I've been a Paneristi for more than a decade now having owned a PAM 112 and now wear a PAM 312 daily. I'm looking to add a Submersible and a PAM 233 gmt soon. Panerai is one of the most recognizable watch brands mainly due to the trademark crown guard and substantial size. It just commands attention when seen on someone's wrist. Thank you for this quality episode, very informative and well presented.
i finally bought a PAM1389 early last year after wishing to own a PAM for more than a decade and bought a PAM906 for my wife few months later. Love the crown guard and, I can feel the watch presence on the wrist.
I have 2 One Havana 240 and a Tuttonero 441.. Exceptional watches never out of fashion. Excellent video, I can stay and listen your exposee for ever. keep it man
I was at the Melbourne flagship store just this week. I ended up getting the ceramic luminor for my husband's birthday 😊 I was going to buy somewhat his/her in due but I have a very small wrist and it's just way too big.
Panerai is my favorite because they have big faces and small cases, and some are very sporty watches. I recently just got a Radiomir, Pam 380. Its my first Panerai watch, and i love it!
Nicely done! I wanted a Panerai in my late 20s and early 30s and almost bought one several times but they just didn't look right on my wrist! Anything above 40mm just looks ridiculous when I wear it. So there, I never got one and now I'm in my late 30s and my style and taste in watches have totally gone away from what a Panerai looks like! Still appreciate the brand and still admire the pieces I see on people with the right wrists for them!
I really love the entire Panerai aesthetic. The Bronzo is what really does it for me. However, I'm not in love with their pricing because it's so foreign to me. They have what appears to be very near identical watches...but one costs twice as much. While I love the bronzo, I don't know if I would love it enough to buy it...even at half the cost
Big fan of the brand. Had quite a few over the years. Sold a few too. Im more of a radiomir fan. Love my 323 10 day. Always wear it. Good channel just found it today and subbed. Happy New year.
Wow, this is a really good video! I'm not a huge fan of Panerai because the dials are so flat and uninspiring and so it's hard to see where the money is going. That said, one of my favourite watches is the PAM355 GMT Alarm. The movement finishing is superb, the digital GMT display is fantastic, the alarm is really cool, and the entire design is so cohesive and plain cool.
These watches are way more versatile than people give them credit for. I personally think on a nice black leather strap, they look just as great with a suit as with jeans or swim trunks on the beach. Still up in the air as to which I'd buy, radiomir or luminor. Wish i could afford both.
This video is looking more broadly at the Radiomir and Luminor collections and their histories / stories etc. For more Due, check out this video: ua-cam.com/video/p0TEg-d5bXA/v-deo.html
Edward van Harmelen pausing it at 3:59 you can see it’s def a 1940 case with the 9, a date window, GMT hand and seems to say “automatic”just above the 6...this would be a PAM00657
I wonder if it’s possible to overstate the sheer goofiness of citing the California dial without any discussion of the reasoning behind it.Since this young man seems uninterested in the task, would someone please enlighten us?
Why don't they hold their value? Why can you buy them half price at an AD? Why isn't there any consistency with movements? This company could have been amazing had they not been useless with value retention.
I'll give you credit for the effort but your source for the history seems to be the Richemont version of events. While I still like a lot of things about their watches, the accurate history of the brand is absolutely skewed, including the story of Sylvester walking into a boutique. He did put them on the map but this was the beginning or what is now infamous celebrity endorsements. I highly suggest you follow www.perezcope.com for a look at the the history, including historical documentation that the author provides in absolute detail and amazing close up images as well as stories about purported forgeries that have been used as the basis of prototypes that Richemont puts out to the public. You will learn a lot more about the truth behind a lot of their marketing fairy tales. Enjoy the read and you're welcome. Please make another video of what you learn after reading the site.
Design wise I really really like Panerai and i really would like to buy one. However everyone i know who owns or owned a Panerai tell me they hated it after owning it. Almost all of them want to get rid of the Panerai and trade for something else.
Luminor and never Radiomir if Panerai. But the movement scandal put us in doubts that perhaps again such disaster may happen, so better skip Panerai and look for other brands. Italians are not as honest as the Swiss!!! Sorry but this is the translation now a days.

I got a Radiomir this week, fantastic watch, love it very much!
Loved this clip. I recently got me a Panerai Luminor 1950 , and I'm loving it! cheers, eric

beautiful story telling, please more contents like this in the future
I love my Panerais: Pam 111 and Pam 312. I jsut recently got a PAM 1036 Luna Rossa.
I was at the Melbourne flagship store just this week. I ended up getting the ceramic luminor for my husband's birthday 😊 I was going to buy somewhat his/her in due but I have a very small wrist and it's just way too big.
such a nicely made video. good one guys

Bought an SLC 425 with 47mm case and handwound pocket watch movement, love it👍

Nope, it's a submersible.
Love the history. Makes me appreciate my Luminor PAM00311 even more. Thanks

Love the look of the pam 1088.
Big fan of the brand. Had quite a few over the years. Sold a few too. Im more of a radiomir fan. Love my 323 10 day. Always wear it. Good channel just found it today and subbed. Happy New year.
Great video Team T+T! I've learned a few things about Panerai today, thanks.
Enjoyed the video. Very informative. Thank you
Love this video. I’ve been considering a Luminor Ref PAM01537 so this video is timely. Done a bit of research on my own, but good to hear a bit more.

So hard to see where the money is going? LOL There is no watch retailing above $10K that you can't ask that same question of....
Keep these coming. Well done
Thank you, and thanks for watching.

Excellent video - Well doneT&T!
nice video, thank you
Solid content!
How timely! I’m a newbie looking at Panerai. Thanks for the great video!
Radiomir all day every day.
I love my 372 & 233.
Great content, good video!
Great Video, keep up the great work!
What was the Radiomir Andrew was wearing?
Panerai luminary its the Biutiful.. Wow!! Increíble
I'll take either and or both
At 8.44 what is that model on the right in the window? Thanks
What about the 1950 case?
Whats the reference number of the Radiomir in this video?
Pams are good for guys with poor eyes, easy to read! Love my 590.
Why Luminor 1950 and Due collections are missing?
This video is looking more broadly at the Radiomir and Luminor collections and their histories / stories etc. For more Due, check out this video: ua-cam.com/video/p0TEg-d5bXA/v-deo.html
Great video thanks, now where's the cheap homage?
I love panerai
I only like 1950 Luminor like a boat shape..312, 351, 359..
Should have included the submersible
... I'd love to see a review on that branch
What model do you wear this movie???
PAM00657
What model is Andrew wearing I can see its a Radiomir?
Edward van Harmelen pausing it at 3:59 you can see it’s def a 1940 case with the 9, a date window, GMT hand and seems to say “automatic”just above the 6...this would be a PAM00657
I think its the PAM627
It's exactly PAM00572
@@gsf4033 Nice try but take another look. Julian got it, it's a GMT - PAM00657
@@KRYPTIDE yup!
I see the Luminor as the real deal if you want a Panerai. That`s why I wear a PAM 0111 every day.
Великолепные часы !!!
Drooling. 🤤
Great review. Great looking watch brand. Thank you.
I wish I had a bigger wrist only for this radiomir 😩😩
Is the radiomir still uses radium for the luminous or is the radiomir just a continuation of the line but using a less toxic luminous paint?
Radium isn't used anymore. Luminor is used instead.
MUI vacano esos relojes
I think Panerai is making a slow comeback.. I like their 4 lines.. but they need to simplify the amount of models.. far too many and confusing.
Both!
Just curious, what is the proper way to pronounce panerai? Is it Pánerai, or Panérai? I've heard it both ways.
Jacob Stromburg 1st way is the correct one
Did you lose the other glove or are you just being different?
why use leather straps on dive watch?
Y L Luis at least ther's no natoCrap on it...
Because 95% of people owning dive watches never dive :) plus I think they come with an extra rubber strap too
To keep the fools speaking. Fool
They come with additional rubber straps
A Hasnath news flash..they have additional RUBBER STRAPS in the box!
I wonder if it’s possible to overstate the sheer goofiness of citing the California dial without any discussion of the reasoning behind it.Since this young man seems uninterested in the task, would someone please enlighten us?
Panerai on Baselworld??
Burkhalter Media nope, SIHH
You need to focus the watch more to have a better angle of the watch.
Was that a Bronzo on the window!!?
What is the ref on the watch on your wrist?
Why is he wearing a glove but touching the watch with the un gloved hand.
i don’t think there is a Luminor with 3,6,9,12 and seconds hand..
Why don't they hold their value? Why can you buy them half price at an AD? Why isn't there any consistency with movements?
This company could have been amazing had they not been useless with value retention.
Thanks Andrew, now I know exactly which Panerai to get. None of them 0_0
Cool story regardless.
Why ?
Short answer: get both.
👍👏
For me Luminor Marina PAM 00048

I bought a Luminor and the clasp kept breaking. Piece of crap. They fixed it once and wanted to charge me $600.
Luminor as automatic then Radiomir as manual wind..😁
Design wise I really really like Panerai and i really would like to buy one. However everyone i know who owns or owned a Panerai tell me they hated it after owning it. Almost all of them want to get rid of the Panerai and trade for something else.
UnavailableNotAgain Follow FredericoTalksWatches ;) He owns them and loves them
UnavailableNotAgain let me guess : something with a white triangle on the bezel ? ?
Veltto123 Federico is planning to sell 2 of his 3 Panerai
I love my Luminor PAMs. I choose them most days over my IWC & Rolexes (including SS ceramic Daytona).
pan's aren't my style, but enjoyed the "bedtime stories with andrew" segment and hope it's the new norm. 👍
phat nutz once upon a time there was a loyal UA-cam commenter.... 🙌🏻
Royal? Italian navy in the 1940’s. That is incorrect was not “Royal” at that time
No? Republic was born in 1946. Try again.
No such thing as Royal Italian Navy.
Radiomir
Luminor and never Radiomir if Panerai. But the movement scandal put us in doubts that perhaps again such disaster may happen, so better skip Panerai and look for other brands. Italians are not as honest as the Swiss!!! Sorry but this is the translation now a days.
Rads over Lumes
Italian Pride
The review looks like mike Ohearn ... with his genetics he should of also done bodybuilding lol
I really wanted you enjoy this vid, but didn’t! It just bored the pants off me, I like the Radiomir collection though. Thank you
1950 lost ! incomplete with big statement, no good for one that is choosing a panerai
One glove ? Ask u boss for more money
I am the boss 😢
Did you loose a glove or just being half pretentious?
I think you meant ....lose
If I spend thousands of dollars for a watch that looks plain...it's going to be a Rolex. Thanks for the review though.
No taste
ROLEX IS FOR THE HERD... boring watches
Too bad they are gigantic
