Do you Think bro? I formed an opinion that WE are the Satan by logic.
1)Satan sent to earth 🌍 and I’m here too
2)the Satan knows the Bible and I know the Bible (not well)
3)Satan believes in God and I believe I didn’t create myself so I’m inferring that I didn’t create myself so there must be a creator or Creation.
      4) Satan knows God created him and I same as before God must have created me
(Most people THINK THEY KNOW that they’re not superior to God but that’s a false belief)
      5) the Satan believes he was superior or better than God. And so did I every time I made my decisions and life choices on my own without seeking Gods input. Every time i went out and did stuff that was harmful. Most of my life I acted as if I was separated and not asking for advice means I don’t need God nor his thoughts for me.

I used to have this friend that I adored. When we were together, every thing felt fun and magical. I moved to another state and we eventually lost touch. I thought I would never feel that magic again without him in my life, but one day I was feeling particularly happy and that same great feeling overwhelmed me. It was amazing because I realized that he was not the source of my bliss, but I was. I had been putting my goodness on him (because he was wonderful) but I was the creator of my that feeling all along.

I was homeless and being abused by the Man I loved more than anything everything seemed very dark and hopeless when I realized and decided I was going to be happy no matter what and it changed my life completely! True story my boyfriend even totally changed and healed himself and is now wonderful to me. We really do create our reality and how we feel about ourselves reflects back to us. I am starting to feel like the real point of my life is to drop the ego fully. Have no desire to have kids. Don't feel the need to get in a relationship, get married, get a house. Not motivated by money. I just feel like my point in being here is to understand what life is, and what I am, and finally get onto another level of reality when this is over. Deep down I have this weird sense that this is my last chance at breaking free. It's weird haha.

I agree with you about the ego thing. My thoughts, these days, focus more on the collective strength of ‘us all’, as opposed to ego/individualism taking the main stage.
I am much more interested in creating/nurturing a space of balance, neutrality, harmony. I’m not saying that I achieve these various ‘states’, but my intention is to ‘concentrate on’, ‘observe’, ‘experience’ life’s events with these qualities in mind. It feels more natural. It makes me feels better.
When I explore something, whether it be physical or cerebral in nature, first I try to figure out where my thinking sits. I ask myself “why do I think that way?”, then seek out other possible perspectives/ideas. I mull all of that over, and usually come out on the other side with a, more or less, harmonious understanding about what I have been pondering. My thinking becomes more wholistic - richer. More all encompassing.
When considering the ‘role’ of our ego, I tend to think of it as being the ‘judgemental’ part of ourselves. We might form an ‘opinion’ about something that weighs more heavily on one end or the other and there’s a danger in becoming ‘antagonistic’. To me the ego doesn’t like to rest in the ‘middle’. It doesn’t like to present itself in ‘balance’. Ego seems more about the ‘individual’ trying to stand out. Trying to make a point. Trying to lift it’s head above the crowd. Above the collective.
In challenging myself to think in ‘new ways’, with less interference from ego, I work to consider different perspectives, how to compromise/negotiate. If I start to defend one approach over another, I stop there and try to rejig my thoughts.
When it all comes down to it, I firmly believe thinking ‘collectively’ more ‘harmoniously’, is more beneficial for all of us. If you start to think this way... it steals the ‘thunder’ away from ego and to me... that’s okay. Namaste.

I wish I had spiritual friends. I practice Eckhart's teachings daily, but it definitely makes me feel 'different' from my peers, like I'm in a different state of consciousness. But even saying that can be ego. A lot of my peers complain about a lot of things, and I just have to accept and put up with it. I can't even try correcting them as that is more ego. Spiritual ego. So I stay silent. But there comes a point where I want to distance myself from them so I (the ego) doesn't keep getting tested. Every day feels like a test. Always have to create space from my mind, and take 100% responsibility for my inner well-being. Some days, I feel I didn't do a good job, and if a negative emotion comes out of it, I know it's more ego. So recently I have been practicing Ho'opponopono to accept and get rid of any negative emotions my ego has conjured up faster than I was able to catch it.

Oh my journey I've found that teachings cross my path when I am ready to hear them and if I resonate then I take them with me. The teachings we are drawn to change over time because on this path there is no right or wrong...Most of all I follow my guidance. I feel that I have two voices in my head, one being the ego and the other my true self. To help me differentiate I imagine my ego on my left shoulder and my true soul self on the right. Every now and then I feel guided to merge my ego with my true self and I see them coming together through visualisation. As you say.. there is no darkness only an absence of light.... In this way the ego has been my friend... one that I accept is there as i guide it into the light. My soul knows the ego is an illusion but in order to truly integrate it over time I have brought it to life so that I can separate my true self from the inner critical voice in my head. The ego is seperation and the soul is oneness. There is no separation. I have achieved so much peace with this merging technique.
Thank you so much for this video, it triggered me but I realise my ego doesnt want to not exist so I think I needed reminding of this haha.

Beautiful. In reality our true nature is unchanging and formless. Any form, including language, cannot be our true selves. (At the same time, everything is an aspect of our true selves just as waves are aspects of the ocean.)
It all comes down to how high the level of truth comes from. You are right not to abandon the ego, but to know that you are truly beyond the ego at the deepest levels.
If we are meant to be pure love, why would we create fear in the ego by abandoning it? If it isn't real, then what does it matter if we abandon it or love it?
I hope Aaron will re-evaluate his teaching.

You still should. I don’t completely agree with him on this one. He creates great and insightful content (mostly) but I have a few points of contention on this one. 1. The ego is necessary-fear is necessary (at certain times). It’s much better to be courageous than trying not to be negative. So 👎 to that. B. We live in a material world-of form so we need to have a human experience. Being too spiritual in the 3rd dimension will be very unbalanced and vice versa. Being grounded (in touch with nature, reality, etc) but also highly spiritual is key. Find balance.

GREAT video that really hit the spot!
As an "enlightened" person you can look through others ego into their true self like through colored glas. In the opposide their true self look at the world - even at you - through their colored ego glas. Which can become pretty dark until their true self is completely buried in utter darkness. So that the true self has no clue anymore what it's ego is doing - here is the narcissist.
On the other hand, the opposide of a nacissist is like this.
As a Son you always are for the Father what he sees in you. And when you truly understood the concept of enlightenment, you allow everyone to see in you whatever they want, so that you become a "Son of man". Because whatever they see in you is just a reflection of themself.
But to stand this violent storms of views on you from all of your environment you have to become a "great prince" for yourself and stand firm in your true self.
So that's in short what "son of man - the great prince" means.

@@AaronAbke That explanation helped a lot actually. We do indeed have different views on the ego. I am more in the belief that one should dive into the shadow, have a talk with the fractured pieces of themselves, acknowledge how they feel and move the conscious and the unconscious mind back into alignment of one another. I believe that one of those fractured pieces is in fact the ego and the reason the ego is so strong in some is because they haven't ever acknowledged that it's there. It's like a child begging for attention that doesn't ever get any. Once you confront it, talk to it and acknowledge it and its feelings, it calms down and becomes content. Shadow work also helps you become aware of all of these pieces of you and with awareness can come understanding.
Even if we don't agree with each other about something, we can still gain knowledge from each others perspective of ideas so I still appreciate this video and our conversation. I also really enjoyed your slice of pie metaphor. Take care and continue to follow what your heart tells you.

    Interesting approach!
In eastern traditions, we are introduced to Bhakti-Yoga. We are clearly advised by the master
not to go outside the triangle of seva (service), shravan (listening to the Truth)
and bhakti( devotion/gratitude). My limited understanding tells me that there must be a very good reason, why master does it.
Master knows that ego does not exist, however, he takes extreme care not to hasten the process-
provisional credibility is given to it and in the precise moment it is removed with grace and love, by grace and love- a spiritual
surgery if you will- when the seeker (ego) is no more, the understanding takes place seeker is the sought.
Bhakti-yoga attenuates the sense of personal self. Self-love, forgiveness and let go sadhanas do work. All sadhanas
are for personal self(ego) and not for the Eternal I. Even in Gita Krishna doesn't enlighten
Arjuna immediately hence the Gita. From my limited perspective, I feel, integration of shadow(ego/inner child)
is important which then brings the next scene to fore. Fully integrated- there are no more issues from its side- the same
ego/mind-reactive mind becomes a responsive mind. When the realization takes place- One does the Lila without doing it.

I have not gone to church or hospitals anymore because I know it is a matrix. Having a relationship with my higher self is the best medicine. It's good and encouraging to listen to somebody the I can agree with thank you.

And divine timing!...I was just listening to ACIM this morning and the quote that struck me was "When you feel (depressed...anxious...) guilty, remember that that the ego has indeed violated the laws of God, but YOU have Not. Leave the sins of the ego to me. That is what the atonement is for."💜♾💜 Thanks for this!🙏

6:26 It's ok to love oneself even when we know we have been wrong. Also, i must say, it is not exactly a matter of doing better. We're all already doing our best. Let's be who we are, however we may be; and that is what really counts. After all, we come here for the experience - not so to become better than we already are as we are in our essence, in consciousness. Also, there truly is no need to judge ourselves. _"Better than"_ is perception.

What am trying to say is , everyone spiritual path is different, LOA guides !! Just point the way to self love simple thing!! Once u start labeling it becomes a religion, you do this or else prophetic !! Aaron my brother all the love to you , ur doing a good job . In ur videos guide within your blissful experiences we will filter it to our use , forget about there arguments n sides it dims your beautiful wisdom .love love!!

Aaron your doing a great job, teaching love self love !! Remember Stay on the essence of the message your trying to convey!! The moment you pick one side of any arguments it becomes prophetic, meaning every spiritual path is different nothing is for certain in the formless! What ur teaching is ur blissful experiences , the wisdom is in its simplicity the least resistance path for ur students is the less labeled path !! Sometimes the ego is not a problem with one till its labbeled demon ! Self love know the CREATOR not the ego !! All the love 2u my brother.

Eliminating the ego is similar to meditation and manifestation. It's not something you can accomplish by focusing on it but focusing through non focus. Loved the video Aaron, I just recently have self discovered my technique for abandoning ego but still need to master it. Seeing this video helped me confirm to that small bit of doubting ego that im on the right path. My ego is slowly surrendering itself to the spirit. Took a lot of kicking and screaming, but it's learning it's place.
