to stay positive. I got myself so depressed by saying “what if it’s permanent?” It didn’t do me any good to look at the what ifs. Find something to keep your mind off of it and take the small victories when they come. If you came to this comment section looking for encouragement like I did when I first got BP, just know that things will get better.

I was in a bad car accident that twisted up my spine badly. This happened to me about a week after I saw my doctor complaining so couldn’t breathe and he offered antidepressants. I started to feel those cranial nerves burn all through my face and then one day when I woke up it was very hard to open my right eye and the muscles on the right had become paralyzed. From this state I actually learned how to use my mind to heal the nervous system tho! Just a few months later im back to weightlifting and feel much of my body coming back online. One thing not mentioned in this video are some of the lasting effects one can have. Like nerves rewiring themselves incorrectly during the healing process. This is what happened to me unfortunately. Now, whenever I move my mouth (which is all the time in a day of a human) my cheek and my lower eyelid contracts. By the end of a day, the right side of my face gets so tired and it becomes painful. Not to mention that it looks weird as hell when I talk. I'm stuck with that for life and the only thing that helps is botox. It prevents my cheek muscle from contracting too much and it helps to relieve some of the pain. That whole side of my face is just a big mess now. I'm not wishing that to anyone honestly. It sucks. Lol

This is me rn 😭 it started off with sharp pains in the back of my head & ear area then the right side of my tongue went numb then the whole right side of my face went numb. I’m unable to close my eyes, smile, or even talk properly. It’s been like 2 days now. I just got my first acupuncture treatment today & plan on doing a session once every week til I see improvements. I’m also planning on doing some facial exercises & massages using a Gua sha. I hope I get better. I’m trying so hard not to stress. But can some of you guys who have healed give me some tips please? After much deliberation and seeking advice from her doctors, my wife finally decided to get her first covid shot (moderna) afterwards she was shaking and a few weeks later came down with Bell's Palsy. After 2 Hospital stays she is recovering at home, a long recovery. Serious doubt about the second shot.

I think when we get any vaccine (flu or any other type) our bodies natural resistance to the vaccine reacts by "depressing" it's own immunity a bit. And if you combine that with other things happening in your life at the moment, such as STRESS, physical or mental, our bodies react by further "depressing" our immunity. So, build your immune system up by a good healthy diet and good vitamin/mineral supplements.
Vitamin D3 supplements will help immensely with building up your immune response and bringing down the inflammation (Bells Palsy is inflammation to the facial nerve).
Research yourself about taking Vitamin D3, Magnesium Malate and Vitamin K2/MK-7 - as all of these together will help build your immunity and give you overall good health.
I hope this information helps you in getting better and you WILL. Take care.😊💖

Go to your court house and ask if theres dental services for your county if youre in the USA it could be because of your tooth. If not theres travelling free dental services that tour the country if Youre in the usa. When i had it they gave me steroids but the doctors even said it only helps in theory. 1 in 10 will get it and they dont know why it happens or how to fix it and if youve had it youre probably going to get it again. But it's not dangerous and if it happens during halloween like mine did you have amazing costume options lol the tooth is dangerous though you need to get that checked out. Find out what your options are the worst thing that can happen is they say no and youre out nothing but a bit of time. Some dentists will do payment plans call them up. Good luck!
